Good day mamas. Please o! I was the one that insisted my wife weans our 1yr 2mths boy. She's been doing it gradually but now her b.reas.ts are so engorged and the pain is unbearable. She googled and found out she could pump the milk away. This however stimulates production and it prolongs the whole thing. Please what other measure/method can be advised.

he is all better now. Even babbling sef. I discontinued the antibiotics. I no fit shout abeg.

Didn't give him the drugs this morning and he is strong and sucking well. Will be back to the hospital this evening

Good morning mums
right now I'm at a total loss of what to do. Im so sad and depressed.
My 8wk old started purging about a week ago or so I thought. Went to the hospital and was given amoxicilin though there was no fever. The frequency of poop reduced for two days and started again on Sunday.
I went to a paediatrician this time. He saw the poop and said it was actually normal but ordered a full blood count nd malaria test.
After the results he prescribed an antibiotic and antimalarial. My boy has been vomiting, dull and sleeping all day since he started taking these drugs. In fact he seemed a lot healthier before the drugs.
He is onEBF. Should I stop the drugs and hope that whatever bug he has will go away on its own?

As it say's. no-one knows what time flame God gave all His authority over to His Son Jesus-It's only the bible that can show us any where about's when and where it stared to come into existence, because no-one knew not even the angels.
What is so amazing His authority still stands in word and in truth-and every believer who believes shares His authority from the bottom of our hearts, "like you" Until His second coming when only the Father knows.

When the woman at the creche told me my son finished his food. I doubted her cos na me born am,he has never finished a packet of indomie 1day @ home. He did'nt last 5days der,stopped taking him 2 creche...till i get a better place.

Have you taken him for check up? Cold shouldn't take that long to go o. Or is it an on and off thing?
For d breastmilk, don't use too much o, just express small in a container, I use d dropper in paracetamol bottle to suck small milk, tilt d head a little n drop. Wait a few sec, turn baby's head down so excess fluid can run out.
Warm bath does d magic too.
Try and get the olbas oil, its very effective

Incase she can't get saline drops, breastmilk is equally good. Dunno why but my nasal suction never worked! Had to use my mouth to suction.
Olbas oil is so on point, it'll clear the airways.

N:B: Sis u cant really rule out bacterial pneumonia u know. D doc checked the baby not us

It wasnt thick oh. She eats at the creche as i was told, but with me - it's a no no. she just wants to play with every part of my body then when she is sleepy she'd just take little breastmilk and doze off.

Oh u make da little everytime, I get it now. By cooking, I mean the way pap is cooked, cos you didn't mention anything about cooking

Please, please, please and please, if you make your tombrown yourself, can you give a detailed description of how you make it? I bought groundnut, soybeans and crayfish only to discover there is another type that requires millet and Co. Please help out, thanks.
