There are some of my postings also before July 14 on this issue. Before INEC official announcement, I advised Chief Olanipekun (SAN) on nairaland not to continue or represent APC in any legal matter over Edo election even if Obaseki has no GCE A' Level result and the degree has discrepancies from other degrees issued by UI. Few hours later, congratulatory messages started coming from APC leadership both official and unannounced personal congratulatory messages to Obaseki from APC leaders.

Edo is a PDP state. APC has never won major election in Edo, Oshiomhole only used ruggedness to rig APC into Edo. Under Obaseki, Buhari lost in Edo, APC also lost two Senatorial seats to PDP.

The last election is mainly between PDP, Obaseki and those oppose to Tinubu and Oshiomhole within APC. It was not an election between APC and PDP but a battle between forces within APC and PDP on PDP fortified territory and Oshiomhole who knows the territory very well has run out of ammunitions and men because of internal wars within APC.

firstly most of apc supporters especially those ones on nairaland and other platforms are too naive to know what's going on in their own party.

I was one of those that was not surprised with the victory of Obaseki because I analysed and predicted it here myself the moment Oshiomole was ousted but APC supporters where too naive to see things and reality.
let me tell you something, you can't outst a party national chairman without the full approval of the president but till today some APC supporters still don't believe that buhari has hand in the displacement of Oshiomole.
I said also that Buhari will not deploy federal might in Edo for apc unlike how he did it for Amaechi in Rivers even though apc was not in the ballot.
those that masterminded Oshiomole's outing can never give him a recovery chance that's why they don't have plans going to court.
just like Rochas said, there's nothing like apc again the only thing left for the party is their logo.
a serious war is going on within the party which are CPC faction vs ACN faction and as you can see CPC faction is gradually gaining ground and gradually displacing ACN faction and unfortunately Buhari is loyal to CPC faction.

The problem APC is facing right now is the neutrality of Buhari in the party.

Either Rufai or Zulum. Both are undeniable performers, with El Rufais candidacy only dented by the security issues in Kaduna, notwithstanding it predates his administration.

One can't deny how adept PDP's is at propaganda. They'd try to leverage on the security crisis to taint the ticket and make it unsellable.

If that snag can be nipped in the bud before '23, then it would be a walkover for APC.
