Anybody that has driven that particular model of Volvo or knows anyone that has, Will know why I call that car a useless car.
As far as naija is concerned, that car wasn't made for the tropics.
It's number one problem is overheating and the engine warps almost immediately.
If you want that car, better keep money aside for a new engine.
A friend of mine owned one and I know 6 other guys who complained of the Same problem .

Bmw is a solid brand and the e46 is their strongest and most reliable model.
Contrary to popular belief, it is very cheap to maintain if not cheaper than a Toyota sef and the fuel consumption is very good
I'll advise you to go for the 6 cyl 2.0-2.5l engine.
The e46 is a classic case of eating your cake and having it.
It's strong and reliable with good street rep and also easy to maintain with low fuel consumption.
I've been driving one for 4 yrs and still looks new.
