barcanista: On what ground did the National Industrial Court gave in to the prayers of the 22 APC rascals? This is a rape to democracy and a big setback to Nigeria's democratic struggle. RVSG must appeal this sham of a judgement! How can a Judge reinstate rascals that were "selected" by some guy from Ubima without the input of Riverians? How can something be legitimate when the RSIEC extant law was abused? How can the LG poll be legitimate when there was a court injunction and there wasn't INEC voters register? This is sad... oga why are u acting so uncultured.u can pass ur message without being insultive.i believe some of those people u repeatadly call rascals are old enough to be ur uncle or father. |

Seems there has been subtle co;onisation of the whole of the north by the Hausa/Fulani on one part andthe kanuris on the other part. nobody is suppressing them.u hav nt heard abt them because u dnt knw the north well.u guys should just stop dis ur hausa fulani brohaha.have u heard of general ishaya and musa bamayi b4,u did be suprised to knw there are plenty indigent christians from some of this core northen states the reason u might also nt knw is they bear the hausa version of there christian names.e.g moses-musa, isaiah-ishaya so unless u hav being resident in those states b4 u wouldnt knw. |

I'm speechless.
Is this the same war Buhari said him and his imaginary brothers are winning? Is someone really showing Buhari these tears-inducing pictures? How can Buhari without lack of conscience open his mouth to say they're winning this war? Which war if i may ask? The one that has gulped more than a thousand lives of citizens? Or do Buhari's dementia thinks innocent citizens being killed are Boko Haram? I don't think we've a President.
And the media houses ain't helping matter. They reported that 20 people lost their lives while up to 100 people are dead from that blast. Who are they deceiving? u must realy be very dull for pointing ur blame at buhari.by nw u should have known that those useless boko-haram are losing the fight and have nw resulted to using gorilla tactics.if i may ask u wen last did u hear that bokoharam has taken over a town or ambushed and killed several of our gallant soldiers.the government alone cannot stop sucide bombing, we the general public need to be more vigilant so as to be able to identify potential sucide bombers before they strike.even in the more advanced america sucide bombers and mass killers stil strike atwill.may God console those dat lost there loved ones |

barcanista: It is naïve to say Saraki and Dogara's loyalty are to the North. Lawan's loyalty is to the North because as lobg as it is between a core Northerner like Lawan and a "floating" Northerner like Saraki, the North will always back Lawan and they did.
For Dogara, he's a CHRISTIaN from Bauchi state. The politics of religion in the North can never allow him to play the "core muslim" Northern cabals card. The North preferred a core Northerner" in the person of Maguno as Deputy Speaker instead.
Just watch as the game unfold...you have no idea of what's going on! barcanista u cant be knowlegdeable abt everytin.and i think u have little or no knowlegde abt how the north plays politics.for u to say saraki or dogara's loyality will be to the south smacks of ignorance from you.sarakis emergence did nt deal any blow to the so called northen establishment u keep mentioning.rather it was pdp's way of paying back apc in there own coins in respect to what happend in 2011.ask any of the pdp senator's present yesterday and they would tell u it was never abt defeating the nothern establishment as u mentioned.barca like i said earlier u have little knowledge abt how the north works it would be better u focus ur energy in discussing ss/se politics.u realy missed it wen u even said because saraki was elected by majority southern pdp members he automatical will align with them rather than the north.kai smh |

When the previous house of Representatives voted against zoning by voting Tambuwal as the Speaker, did jonathan shift from his seat. you see the problem with u is u already hate buhari that u would nt use an open mind to understand his actions.the president called all apc legislatures for a meeting so as to intervene in the crisis brewing the party thats all the article said.where did u get ur assertion of buhari prefering one candidate to another from.i think u guys are too quick to point out any wrong the president has done even when he has done nothing.its better u wait for the outcome of his meeting with them before jumping into conclusions. |

Remarkable: I would have loved to see "major" projects like the seaport and perhaps using his powers to get industries and investments both local and foreign into the area....
there are indeed beneftis enjoyed by the area by virtue of his position (schools, barracks, etc); all i was saying is that he seemed like he didn't want to make any obvious moves that will raise people's eyebrows that he was biased... which is to your point exactly that he was called the most tribalistic president, when we can argue the North got more than the SS region, depending on how you look at things. so that is the reason I say he should have gone all out to further lift the former eastern region into higher levels of economic development; and then damn the consequences if they wanna call him names.
There is an Igbo saying that if I am called a frog-eater when I have never eaten a frog... when I am about to eat one, I will make sure that I eat a big, fat juicy one. pls can you tell us what he did for the north. |
