I have no issues with helping friends and family once in a while. But I had to learn the hard way. I experienced this too. Sending money back home isn't that easy living in the Western countries. Heavy tax and bills to pay before or on every month end.
Friends who know you are abroad will tax you, family will tax you, and at the end of the day you are trying to work for more money for what ? Same routine by sending money back home.
