Business To Business / Re: Buying Wholesale Goods In Lagos Made Easy. by Arizona1: 1:23pm On Mar 20, 2016
ShopAffordables:
Hello Businesslanders,
I felt it will be really necessary for us to form a great whatsapp group for us to do business together.
I am based in Lagos and am into supply of gift items, agro products and interior decors.
There are several other business opportunities everywhere in Nigeria and I believe forming a strong Legitimate group with serious minded individuals on this forum will help alot in meet other people for new business opportunities.

The idea of this group is to ensure a condusive business atmosphere whereby members can work closely with each other to help one another achieve success. For example a lot of people will like to get most of their supplies from Lagos because of the cheaper prices but having the time to travel to Lagos might become a barrier for them thereby making them go for other options which might not give the kind of profit they really wanted. With this in mind, this group will also partner with reliable and trusted logistics company in this forum so as to bridge this gap and ensure that if any member wants make purchases for goods in Lagos and find it difficult to travel down, the logistics company can stand as a guarantor to ensure you get yours goods and make payments through them to your seller.

I will stop here for now to hear what you people think about this then I will give further information on how we intend to make sure that everyone involved in this should be a legitimate business person.

This is a very idea. Let us come together and form network for business. My company is VicZona Ventures, it's registered under CAC. WeWe are into supply of all kinds of products or items to our clients. We are into product sourcing, manufacture's representation and general contracts. So this will be nice as I can easily get supplies from people here for my clients. Am interested.

@arizona. Which one do buyers buy most, the leather strap, or the chain strap type of wristwatch ?
Well no particular type I can say that moves more than d other. It depends on the person and purpose. People buy diff types of watches for diff purposes or attires so it depends. The point there is that even someone who does not like leather, there's a kind of leather watch he or she will see, he will be so attracted that he will buy it. Just make sure you have nice watches whether chain or leather, they will move.

op nice info . pls how much is okay to start it?
You can start with any any amount aside the ones you use to do ur display box, say from N30k depending on d size of your display box(show glass). If you buy watches of about N700k to N1000 each with N30k you'll have about 30 watches in your show glass box and as God may do it if you are in a nice location and also know how to attract your customers, you're in good business.

@Arizona...thanks for this vital information .

Pls, Does the female wristwatches sell more than the male Wristwatch ?
You know women and their colour things. Yes female watches sell more than male watches but you must have them in diff colours, diff designs, very fashionable and attractive and also not that expensive. Good thing about women is that some of them will give you idea of what you'll bring and sell to them and what they say is also what most women buy. If you promise them you'll get it they will come back later unlike men.

MrJohnAgbo:
But do you think it is encouraging to buy now online from abroad considering the exchange rate?
Yes, you can still buy online and sell just that due to high exchange rate your prices will be a bit higher. Even if you to Idumota to buy, the exchange rate affects them too because they also import.

Thanks for the info..............

Where and how much can i get original chronograph and tachymeter wrist watch ?
you can get it in same Idumota dou they may be scarce and very expensive. You can as well check them online.
In this watch business it's not only from Idumota Lagos that you can get your products. You can buy online as well and they will deliver to your door step within few weeks. It you are buying on demand maybe for a client, you can ship via DHL or FEDEX and your product will land within 7days.
I will drop some sites I have bought watches from here later with my master card, no issues.

Business / Steps On How To Start Wristwatch Biz by Arizona1: 7:21pm On Feb 19, 2016
Hello my people, I want to share this piece with all of us who maybe have been looking for a business to start up with little capital and earn a living with it.
Many a times we come across some blogs or some people selling to you e-books listing 101 businesses you can start up with zero or no capital and when you check such businesses you’ll find out that some of them are not realistic.
It’s true you can start up a business or do business with no capital except the money you’ll need for running around, but most businesses which you can rely on, grow , expand and turn to PLC needs good investment before it grows if not you’ll hustling to make another person rich. Anyway this is a topic I will discuss later after explaining the wrist watch business and other businesses .

People wear watches and buy watches everyday but due to the fact that you are not into the business, you’ll think the business do not move. A lot of people are making good money from watch business more than you can think of. The only thing there is that it is not “getrichquick” business if that is what you are thinking but it is a business you can earn good living with and grow in it.

Now into the business.
There are three to four categories of wrist watches; we have Originals, Semi Originals, Fair and the fakes. As a matter of fact most people sell Semi originals as Originals and you can never spot the difference if you see them. These semi original watches even last for long time which gets you convinced that what you bought is the original wrist watch.
The fair ones are those ones you know that they are not original but you feel you just want to buy it or wear that brand to serve you for a while as maybe you’ve not saved much to spend on a watch and they last long if you use them carefully except the golden ones that will start washing after a short period .
Then the fake ones are those one that you’ll buy and they’ll stop working after two days.
The fair watches cost between N500 to N2000 while the semi originals can cost between N2000 to N4000. Originals can cost much higher than semi originals depending on the make and type so you can decide on the category to go into though people buy more of fair and semi original because of countries condition.

Steps On How to start this business? (Remember we are talking of the way you can start in a small scale but still make good earnings from it)

1*Look for a busy place like market, in front of shopping mall, bus stops where you can situate and display your watches in a glass cupboard (Show glass). You can even negotiate with some shop owners who are in a busy place to allow you stay in front of their shops while you pay monthly dues.

