toluene1234: Hello gurus, please help. Is it out of place for your school to request a tuition deposit of at least $3000 before you they can send I-20 to apply for visa? LagosismyHome: Few schools ask for deposit and many more do not. ... i think proper research from begining would have shown if the school does or doesn't
I am not a fan of paying before visa but if the school is very important to you. Then you have to make that decision .... how u send it will most likely be blackmarket route... then the trouble of getting the money back if visa not given...for me all that hassle not worth it when there are thousands of schools that dont ask for deposit..... You've hit the point with those enunciate point...my advice to the bolded is to ask the school if there is a refund In Case Things goes unplanned . meet a friend who was refunded after payment . |

TWoods: With the amount of "God", "grace" and all the other religious mumbo jumbo i read here... one would almost confuse this thread to be a church service of some sort. That makes me wonder, for a country that is so religious, why is it so poor and corrupt? Baba is back from sabbatical leave .... |

obaxlove: To help with your question Is this normal? Yes it is, Transcript or certificate will be requested of all the schools you listed as Attend (that's on the first page of your login)
How will I get my WAEC transcript sent to them? Check the uploaded picture below for list of things you need to take with you
Can WAEC do the sending? Yes, the can and will (so far you aren't planning process it on credit) it takes WAEC 5days to process and 5-7days for Courier service to deliver
Which of the WAEC office should I go? WAEC Headquarter at Hussey Rd, Yaba, Lagos , lagos (I don't know outside lagos).
My 2 Naira: -be sure not to hand you money to the hustler on the street, avoid any story enter into the main building and ask the receptionist -if you want to be thrifty in spending prepare all needed items before going,if you want to be charitable please don't unless you ha -would there be any question about the documents don't be to ask

electronic: Some schools require you to pay some deposit.. But its not the Norm. What if a student pays and VISA is delayed or one decides to change school... Though it might sound not the Norms, Just to answer the what if question, i know of a Uni that will refund your money |

sirelawrence: Greetings all. Just a suggestion, i think we should form a whatsapp group for everyone that got admission for fall 2017, with or without scholarship, and whose visa has been approved. This will enable us to keep in touch before and after travel and also be able to give advise to others preparing for admission in subsequent sessions. This group has blessed me. @bold, it has blessed your life because you were able to access information shared by other years back, that won't be possible on your WhatsApp idea.... I deduce you intention isn't for personal interest but its far better here so anyone new to the thread can benefit info shared 3,4years back... |
