Well, considering GEJ's body language after the 2015 election loss, he must have realized he lose the election plainly due to the way the then main party supporters run the campaign for him..

GEJ and mama Peace supported Apc candidade, Lyon in the last Bayelsa guber election, and ever since then, GEJ's has not been seen anywhere near Pdp gathering.

The point is, if GEJ have moved on from the 2015 election loss to the extent of considering joining the party that defeated him, then why are some people still bitter about the same election loss the candidate have left behind and forge ahead?

I’ve said it severally here, GEJ if fully welcome to join the presidential race. We are in a democracy so nobody should be denied the inalienable right to associate freely and contest for political offices they are qualified for under the law. He will simply join the long queue for the party’s ticket and participate in the primary like every other aspirants. If he wins, we will support him. If he loses, he will support the candidate of the party. It is all politics and nothing else.

How would he have accepted it wen he's not a member of the party. The fact he allowed the rumor to fester showed he had interest but was only discouraged by public outcry and I won't be surprised if he made a u-turn n accept the form. There was nothing great about GEJ presidency, he was a clueless president who handed over to a more clueless president.
