OPCNAIRALAND: ...add Amnesty payments! ....and they continue to grieve about Yorubaland, even though Yoruba was GROWN before the oil and its growth will not stop after the oil. Who was Ijaw before oil? With their oil, who are they now or where will they be when the oil dries?
Militancy is Ijaw way of life, thats their IGR. As it was demonstrated few days ago that Yorubaland has zero tolerance for foreign invasion, one can only hope that Ijaw does not end up like the Igbos, or worse....and they are able to recover sense and realign their interests ahead of their rights, instead of the other way around. And NDDC too.... They are reaping left and right, but nothing to show. Alams as the governor of BAYELSA, nothing to show Jona as the governor of BAYELSA, nothing to show Dixon, nothing to show Ibori stole them dry and he's in jail Odili, nothing to show, EFCC case still pending Uduaghan, N700 billion debt, nothing to show Akpabio was the richest governor in Nigeria with the largest budgets even more than Lagos state, but he did not complete more than 4 projects apart from the few roads and fly over. Akwa ibom can not pay salary today.. Now they are sponsoring terrorists to blow up and destroy their land .. News flash, diversification is in effect, every investment entering Nigeria is heading to the SW and the new 12 power plants Fashola just initiated are all solar so the days of needing gas for power plants is almost over and you can not blow up the sun. The North is going back to agric full time and looking for oil too The SE is still manufacturing and commissioning hatred and bigotry as usual as their only mission in life.. SS is blowing up their future. We know how this story is going to end and we know who are going to be the losers.... |

Izonpikin: I am not a gej till 2019 kid ,rather I am a Niger deltan(an ijaw boy/man precisely) who is tired of the nigerian system...
Nobody is better than anybody in this country...We've all been fools...The only ones who would end up better are those who can free themselves from the structure this wicked country is running..and that is what I am trying to drive through your head....hiding behind tinubus shokoto won't save you...come out and castigate policies...I guess you're one of those who stood under the sun to vote for an old man without certificate when you had better options from the south west...inferiority complex Delta state has the largest debt in Nigeria @N700 billon. That's almost 300 billion more than Lagos, but you can not show us 1 single thing they did with that huge debt and that's un top of igr, allocations and derivations.. All the states in that region owe salary from here to eternity, but Tinubu who has nothing to do with your misery is your problem and headache.....see stupidity miss road.. |

Izonpikin: gej was never my problem...Nigeria is..Nigeria is in shambles and so has it affected your thoughts to always feel when sane people make objective comments you think they are supporters of gej or whoever...
I knew you were a waste pipe who would vote an old certificateless man...are you not a fool??...see why I call you a slave from the start?.only a slave thinks the way you do...
I am telling you to free yourself from the likes of tinubu and fight for your freedom but no an olodo like you can't think...gosh GEJ the stealing is not corruption loser destroyed Nigeria and he's not your problem, but Tinubu who is not responsible for your life, who is not a public official or in any elected office or poaaition to even make any law or policy affecting your life is your problem.... Talk about the apex of idiocy and absurdity... |

hunndredhundred: While I agree that my Igbo brothers should seriously start thinking eastwards, I must say that there is something fundamentally wrong with these yorubas.
These people will sell land to you and turn around to complain that igbos are taking their lands. pray tell, which single parcel of land has been taken from the Yorubas by force by the Igbos?
Igbos pay fully for every single parcel of land owned by us in Lagos. We pay for the land, pay all the family members that jump out from different angles, settle omonile settle agberos and owomida boys. These yorubas will chop finish, clean mouth and turn around to start grumbling like vultures saying Igbos are taking their lands.
Who forced them to sell lands in the first place? Open a thread on Bia.fra now and see them jumping around shouting 'You can never get your Bia.fra' yet they will not allow Igbos to rest.
While I agree that we should drop all these traditional title nonsense outside Igboland, I must say that something is wrong with the Yorubas honestly. You are not taking any land because the land doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the people of Lagos state. Your C of C is a lease which is subject to revocation or refusal of renewal at the end of your lease. During June 12th without any threat against ibo people, they voluntary pack their load and formed exodus back to their villages so we don't have to chase you or take anything from you in case of any National disruptions, you know how to voluntary leave everything behind and run for your dare lives and on top of that, there shouldn't be any problem for revocation of C of C of your leases or just let it expire and reject any renewal.. You people are too longer throat and shortsighted for our own good.. |

TheFreeOne: Abuja will become subject of negotiations cos it's the federal capital and not a northern state.
Their oil you say I don't want to call you a clown but you need to realize there are major international oil companies involved in ND who would have to decide on whose side they'll belong cos as investors recouping their investment is paramount. Just like Lagos state too right? |

obailala: I agree Buhari has shown unbelievable immaturity in the way he's reciprocating the passionate 'love' most Igbos have for him; however besides appointments, I am yet to be convinced of this alleged hatred in terms of developmental projects, be it from the 80's or in the recent dispensation. ibo people have passionate love for PMB? You are obviously confusing hate with love This is the biggest joke ever in the history of mankind... Only on NL... |

The bridge is still shinning today because of proper maintenance that the Money generated is funding and at the same time funding other major projects all over Lagos state.. |

Lifestone: I will continue to ask what exactly were GEJ achievements in South East to have deserved the cult support he receives in the region. For a road as crucial as Enugu Onitsha Road to have been left undone amounts to GEJ's betrayal of SE (also the non completion of the 2nd Niger Bridge).
South East should do a soul searching, and change the illusion of goodness they thought they had during the GEJ administration. Unfortunately, their support for GEJ has nothing to do with GEJs competence, the good things they benefited from him or because of their love for Nigeria because we all know GEJ didn't do anything for them and he still don't care about that region even after leaving office. Their support for that man remains about hatred and bitterness against the North and the SW and also because they don't have any worthy local leader or role model to look up to. Or how do you explain the ridiculous support and noise for the same man Nigerians unanimously kicked out of office, a man who did nothing for you, a man who his own ijaw people have denounced openly as a failure and have moved on. |

StOla: I will be interested in what Okonjo Iweala has to say about this huge earnings not spent on infrastructure or better welfare for the citizenry. They made so much money that they even told us to start getting ready for austerity and suffering when oil was $74/PB.. So, if $74 means suffering and austerity, what's next @ $30-40/BP. Major suffering... They bleeped us up big time.. |
