I don't know about that, but I do know that the school was an unaccredited mess and the Nigerian government, for once in its existence, did the right thing by withdrawing recognition from certificates issued by that school and other Cotonou ventures. Hmm this is what I will not agree with,I still know so many cotonu graduates that are serving presently in Nigeria infact if not because of covid-19 some of their graduates would have been mobilized for NYSC batch C... |

soleexx: I'm glad you asked 1. Programming is not a "hard" But I won't lie, can be stressful.. Programming is the act of designing and building an executable computer program to accomplish a specific task... Accomplishing this task when you still learning can be stressful but never hard... "Don't give up" my mentor encourage words...
2. There are no specific estimated time to learn but I will advice you to keep learning till the next 6months or more... By that time, you not an expect but atleast you should be able to carry on many practice project on you own
3. Its depends on what kind of programs you want to learn... If you want to be frontend web developer I think your budget should start from 50k from a well standard IT school, if you want to run full stack Or software Development , then I guess budget should be around 100+... You maybe lucky to see more cheaper rate its not a fixed price... What matters is a sound IT school
4. I can only advice you to search for top 10 IT school in your state that offer those courses ... My mentor gave me everything I wanted before he relocated to the States as Full Stack Developer
5. Programming Is Obviously one of the best career to pursue right now.. We are in the word of digital Computer.. Other field needs us to function well... Medical needs us.. We provide lots of ICU equipment human need to survive Education needs IT Banks Can't run without IT Even in the military. IT personal are one of the highest paid in Canada /UnitedStates also Europe..
6.You are have very high assurance to secure a job with your IT skills... But note! Not all that graduate will get a job in IT company... Just like medical school
We call ourselves Qualified Computer Scientist because we understand the concept and fundamental of our career especially in the practical area...
You will secure a job if you know what you doing You need to tell yourself! I want to be a programmer and you must prove It... If you learn and you know it... Consider yourself settled in life...
Tho NIGERIA got issue with Employment, Bright brain or not... Naija will always be Naija
I will advice if you still an undergraduate studying computer science... As soon as you through with school and you have your Skills at hand.... Pls I beg find a way to relocate outside the country
NorthAmerica value IT Europe value IT Asia value IT Africa? Not all
Pls find a way to run your master in advance computer Outside nigeria and not only you will be okay in Life...
You will be successful...
Any Day I realize I follow my dream right from my kid age... I will always be greatful
Let me tell you a funny facts about me
While arranging my docs I found my result in Nursary school
Out of 9 subjects
Result was 8 subjects result was D While one subject was A
Computer was only subject I scored A
I was very little then but I know my destiny that day
Yours maybe different but still you can rewrite it and be a full Time Programmer and earn fortune for yourself and your family
Thanks and Goodluck
More question feel free to ask.... Good suggestion but I need a valid answer to this question between full stack developer and data science which one is most sought after especially someone that plans to furthermore his studies abroad? |

Ayodejioak: Remotely working from home from here in the US due to COVID of course. I heard someone mentioning they were getting paid $500/month. That is enslavement bro. They'll delibrately outsource such jobs to beat down the price. That figure is about what we'll make here in 1 day.
If you're into any of these fields; developer, infosec, coding, pentest, net sec or any IT core field, this season is the best time cash in since you can literally run 2 jobs concurrently and run a third paying IT survey gig like URI.
And most of these apply outside the states too, just got to be in the position. From all you mentioned you did not mention data scientists&Analyst does it mean they are not most sought after like the one you mentioned above? |

ou went to work from 7am to 2pm daily as a Nigerian graduate and by month end your government pays you $71(30,000) and you say, "The government is trying".... Your uneducated neighbor traveled to Europe and he's earning $72 in 6hrs, yet, you are not bothered. Npower was introduced to keep graduates "within" the poverty line, it was never meant to lift anyone from poverty...what the Nigerian government pays you for 132 hours is what your mates get for 6hrs in human inhabited countries, yet, you are not bothered. If they ask you to be bothered, you always say, "complaining will not change anything".... You fail to realize that multiple and coordinated complaints from knowledge of oppression is the only basis for true societal reformation. Once again I say(though you may not agree), the Nigerian governments (all tiers and structures) as constituted today, see the ordinary Nigerians as refugees who should be grateful for receiving 30k monthly with hard labour. Civil servants who earn 500,000 naira monthly for 35 years are retired with special bulk payment known as "gratuities" but innocent graduates were paid 30,000 naira monthly for three years and disengaged without start up funds and the government calls it empowerment. When we go to the markets, sellers don't reduce the prices of commodities for us because we are npower volunteers: they sell at the same price they sell to ministers and Directors... How do you train people for two to three years and send them off without a start- up fund? Psychometric Test is a ploy to console and silence npower volunteers. A reasonable government will not disengage poor people during socioeconomic crisis. There is nothing wrong for the government to enrol one million volunteers with 30bn naira monthly till 2023. You can never lift people from poverty with 30,000 naira monthly coupled with hard labour. Npower volunteers are treated worse than refugees in Italy... To my potential batch C volunteers, you may see 30,000 as millions today because you have not been enrolled. Don't worry, after enrolment, you will feel the pains of being oppressed by your principals, Focal persons and minister...you will feel the pains of working at a primary health care from 7:30am to 5pm with delayed 30,000 naira monthly. 30,000 naira will NEVER improve your life in 12 months.....the whip that was used on the first wife is reserved for the second wife. Nigerian graduates deserve better empowerment but we are oppressed, used and misused by the government we joyfully voted into power. Buhari promised us 3 million jobs yearly when elected, but what we got was upgraded NYSC for a limited period. Npower batches A&B volunteers are now sent back to the labour market. Training without empowerment funds is a sham and mere political display. You cannot train 500,000 graduates with 30,000 naira shoe allowances and in the end, drive them away with nothing to hold on..... Stay strong Nigerian graduates.... we shall meet in the land where there's no darkness.... The end of an age ushers a new era.... Stay strong Nigerian graduates |
