Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement, honestly I don't blame the VOs for refusing Pgd/c, most people abused the opportunity by not going to school, it's so unfortunate that people that actually want to further through these courses are not seen as genuine students, I sometimes read on this thread, the same course I put in for, someone got her TrV for it in 2015 in just a week, I thought I was going to share my testimony here to encourage people about Pgc because the only reason at first was just funds, to cap it all, just pray that a reasonable VO responds to your application, that's all that matters. It is well! 1 Like |

Long post alert! 1st app: Submitted: 23/6/17 Refused: 31/8/17 2nd app: Submitted: 18/10/17 Refused: 15/11/17 Thanks to everyone, I finally picked up my passport, here is to correct the notion that I was being negative even before I submitted my 2nd application by asking if after tackling issue of funds which was the only reason for the first denial 'Lump sum deposit' as seen on the gcms note, I asked solely because I didn't put in for masters as I am a nurse and masters in nursing is not open to international nurses, so I opted for Pgc in nursing (Enhanced Nursing Practice), I gave my application another shot because I was initially refused based on just funds, picked up my refusal note now to see: 1. Purpose of visit 2. Travel history 3. Personal asset and financial status 4. Employment situation Finances wasn't ticked this time, Safe to say, a different VO reviewed and saw my app as not justified for approval, it all balls down to the level/choice of course. This forum has sure made me stronger, this forum gave me hope to even put in for the 2nd application, not getting approved is devastating but please let the pain make you better and not bitter, thanks to everyone & I wish all applicants the best. mb92: What's the update on your application, you seem bothered, just calm down, either positive or negative, you have to accept. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Arebo: 2:00pm On Nov 19, 2017 |
mb92: No, I didn't after I tracked my passport & it reads dispatched, usually with upfront medical, one should get approval mail, but since there is no mail. God knows best |

tommee: Thanks....lol...I remember asking if one could get denied again after tackling 'lump sum' issue, like I saw this coming, no energy for 3rd application, guess God got other plans. |

bbclue: Thanks.... the major problem now is I didn't link my app online this time around, so that I don't know the new denial reason, why I am sure is I didn't get approval mail & it says passport despatched when i tracked my application, so I don't know what basis I can ask for my file to be reopened. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Arebo: 7:16am On Nov 19, 2017 |
bbclue: No.... not immediately, I ordered for gcms note and reason was just recent lump sum deposit from unknown source, tackled & applied again with the same documents & Medical, guess it's a different reason this time again....God knows best |

Funny post! For the past four days, Bn reading people's stories here on a lowkey & commenting, submitted my 2nd application on oct 18th, for some funny reason, I didn't link it online this time around because of the emotional stress, I decided to link online tonight but my mind told me to track it first & see what's up, app shows that passport has been dispatched since 15th, with no approval mail, safe to say...I love canny but maybe God has better plans...it is well |

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Arebo: 8:33pm On Nov 15, 2017 |
EbonyHRH: Uncle, my candid advice is go for a masters or Pgd, honest truth is at 33, Bsc isn't an option, read through the previous pages and see how VOs quotes applicants ages stating the level of course they are going for, these people take their time to analyze age & program, I am not saying it's not possible but save yourself the stress. |

Abiodunne: It is well o, over a year to get approval, you are such a gentle soul, I have a family friend who asked for his passport back since they weren't forthcoming & he got a response from them, his visa got approved, although it wasn't student visa but visiting visa, your case is different, I think you should send them a mail expressing yourself, this isn't fair... |

Good day everyone, I have a question, might sound stupid but please share your opinion, most people's gcms notes states after careful review of application & supporting documents, nothing of such was stated in mine, does it mean my app wasn't thoroughly checked?? Below is the note
