This paragraph is laughable, especially coming from supposed Yoruba people - when Nigeria has never had a Yoruba senate president. I guess Yorubas have never been recognised as part of the supposed ‘tripod’ and Nigeria has been pushing its luck too far since it was created.

Some weak, sanctimonious Yoruba people are the biggest problem of Yoruba people. I don’t know why these numbnuts tend to get swayed easily by cheap emotional blackmail by Igbos all the time.

It doesn’t even make sense to have an Igbo senate president since the man was rejected and ridiculed by Igbos overtly and covertly. And he’s still going through it with them due to hate. So, why give such a powerful position to someone from the same group with questionable loyalty?

Tinubu would be a suicidal idiot to support an Igbo senate president.

What has surprised me most is how that Senator Bamidele Opeyemi is forcefully making sure he appears in any photograph with the President- elect. He was behind him at the airport the other day. The next day he was at Tinubu's house.

But this man was on TV just before APC primary saying 'I can never work with Tinubu'.

When the reporter reminded him that Tinubu had helped to launch and progress his political career. He completely denied it, and said they were colleagues in Lagos and nothing more that that.

He was one of the Vice president 's supporters, and part of another group of Aso -Rock actors against Tinubu.

To now see the same man hanging on Tinubu's coat tail like a houseboy tells you all you need to know about humans.

Also according the same law (I stand to be corrected on this one) this case is more than 10 years ago, even if he was convicted for it (we don't even have any evidence of conviction yet), then he is free to become the president.

I hope you know the Appeal court has ruled on this issue previously in February when APM brought it up.

One of the rulings was that only an LP Aspirant could challenge the nomination done by the LP as a party.
Do you think the same Appeal court(which will constitute the tribunal) will reverse itself this time because Tinubu is involved?

Why do seem to be struggling with the distinction between objections against factual allegations of a flawed election and objections on pre-election matters (which btw the competing parties have made)? It is NOT mutually exclusive that Obi may not have been eligible to contest on the platform of the LP, as alleged by the APC response (or indeed that Tinubu was not qualified to contest for the presidency at all, as the LP itself alleges in its petition), and also that the elections itself was flawed and its results and outcome manipulated and rigged. TWO DIFFERENT AND DISPARATE MATTERS, but the latter was interestingly not being defended against in the APC response.
