The AFBA President, Hannibal Uwaifo, said that the action of the security agents was a violation of the principles of the rule of law and tenets of separation of power.

“The AFBA demands the immediate release of all detained judges and judicial officers, the stoppage of further invasion of their homes under any guise and strict obedience to the rule of law.
Can these corrupt kabukabu associations please tell us what part of the Nigerian law or constitution that says law reinforcements in Nigeria can not arrest judges..

I am firmly against corruption but do not support the 'show of force' against the judges. As a matter of fact, I don't think law enforcement agencies should ever use force against anyone except the suspect resists arrest. That being said, I find it hard to understand why the DSS adopt the commando style arrest in the middle of the night when they could have extended an invitation to these judges like they do to the politicians.

Also, it is not a crime to keep money at home, it is only a crime if the money is the product of an illegal transaction. That being said, I still support the fight against corruption but only within the dictates of the law.
Stop deceiving yourself, you love corruption because your rant made no sense.

Law enforcements areasting criminal suspects is stamdaed everywhere on the surface of the earth so why should it be different in Nigeria.?

In the USA where you copy copy and borrowed democracy from, the FBI corruption unit arrest and prosecute corrupt judges everyday.

The funny thing about this your judicial "sanitisation" is that the case will still be decided by the judiciary. After the gestapo action by the DSS they will still come to court. There is corruption across the three levels of governance. Buhari's chief of staff has been clearing grass for over N270M,te mindless rigging of the edo election etc The executive is also guilty of influencing judges. It has been using judges like the shameless Okon Abang to destabilize the PDP

The fact that you and your kind are mentally corrupt and you love and support corruption is already an established fact so stop trying to re confirm it with your odious and unintelligent rant.

Nigerians will recover their country from your brothers ,NJC or no NJC. This is a serious indictment on you, Mr CJN and as a matter of fact, you lack what it takes to lead the NJC . These obscene culture of paying judges retired or suspended for committing crimes will be resisted vehemently. Corrupt judges must be jailed you can keep your paddy paddy NJC. Shiorr.

The whole judicial bribery and corruption thing is a racket that's been going on for decades so the CJ acting clueless is shameless and insulting.

Fact is, they are all part of the game, they know who is collecting what from who and many people beyond the bribed judge gets paid all the way to the leadership of NBA and the CJ hence always looking the other way and refusing to sanction sack corrupt judges.

Without the British judicial and law enforcement institutions, Ibori won't be in Jail today because the same corrupt judges practically gave the judiciary to Ibori to be his own judge and court. Ibori was calling the shots and delivering his own get out of jail judgement.

This judicial sanitation exercise is the best thing ever in the history of Nigeria.

So, based what you've written up there, the Judges are terrorists and potential threats to national security. Do you really believe that? So, in this case, the DSS is the right agency to employ in investigating and arresting the Judicial chiefs for bribery?

What happened to liaising with the judicial regulatory body? What happened to EFCC doing their job? What happened to due process and rule of law?

Thank you for trying to explain, but do you really believe your explanation?

You guys are ignorantly entrenching despotism in Nigeria.
You don't have to be a terrorist to be a threat to national security.

The question was how corruption affects national security and I gave you many examples per how corrupt acts by public officials affects national security.

And I'm really not interested in the rest of your pointless and irrelevant essay.

Even the government of Kenya and many European countriesdeclared corruption as a national security threat.

I don't even know why people like you support and sympathize with corrupt people. They shared their loot with your?

Interesting. How so? Please, explain.
Many former service chiefs were arrested for corruption, looting of arms funds budgeted for our military, weapons and welfare, but the services chiefs did nit buy weapons and the little they bought were substandard and not enough for our military to combat Boko Haram which allowed Boko Haram to commandeer Nigerian territory, local governments and almost entire states..

When corrupt people like the service chiefs loot public funds which threaten national security, we rely on the judiciary to adjudicate their cases and stipulate deterrence, but looters with billions have more than enough money to buy judges who in turn let the looting service chiefs go free to continue looting and keep denying our military men effective capacity to defend us and preserve our national security.

And what the the service chiefs did with the looted funds? They did exactly what the corrupt judges did, stash the money, buy mansions and live like big boys while the men and women protecting Nigeria go unpaid and left on the battlefield without weapons to defend Nigeria with.

With corruption, you can bribe custom men to let you drive into Nigeria, fly into Nigeria or import into Nigeria harmful and destructive materials to threaten our National security with.

It's very easy to keep going on and on with so many examples how corruption threaten our national security.

The judiciary is the last institution standing to protect us from corrupt people, criminals and unsavory elements so with corrupt judiciary taking bribes and refusing to issue deterrence, we are doomed, we are wide open and defenseless.

They are to tackle issues of national security, not embark on acts of impunity against constituted civil authority, like arresting Judges on suspicion of bribery. They should be busy with Boko Haram, Niger Delta Avengers and other internal threats to national security.

Only in Nigeria crooks have phone numbers of crooked and corrupt judges who can issue perpetual injunctions to make sure cases never see the light of any day forever and ever.

The crooks know the judges and and they go to the same set of corrupt judges to evade the law and spend looted funds freely without fear of prosecution or prison..

Corruption is really the least of our worries, the judiciary is really our primary problem before corruption.

Lagos residents want provision of public toilets on highways

Some residents of Lagos on Friday called on the State Government to provide public toilets on the highways and other strategic locations in the metropolis, for the convenience of the people.

Those who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) identified such strategic locations and highways to include the Apapa/Oshodi/Oworonshoki expressway, the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, the Ikorodu road, the Lagos/Abeokuta road and the Lekki/Epe expressway.

A pregnant woman, Mrs Ngozi Eberesim, who wanted to make urine on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, particularly pleaded for mobile toilets along public highways, to help commuters in traffic.
Eberesim, who said she was returning from an ante-natal appointment, said that she could not hold back her urine due to her condition and had to urinate in the open.

“I am I just coming from the hospital and I have been in traffic for over an hour.

“I had to beg the bus driver to stop, so I can quickly urinate on the road side.

“Because of my condition, I urinate often and it is dangerous for me to hold back my urine.

“Let the government build toilets at strategic points, especially for people like me, who may be experiencing a similar problem,’’ she said.

NAN reports that at the same spot, a commercial bus driver, who also urinated by the road side, said that because of traffic jams, he had been hard pressed and left with no choice than to relieve himself of the urine.

The driver, simply identified as Sunday, said public toilets should be made available, at leas

Wendell Simlin: American woman accuses Reno Omokri of identity theft

An American woman has accused President Goodluck Jonathan’s special assistant on New Media, Reno Omokri, of impersonation and identity theft.

Mr. Omokri had used the now infamous moniker, Wendell Simlin, in his attempt to link the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lamido Sanusi, to the terrorist group Boko Haram.
Back in February 2014, Mr. Omokri wound up in a scandal after digital footprint of an article that tried to link the spike in Boko Haram attack to the suspension of Mr. Sanusi as CBN governor was traced to him.
Mr. Omokri allegedly used the pseudonym, Wendel Simlin, in the article circulated to bloggers and journalists but the document digital signature was identical to previous documents Mr. Omokri had sent to PREMIUM TIMES.

The Califonia- based woman, Deborah Campbell, told Sahara Reporters in a series of emails and telephone conversation that her son, based in Hercules, California, is the real Wendel Simlin.
She explained that she is married to Mr. Omokri’s brother-in-law and that the president’s aide exploited the relationship to perpetrate forgery.
