My husband was very poor diligent young man with a vision. My traditional and white wedding was a talk of the town in the negative. We printed 50 cards, not because we hated crowds but we don’t want them to come and see our shame. My husband didn’t buy suit or the men’s accessories. My clothing is story for another day. Food and drink was not enough for about 80 persons. No Professional mc , in fact by 2:30 we are through with everything. From the little money spread we started checking hotels that’s is about 3k downward. Mmmmm, we found eventually, they don’t sale food we went into the street and bought minerals, suya etc the hotel uses only nepa no Gen unless n demand and you fuel it . The door is not good and some peep from the door knob. The toilet is not working you have to use bucket to fetch water. The ceiling fan Ahahahah is blended and very close that before you stand up on the bed you hand will touch the fan, not to talk about the noise of the fan. Next morning we went home and continued the breakdown few days later. This happened close to a decade ago. Thank God we can afford 5 star hotel ( if we save small of cos ) Yes it was years of little beginnings.

At my age, I don’t have time to come and lie on Nairaland. It lies and fake life that made me delete all my social media accounts and use only WhatsApp. No one know me here how should I lie.
