justifiedcoyy: lamination of statement of result is not in anyway a problem.. it is call up letter that must not be laminated.
ur skul must have said that to make u be on a safer side..
I laminated mine too.. but it wasn't sealed.. it was laminated in a way that I can easily remove it. Because yours is easily removable, doesn't mean it is the norm.I repeat again, you don't laminate your SOR till you go through nysc screening in camp |

klassd: I hope you know the difference between SOR and certificate. Certificate has an emblem to determine its authenticity, while SOR has none!!! please be informed that all schools registrars have their signature imprinted with Nysc, what they told us during mobilization briefing was that, they will place our SOR under whatever gadget to scan the signature of the registrar of our school, that they know student's come with fake results and therefore no student should laminate his or her SOR or cert for whatever reasons pending when you are screened in camp. To authenticate the signature on your SOR,you must not laminate it.period |

Cc Kapable75 Ibroh22 Dream2 Chumaster Dude, weren't you informed in your school that you don't laminate your SOR until after u are cleared from camp.Hope u knw it will be vetted in camp, u better take razor and painstakingly remove that stuff.Laminating of certificates makes it difficult to be verified and hence cast a doubt on the authenticity of the said cert. |

chumaster: I believe one of the reasons why mob list are pasted b4 uploading is for PCMs to crosscheck and report any error. Why not go to your DSA and report to them so that they can effect the change on time You re right, but note it is only errors committed by school during filling of students personal details that can be corrected in school, hence 'error list'.But if it is from Jamb, school will advise that u get an affidavit from court. |

Cc LogoDwhiz amodu Your case is never an error from the school but jamb,so it can't be corrected from your sch but in camp.Only those whose names was misspelt by school can be corrected by filling the error form and names appears in 'error list'. Go and get an affidavit from court to proof that you are the owner of the said name. |

If truly you are a royalty and your view is that of the majority, then I see no reason to continue to stand on the gap for your people.
I believe God has made it clear to me why my prayer for peace upon Ogba land won't stand.
Before I utter my last comment that will come to past on Ogba land, pls clarify the post directly above if truly you are a royalty.
Did your Oba attempt to abolish the law that forbids the sale of land to the Igbos.?
What is the name of that Oba.? Please go have a life bro, your prayers can't even leave the ceiling of your house not to talk of ascending to high heaven's.You talk about Christ yet your words is full of hate and bitterness.Hypocrisy at full display,I rest my case on this issue .We Ogba's will deal with our own problems ,it is internal and we are resolute in finding a listing solution to own affairs.Good bye and happy independence to you. |

You claim you are not Igbos, abi? So you go to Benin and crown your kings... From the Eze - Egi to the Chukwumela Nnam-Obi the Ogba king who denies being Igbo despite bearing full Igbo names.
You never knew you bring the witchcrafts Benin people are running from to your land. Those witches and juju you bring are ever blood thirsty. The killings won't stop. When one mafia don dies, another one will arise.
By the way, I lived at Akabuka. Let me schooled you a little,Portuguese and Brazilians bear same name, but that doesn't make them the same. They maybe related by same ancestral bloodline, but they are unique in their own way.Just as an Edo man bears same name with a yoruba man, doesn't make him a Yoruba.Learn to accept the fact that someone whose name sound alike like yours is never related to you,English has proofed that.(Homonyms ) |

I see no need to establish a premise on the age long tradition of Ogbaland to stranger,as custodian of the tradition,is our prerogative to preserve it.If you don't like it,you can go to a law court and challenge it.There are scared things that pertained to every communities across the nation,so it is in Ogbaland.
Simply respect traditional values and don't try to ask questions you know you will never have a answer to and can never change no matter what. |

There must be a reason. Pls tell me. I have followed this thread with rapt attention and some few folks made sense in their contributions while some become bigot in their contributions.
Firstly, let me ask this questions,is there no community in Nigeria as of today where strangers have restrictions to certain place to go to and certain things they do.That's culture for you.Just as a stranger is permitted to farm in some Igbo community and not allowed to own that farm land ,so it is in Ogbaland.Every other tribes can freely own land in Ogbaland but not an Igbo man,it is an age long tradition that was handed over to us by our forefathers and so it must be.
Secondly,I was denied opportunities of travelling to London to study ,simply because I wasn't an indigene of Ogu,a local government in same Rivers state. No place has it ever been heard in Nigeria as of today that indigenes don't suppress strangers, and the reasons is not far fetched, protect your own.I schooled in Abia state,I was victimized,I took it in good faith and understands that the locals there are only trying to protect their own.Even if you go to US,you can't have bragging rights as one who is a true blood.
furthermore, the happenings in Onelga as it is as of today,is 60% political motivated and 40% battle of supremacy by rivals cult groups.Yes ,there are too many cultists in Ogbaland, but do a good study why this cult culture is on the rise, you will discover is for interest in aligning oneself to a group that will give you access to job in the so called oil companies in that region. Many have been received into joining one group or the other all in the name of job,but because every cult has a criminality elements in it,the violence suffice.
To be continued. |

Let me throw this questions to all those who have hinged their mind on 'state allawi' as a determinant for choosing a state to serve.
supposing you were given admission to do MSC to PhD free will you accept any of those state? Excluding the security risk states.
Again, what if you the state u finally choose was paying before and when you were deployed down to the state and the government of the day decides not to be paying again, what will be your next line of action?
Would you prefer a state where you are paid #10000 and the standard of living is high, that the so called state allawi can't even sustained you?
pls I need response from you. |

Nzeh12: Rivers state.... Rivers state pays 10k, buh it's been a while govt paid sha. The town is developed. Not as vibrant as it used to be, militant activities have chased companies and are reducing some companies revenue. I always marvel at how cheap transportation is when I visit other states, so our tp here is high. From ur parlor to ur bed room is #50, that's the least tp in Rivers. As per accommodation, it's on the average side. Self contain (room, toilet and kitchen) ranges from 120 (in a Lil less developed parts of PH) to #250 in GRA and Co. A bed room flat ranges from like 190 to #250, in some cases #300-350. As for roads, our roads are good and the governor is seriously working on that. Good road network. Security wise, Rivers is a no.. no.... Kidnapping is on the rise, robbery is on the rise, cultism is high. There are are roads u don't even ply as from 6pm. Some LGAs are unlivable. Buh some communities are safe tho, like the one I stay. If you want to come to pH for flexing, brothers and sisters ur allowee will not even belle full u for one day flexing. Alot of good hangouts, bars, restaurants, motels and brothels, clubs. Infact as far as ur in GRA, u'll get all the flexing of ur life, buh #19800 will not reach u to flex to the maximum, especially them niggaz that want to show them ladies a good time. We still got cool places where u can spend moderately sha. As for the warmth of Rivers people, they're aii. I have very few friends, and very few of my few friends are from Rivers, so I can't tell u Rivers people are cool or not. If ur biz minded, there are opportunities here, Rivers has high spending power. In all, Rivers isn't so safe, buh things will calm down as things only got this bad after elections. Rivers is expensive buh if u apply urself, u'll make wealth outta here. I'm from delta state buh "Rivers state still remains the best in the south south"..... Morning bro,I must commend you for the insight abt Rivers state, but you are not from Rivers though you reside there.Giving an overview of Rivers state with PH and not mentioning its local government areas cannot give one all vital info abt the state.Once again you have done a good job. |
