This actually sounds like a sensible approach. Locking in crude prices could help Nigeria plan its budget better and reduce sudden fuel price shocks for citizens. The key thing now is proper execution and accountability. Forward selling crude is not a new idea; many countries already do it. The real question is whether Nigeria has the fiscal discipline and transparency to manage such contracts without turning them into another avenue for losses and corruption. |

Behind every litre of milk sold is a combination of good animal welfare practices, efficient resource use, and smart budgeting. 🐄 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩 Profitability starts with the cows. Comfortable cows are productive cows. Providing clean, dry bedding, adequate ventilation, and shade ensures optimal living conditions. Access to clean water and ample resting space reduces stress and promotes health. By tracking costs per litre, feed conversion ratios, and herd productivity metrics, I provide the data needed to make informed decisions. Whether it is adjusting feed budgets, planning capital investments, or identifying cost-saving opportunities, the numbers only make sense when grounded in the realities of the farm. In conclusion, maximizing profit in dairy farming goes beyond the balance sheet. It requires a farm-wide strategy where cow welfare, routine discipline, smart nutrition, and hygiene are not just practices; they are investments. As an accountant embedded in this environment, I witness how financial success is built day by day, cow by cow and litre by litre.

FRIDAY'S EMBRACE: A Tapestry of Serenity and Faith By K•A GBADEGESIN (Mr Mentor) ➡️➡️🕋 FRIDAY 🕋➡️➡️ As I woke up from my Matrimonial bed today; I realized that today is Friday. The day Muslims and Arabian called "yaomul Jumuah", the congregation day. The day tranquil breeze sweeps the worries away, it's Friday. Families gather for joyous play, celebrating this delightful day. Worshippers gather at the mosque to pray, it's the holy Friday. The noblest of the mankind (S.A.W) encouraged us to recite Suratul kahf on this special day The day with a special time When Allah answer the supplications of his Servants is this Friday On this special day, workers find solace as they lay their tools away, ending the workday. As the moon ascends, a calmness in the air may stay, whispering tales of a beautiful Friday. Couples stroll hand in hand by the bay, cherishing moments on this romantic day. Children laugh and be in happy mood, embracing the freedom of Friday. Sunset paints the sky in hues of gray, bidding farewell to the other day. Stars twinkle, marking the night to display the blessings of this Friday. ✍️✍️✍️ -THE GOLDEN PRESS

i wish this young man a quick recovery. inshallah Allah you shall overcome this. "He was considered for airlift but doctors handling his case advised against it warning that he may not survive a 6+ hours flight to Europe with traumatic brain injury." the statement above really baffled me. what will happen to ordinary Nigerian that cannot afford the cost needed to be incurred when in a situation like this. may God help us in this country. |
