I have see this guy before on Ikorodu road. I use to wonder then who brings him around because he looks really blind. I also think his dressing would make him stand out from other beggars and it would make pple pity him more thereby giving him money.

RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Makes Me Cry by ArseQPR(m): 7:57pm On Apr 21, 2008
The truth is that girls are more matured than guys of the same age. So when both are 25 and about to graduate, the girl is thinking of marriage while the guy wants to get a job and leave his parents house. The thing is, girls want marriage and guys want independence. You guys need to talk about you relationship. The guy should give the girl assurance about his love for her because at this stage in a girl's life, she wants to be loved and assured and if the guy could not give it the irl would leave.

You have to balance your options as a girl because leaving him would mean wasting 4 years of your life and at the same time if you think you are not getting what you want from him, well its gonna be his loss. The thing is guys are always miserable when their girls leave them after years of a relationship.

You need to talk to him and let him see things from your view from the thins you guys planned and if you sense to changes, well you decide,
RomanceRe: Nairalanders! Abeg Help Me Ohhhhhhhhh! by ArseQPR(m): 7:23pm On Apr 21, 2008
Sometimes, the hymen could be broken without having a penetration (either sex or with fingers). This happens is ladies who are very active physically eg sportwoman or of such sort. So this ma explain the reason she told you she was a virgin. On the other hand, she may have deceived you as ladies could do anything to get a cool husband material. But after al said, you could still know if the hymen had been broken but never had sex because she would feel a slight disconfort the first time having sex. Do not be ruled by your emotions for virgins. As you were not a virgin when you met her so why bother, wink
BusinessRe: You Have Money And You Need Business Ideas? by ArseQPR(m): 3:38pm On Apr 21, 2008
This is kinda cool cos I am in such a state as well. Starting a biz I think would involve you having a knowledge of the area you want to have ur biz. This could be a money saving idea cos as a starter you would have to do loads of things for yourself to reduce overheads. A deep knowledge of the area of biz must be known like the back of your hands.

One biz I am sure would never run out of customers in Nigeria today is food biz. We cannot have enuf of it and there are areas here that needs competition.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Migrating Back To Nigeria From The Western World by ArseQPR(m): 12:38am On Feb 25, 2008
I think it is a good ting to go back home after studies most especially if you are still a young person. The longer you stay here in search of ''money'' the harder it becomes to go home. I am planning to return home this year but most pple are often afraid of what tomorrow holds for them. I was surprised to see loads of developments when I visited Nigeria last year. Young pple are really doing great things back home now.
Going home in my opinion would need alot of planning. Securing a job in Nigeria from here (western world) would be a good start. Most Nigerian employers often ask this question, ''how much do you want as your salary'' or ''what is your current pay package like''. Immediately they change whatever you say to Naira and BANG you've struck them where it hurts the most. Cos after the convertion, their tune changes.
But really it is a good thing to go back home no matter what because that is where development is currently happening. Pple are now getting jobs and living confi within their reach. It may not be for everybody now but there are loads of things we can come up with as young pple to make that country great again. For a start, we can use our experience and exposure here (western world) in what we do at home. We can intoduce new things that are here to the guys at home which would give pple jobs and put us where we wanna be. I strongly believe we all have the keys to making that country great again. We came here for a reason, nothing in life happens by chance. There is a divine plan for all of these (just as in the hit TV series LOST or PRISON BREAK lol cheesy) but jokes apart like minded pple from here can come together and do something at home.
I studied food safety & quality management where I studied how to maintain the quality of food produced and also food laws. Everytime I think about how our own food laws could be changed so all Nigerians would be assured that eating a mama put food is as safe as eating indomie noddles or some Nigerian made orange juice.
Like I wrote earlier, it is for a purpose that we are here and let us learn all we can and use it to build our home because come to think about it, no foreigner would develop our home for us.

EducationRe: Nigerian School Websites by ArseQPR(m): 10:42am On Jan 31, 2007
Yo'll, I am not dissing any school website but some of the Nigerian Uni are crap. I think in a Uni's wesite, people will want to see more pictures rather than read some story about how the system works. People remember what they see than what they read. Just because of this reason Nigerian Uni wesites are not great.

Check out my Uni at www.gre.ac.uk

It is really not a full scam. It is like talking about the younger borther of scam. It is not the real thing. I think is it based on commission. Your pay depends on how many pple u bring in. Very complicated and the pple inside won't tell you the real thing.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Kpmg Vs Nnpc Vs Diamond Bank by ArseQPR(m): 3:50pm On Jan 29, 2007
Hey in your mind you know where to go but if I were you,

1. Diamond Bank: Working in a bank is goodfor some people but to me it is crap. It is like the last place for work. U'll need to do alot for shite money. DON'T GO THERE!

2. KPMG: This is a good coy with international reputation and links. Prospects here ar endless for u especially if you have the right qualification for promotion. You'll need alot of training and studies to change from Mech Eng to either Econmics, Accounts, Auditing and shite like that.

3. Very good coy with prospects. Getting a job here is like a medical doctor getting a job with LUTH. This is what you are trained for. You know the terms and words used in the system. I think this wll be good for you.

Do no think about the money now but rather focus on how to build a career inyour chosen field.

GO TO NNPC dude!!! and enjoy working in Niger Delta grin

TV/MoviesHigh Definition TV (HDTV) In Nigeria by ArseQPR(op): 4:05pm On Jan 28, 2007
Hey' all,

I think we are still backwards in Nigeria when it comes to TV experience. I was reading punch onlne last week and saw an ad about flat screen TV from Sharp. Over here in Europe we are going HD and very soon TV stations will be transmitting on HD.

What are Nigerian TV stations doing not to be left behind?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Job Interview Coming Up! by ArseQPR(m): 3:36pm On Jan 28, 2007
I wish you well.

1st. Arrive early. I will suggest you get there at least 30 mins to the time because this is your first interview, you'll have time to relax and put yourself together before the interview.

2nd. Obviously dress smart

3rd. Research about the company. make sure know alot about the coy.

4th. Know your course of study very well. Since this is yo ur first job, they will want to know how sund u areeducationally.

5th. Keep your mouth fresh. The best way to do this is to chew any minty gum to the internview. NEVER: chew gum during your interview.

6th. Smile to everybody you meet in the company before your interview cos u don't know wo is who.

7th. If you are waiting at the lobby or reception, chat the the receptionist. Smile to her and make yourself freindly. They often have influence on their bosses.

8th. Always ask for a feedback from your interviewer. This gives you an idea of how you performed during the inteview.

9th. Sit straight and professional.

10th. NEVER: close the door on pple. Always hold it for the next person coming behind you.

I wish u the best.
