please gurus in the house!!!.... is it possible to get admission by applying with just 1st semester 100L transcript .....

or is it mandatory to wait and apply with both First and second semester's 100L transcripts?

Like schools that gives students access to apply by uploading their qualifications on their application portal.....I mean direct application by uploading the required documents into their admission portal....

I plan to do this once I'm done with Studienkolleg. There's a lot to write about it. I will do that once I'm done. I will be done by April ..

But I think I can shortly write about the procedure:

Please note that I'm not on student visa and I did my language course here in Germany from A1 to B2 before applying to Studienkolleg. B2 is better if you intend to attend Studienkolleg cause the entrance exam is B2/C1 Standard. Some Studienkollegs accept B1.

In my opinion B1 is not enough to pass the German entrance exam.

If you have your language certificate that's when you can now apply to any Studienkolleg of your choice. It's good to apply to many so you write multiple entrance exams and maybe you might be lucky to get into one.

You are not allowed to work while in Studienkolleg on student visa. You are only allowed to work during holidays....

Don't expect Studienkolleg to make you to be perfect in German. It doesn't!.

someone told me that the Embassy doesn't give out VISAS to those intending to learn the language over there in Germany...that the embassy prefer us learning the language over here in Nigeria...

Good day guys.

Few days back, i took the advice of being online around 11:59pm till 12am to book a student visa appointment. Luckily, around 12:01, i saw a date for the 1st of February. I quickly tried to fill in my detail and book it. Going to the next page, i found it blank. I then refreshed and was told something went wrong to my booking that maybe my browser had been on too long. I went back to the captcha page and after filling it in, i was told all the appointments had been booked. Dissapointed, i left.

Few minutes later, i got an email from the embassy in German confirming my booking and appointment on the 1st of February and asking me to print out the email when coming that day. I am yet to receive any English version.

My question now is, do i actually have that appointment now since they sent me that mail. I am confused.

Yes you pay the processing fee for every school/course you apply for...its 75euro for the first school/course and 30euro each for the rest schools/courses...so if u applying to three schools/courses..you pay 75+30+30euro=135euro

You will need to send the application form with the documents and you can get the application form only when the school application starts..

if am applying to 6 schools that request I go through Uni-assist.....am I going to send my documents 6 different times for the six different schools



secondly I heard we would certify our documents at the German embassy or High court...does this also relate to authentificating the documents at abuja at the Ministry of interior abi kini

nairalanders pls pray for me ..am enrolling for National Open University from January to procure the 100L transcript and also Goethe institute from next year January.... I hope the Timing would work as for me to achieve the transcript and Language certificate B1 before application start September/October for Winter semester.....






as I would be overlooking April/may/June/July application for summer semester...

Nairalanders please I was almost done with applying and paying the application fee only for me to hear I won't be grañted visa because my Waec is over 8 years....A BSc course

You have to get your documents ready before you start your applications. And most schools will ask for proof of English proficiency.

University of Kiel will be starting their application on the 16th of November. University of Bremen 1st January, University of Jena 1st January as well.
