it is too early to be asking for visa interview appointment, admission is still very much open for the 2018 summer session. Or have you been admitted for the session/ did you defer a previous session admission ?

2) The English proficiency document the University gave me bears the name of the school I told them I am sending it to. They requested that it bears the name of the school I am sending to. I told them its not just one school and they said if I am sending to more schools, it means more money. Do I need to remove the school name with an image tool. The school name is just on the left corner of the letter.

3)How do I pay the uniassist fees?

1. To certify your documents take it to any court around you. But if you stay in Lagos or Abuja, you can use the German consulate/embassy. Personally I used a barrister friend who helped me do the certification through the court.

2. You don't need to do anything criminal, try talk to your school to give you a generic letter That Won't bear the name of a particular university, even if it means paying them a little more. I was lucky to get a generic English proficiency exemption letter issued by my school by default and it was free.

3. I wouldnt Know how best to answer this. But you can try find someone(friend/family) that stays in Germany or Europe that can help you foot the bill. That's exactly what I did. Although they have other direct payment options as seen on their site. I don't think it's convenient for Nigerians

1) At what point do I need my documents to be certified. I just got a students copy of my transcript alongside other documents like my school certificate that I forward to various universities in Germany where I applied for masters in Biomedical Engineering for review. I just want to be sure I am getting this right.

2) Most of the Universities I applied for requests that if I can not make available the test of English language (TOEFL, IELTS), I can get a proof of English language proficiency from my school. Getting this document just for one school costs 10k. If I have up to 10 schools I am applying for, it means I have to pay 100k which I dont have. How do I go about this? Anyone in this situation, how did you sort it out?

3) One of the Universities I applied for requested that I apply at Uniassist (www.uni-assist.de) first before applying in the University. Anyone done this before? How does the Uniassist thing work.

Here are answers to your questions

1. You need to certify your documents before you send to uni-assist or any German university.

2. All you just need is 1 English language proficiency exemption letter from your school and certify copies of it and send to the various schools you want to apply to, with other required certified school document like to your transcript etc

3. Uni-assist is like a body that handle admission mostly for international students that want to study in germany. Most schools apply admission for international applicant through uni-assist(so I am surprised you were able to send to any school without some form of input first from uni-assist)

How uni-assist works is you first create an Account, after which you search for a study place. When you find a suitable study place(school) you then create an application on the school program you choose. Submit the necessary file online(at this point it doesn't need to be certified, but if it's certified it still isn't a problem) submit the final application online and go ahead and send in paper copies of same document(documents here are document requested by the school as prerequisite for admission. So check required doc from school program site) uploaded online.

Note that cost of application through uni-assist is 75euro for the first application for a session and 15 Euro for each additional application. These money need to be paid before your application is attended to.

The gross injustice perpetrated by our public office holders is too much, it has to stop. Public offices must be run with sincerity void of sentiment. For PSC they have messed up, am sure it is not their first time, but certainly it will be the beginning great cleansing of the corrupt PSC.
The change this administration promise is not this, those corrupt personnels in the PSC must be fish out and punished to disencourage further repeat.

The psc is not your major problem, your politicians are your problem. they are the one's that hijacked the process. I can tell u here that alot of top police officers couldn't even influence the list... ur politicians are the ones that influence all the change in that list and no police officer can object for fear of losing their positions.

This date might be feasible because the cadets in jos are still waiting to start receiving their allowee and they were told it would be after the reserve/supplementary have reported to camp and completed their screening.

"soon" is the only explanation to what I don't av control over. An agreement would av been reached by Thursday last week but it wasn't possible, we hoped they would conclude this week that just ended today yet the arrangement was disturbed... now u see y I say soon... any unforseen circumstances can push it further.. I don't make decisions, it is until ogas at the top say yes.. But if am to say my mind I would say before this month ends.

pls take note, not all reserves will be called upon. It solely depends on the need for a replacement in your various states. if their is no need for a replacement in the selected names from your state then you won't be called upon.