2* Build a show glass; A carpenter can do it for you with beautiful design to make it look attractive. Depending on the size, you can use btw N10,000 to N20,000 to build one.

3* Proceed to Idumota to buy your products (your watches). They also call the market Jankara Market. There you have so many wholesalers of wrist watches of different types, brands, categories etc. You already know the category and the amount you want to start with then you’ll start sourcing for ones to buy. Try to make one or two customers there that you’ll always buy your market from because they will always tell you many things about the business which will help you to grow an sell more. Make sure you buy fanciful watches which will attract people and buy many of the semi Originals and you can mix them with “Fair” ones.

4* The last step you’ll take is to shade your products and start selling. You display in your show glasses for people to start buying. This business is as simple as it’s written here and you can make N3000 profit and more everyday as long as you have fine and fashionable watches to sell. A watch you bought from your customer at Idumota for about N700 can be sold for N1500 or N2000 and even more depending on the bargaining power of the customer whether leather or chain. So if you sell 5 watches a day only with a profit of N700 to N1000, you know you are in business.

I don’t see reasons why a lot of people especially our youths will be into some fraudulent activities in the name of lack of money.

Please people who need and want to go into this business should digest and whoever that has question should throw it to the house.
Also if you have something to add as well, kindly do so. We are here to help one another.
I’ll be dropping some other business ideas later.

May God bless our handworks………

This twitter uncommon sense senator has become a nuisance on twitter. His constituency elected him to represent them in the hallow chambers, but the twitter senator has chosen to be a troll on twitter.
Ben Bruce is a disgrace to all sane senators. He should tell us how he managed NTA when he was the boss. Abi isn't Ben Bruce the same person that stole from NTA coffers to finance his silverbird TV and rhythm FM? The twitter senator should stop deceiving himself. We know he is a thief so he shouldn't take us for fools. lolx I'm sure the very people hailing this man can't afford to buy common porncorn in any of his cinemas.

Ben Bruce should do what his people elected him to do instead of picking fights with every jack and Jill on twitter. At the end of the day, his twitter rantings won't be use to measure his achievements for his constituency. Mr Bruce is not the only senator that knows how to use social media nor is he the only senator in Nigeria.

He should concentrate on his job and leave twitter wailing for PDP minions and IPOb losers.

Thanks to GEJ for introducing BVN. Some people who don't know will say 'Sai Baba'. No, it is GEJ's making. Fighting corruption is not by locking only members of opposition in crates, you organise the institutions to block loope holes and corrupt people will expose themselves.
God bless GEJ.

This is arrant nonsense. It appears everything about Nigeria exudes stupidity. How did this joker carry $2m? How did she invest it since the order from the boss was to invest the fund? She does not need to change the money into naira to invest a fund belonging to a company. Does the company not have bank account? By the way, the central figure in this witch hunt is 400m naira not $2m.
Thank you for this observation. I don't believe the two witnesses are real. Besides apart from politics, Metu is a very reach man from all they inherited from their father, he's from Nnewi.

Hello house,
I want to start up a small recruitment agency.
From what I read about the business, I was meant to understand that you must choose a niche first before starting and I am looking at recruiting customer service, office assistants or cleaners, whichever one the terms will be easier to go by because I have good experiences on those three areas.
I have already registered a company but I want to get the framework for a standard recruitment agency in Nigeria, the necessary bodies or associations I’ll need to register with before I start.
Please anybody with valuable info on this should educate me

Family / My Wife Accuses Me Wrongly by Arizona1: 7:51am On Jun 25, 2015
Am having a problem of trust from my wife. She accuses me of having girl friends anytime she demands for money and I tell her to have patience. She listens to gossip a lot and believe what her friends and people tell her instead of what me her hubby tells her. I do everything for her and she does not work. The allegation got to d point that she threatnd she will do something very soon, she'll be the one making money and my job will go. So am confused coz I always stay @ home, help her with domestic work and take care of children coz we hav two kids and no house help. She pusHed me so hard that I slappd her one night and she took the kids and ran to her mother's house. Her mothr and sisters have been calling me and raining abuses on me,her youngr bro sent me a text that if something happens to her sister, he'll kill me. As a mattr of fact she always brings problem always att end of d month when I say she should calm down because of all we're sending @ home which she's part of but The money she's asking of is for her bro which she borrowd from him jus 3wks ago. Am getting tired of d whole thing and want to take my kids from her and leave her out of my life for now. Pls my people,I will welcome ur meaningful suggestions.

OP, I swear you're sicker than Shekau.

You have rushed to open a thread without knowing the details of the said bombing. Do you even know what prompted the bombing?.

Anyways, my question to you is, was there any civilian casualty?.

What they have done is in your interest. Yorubas will say "kekere la tin pe ka iroko, to ba d'agba tan, apa o ni ka". If such an action has been taken against BH, maybe, they would have been completely annihilated long time ago.

Use your sense.
Look at you, sentiments have not allowed you to reason with your brain. What is holding PMB from bombing his Boko boys? More than 200 innocent people have been killed by BH since Buhari took over and you see nothing wrong with it.
