the bulksms site i manage runs on spc4, i have not been able to install updates. who else is having such issue

When your phone number is on DND, you will no longer receive notification from all of your services that sends notification SMS using third-party SMS services. This include but not limited to the following:

SMS notifications as regards job invites as most recruiters make use of bulksms service to dispense job notification to candidates
Examination PINs purchased online (eg WAEC, NECO, etc)
Electricity PINs from the third-parties that sell on behalf of the Electricity Distribution Companies
Transaction update of online purchases (eg Jumia, Konga, etc)
Updates from your school or that of your children
Notification and update from your religious organization and societies
Community alerts from Governments Health Centres and NGOs

If you would like to continue receive as regard any of the reasons atated above, you will need to unsubscribe from the DND by following the steps earlier described at the beginning of the article for the different networks

After the procedure and you are still not receiving third-party SMS, please contact the customer care for the network you use

A client called me that he was having problem on his spc site, upon investigation, I discovered that everything was working fine except that new users on his spc website were unable to access spc menu items, only admins at the super user level was able to view sms and transaction history of users, admins at the manager levels were unable. Also, new users cannot be found in the spc manage members menu. When SPC team was contacted, they said it was a joomla issue and not that of spc. Note that all Joomla Non SPC Menu items are working fine. the site has been developed for over one year on spc without problem until last month when this problem cam up. Please advice on what to do.

pretty complicated though...

did you update spc before it all began?
did you set new users to activate automatically or via email?
also check the proper access level of spc sms menu

to be frank we really need to stop killing these pythons so that generations to come would see it. pythons are the only surviving predators naturally living in the wild in nigeria. we dont have lion, leopards or cheetahs in the whild

i think the minister whose portfolio covers wild life should do something about it. people can be given prices for bringing pythos alive for relocation as it is done in south africa, kenya and tanzania. thats one key way to preserve wild species

are u sure you are using the original spc4?, because i know if the issue is from them, they would make effort to solve it. still recheck wtih your hosting.

you can also create your own member and admin menus rather than using their predesigned mudules, it will give you more flexibilty. i strongly believe its a histing issue though
