I have come to return all glory and praise to God Almighty for working His wonders, for doing His things His own way. After bleeding profusely for 3 good weeks, praying to God, even my hubs told my gynea to kukuma abort this wonderful foetus of mine so that his wife can rest. But I held on to my faith and I kept declaring that my baby is safe in this beautiful and warm womb of mine. God did it. I stopped bleeding 2days ago, went for scan today and was amazed at how visible, cute and big (it was just a small dot the last time I was at the scan center) this beautiful unborn child of mine is. My OS is closed, as in them use super glue jam the thing together . My bp is soooo normal that my gynea ask me weda I dey think anything at all for this my life . Devil ntooorrrrr .
We are 11wks and 4days today... I bless God for all of you mamas, you don't know what this thread means to most of us. Bring it on morning sicki, I'm ever ready for you , iranu ....

My dear GTC mamas, really have no fear. If I can bleed for 3 good weeks with better clot and still have my baby intact this early in this journey cos God willed it so, just know that He hasn't forgotten you at all. Whatever be the problem, it is not difficult for my Jehovah Jireh, the Alpha and the Omega to take charge.
Looking at this scan picture, I'm using this baby of mine as a point of contact towards all of you and I'm saying you are blessed. Your fruit must spring forth cos it's your birthright, in Jesus name, Amen.

I was planning to register for ANC in one private hospital near my House since we are 11wks+ and Leboo no let me rest on top FTM, I went there yesterday and I was told to go do scan o, on my way back from church dis morning I decided to branch a lab in my area and after d scan I checked result and saw A GRAVID UTERUS CONTAINING A LIVE FETUS OF DIAMETER 86.1MM

I just told d man e be like say d machine no dey work o cos d scan I did ard 4wks ago(order by my gynea) was 7wks+ so how come 8wks now,
d guy just eye me and said all he can say is baby is well formed and so no problem but make I come back for another scan 18th of June.

I stood up dust my yansh and decided to go another lab I normally use and there d result read

Good afternoon mamas. So I kinda want to know how those of you that have given birth before went about naming your children because the way wey me and DH dey go, this thing na him go cause our first major quarrel for this marriage o. Let me give a little background info: I'm from Delta State, family of four. Dh is from Imo state, family of 9. Me second born, Dh last born. Me and my siblings both have our native names and English names. We bear English names in school and native names at home. On Dh's part, none of them has English name. My FIL is a konk traditionalist that believes white people came to enslave blacks so him no give any of him children English name. Na him DH bring gist say none of him children go get English name. Huh?? At this time?? I tell am say she bi you know say them be "OUR" children and their mom has English name. Infact, Dh knew me by my English name for a long time before he knew my native name and switched to that. I suggested that he brings the native name, I bring the English name, my parents bring one name and his parents bring the last name. If all the names enter birth certificate, we go put am like that. He said no, no English name and that even if he agrees to English name, the name he brings will be the child's first name and the name his father brings will be the child's second name. I replied and said, yeah e be like say time don reach for either you or your father to come and collect this pregnancy and carry it for the remaining months since you people has more right to this child than me the mother. I would have said more but I counted one to 10 (like I usually do when I'm angry) and I went to bed. So please people, how did you guys go about your child's naming formulae because it doesn't make sense to me to have more than one native name. Will a child be bearing Chioma at home and Chinelo at school? Does that make sense? How many people who have more than one native name has made use of it? Truth is I'm not willing to back down from this so how do I make him see things from my own point of view? Thank you for your contributions.

Please follow me and thank God for a safe delivery of my handsome baby boy. The light of my life!

He was born at 8.44am, today the 9th of January 2017! And he weighs 3.7kg. I was given a tear for him to come out.

He swallowed some fluid when he was coming out so he's having difficulty breathing on his own. He's on oxygen and antibiotics now. As soon as he is stabilized, I'll send a pix.

His name is Ilan for short meaning we rejoice. Full name is Ilankinan meaning we rejoice in the Lord

I'll share bs as soon as I'm strong.

And God said be and it was. My wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy today 08.01/2017 at about 5:20pm. He's name is Urwa--The firm, strong and upright one. To every woman or man reading this, may Almighty God grant u daughters and sons that will be the coolness of your eyes. aameen.

Here is my bs house

I was given 3 diff edd on which I prefer to birth on the 1st of January. fast forward to dec, I got to my ob gyn he told me dat the preggie is measuring 2weeks ahead dat i should go for scan and come and give him the report. When I got to scan center the woman was like you can't be birthing in Jan you probably forgot your your lmp, your new date is Dec 25th.

On 23rd of Dec I was cleaning the house when the contraction started. Note I've always been induced for my previous babies I don't know how normal contraction is.
So I waited to 24th in the afternoon before calling the person dat would take me to the hospital. On getting to the hospital i was measuring 5cm already and I was so happy dat i will soon meet my boy. 4hrs later I was checked 7cm and I was like what? Though I didn't feel any pain cos I was given epidural, by 9pm I was still 8cm and I was getting tired already cos lying down waiting for my baby was not interesting. By 10pm my baby heartbeat started dropping and all the nurses and doc were confused on what could be the cause. So I was told to sign for cs immediate I developed fever I started shivering and they were calming me down to be strong for my boy, immediately I was placed on oxygen and when they noticed I was talking to my husband they quickly took me to the theatre, in 15min my baby was brought out and I was stitched for another 15min.

In all I give glory to the almighty cos it was discovered that there is a cord around my baby's neck and the more I push the more the cord tighten the baby neck. I'm alive, my baby is alive also, I ve every reason to be happy.

So technically your last period was in July? None in august, September, October? Just go for a scan first they will be able to tell when you most likely conceived.

Same thing for me. But I went to the hospital and they did a scan. I think I was 9 weeks then. The scan showed my EDD and that's what I have been holding on to.

Most hospitals in UK do a scan from 8 weeks to 10 weeks called dating scan to get an approximate EDD. That is the most accurate scan.

It's not a stupid question at all. A dating scan usually done around 10-12 weeks should give you a fairly accurate date.

I have the same irregular period so I don't have an LMP. My aunt had her 5 babies via C section and she is still very strong. This was in the 70s and 80s so I believe that it should be better now. When I spoke with my doctor about it, he said he usually tells patients to make 5 the limit. Although 4 is best.

Don't panic at all. my sil had 4 CSes (☺☺) and they were all successful. Carry ur baby happily... it ll end in praise eventually.

I have seen two cases.One is actually my friend, 3 CS with one Child due to Preeclampsia issues.Now she is expecting another child.

I have a menstral circle that is irregular.. some times comes after 2 months or so. dis time around, it has failed me. I discovered I am pregnant yesterday. I have had 3 ceasereans and it means dis will also be another CS. pls has any one had a forth CS? what is the limit to having a CS? abeg, share ur experience with a sister.



@arihodo, I kn sm1 dat hd cs 5times and shes hale and hearty. Though bodies differs.
im presently pregnant now with my 2nd pregnancy whc I kn its deffinately gonna b cs bcus initially, I had miscarriage due to fibroid so I had myomectomy, I took in after 3months, had my baby boy last Sept thru cs. Im pregnant now whc I kn I'll hv d baby thru cs.
it all dependsvon yr body system but at d same time, u shld hv considered dat its gonna b d 4th time foru.

I have witnessed a woman give birth to her fourth via Cs and fourth time Cs as well!

What am concerned about is the spacing between your last pregnancy and this one! However it's no big deal as long as your doctor's are very aware of your history and submit yourself to their care! All will go well.

The lady Im talking about did a hysterectomy after her baby was brought out! She claims she doesn't want to take any chance of having a failed contraceptive in the future.

Just work with your doctor's and all will be well. Congrats .
