Some models like to be controversial. It keeps them relevant and all the publicity usually helps propel their careers forward.
Marisa Papen, for example, is no stranger to controversy. After doing a naked photoshoot in ancient Egyptian temples, she claims she was sent to jail.
The worldwide stir didn’t deter the Belgian model, as she’s already returned to her antics, this time posing naked with one of Africa’s most colourful tribes.
She shared the pictures of her African trip where she walked naked among the members of an isolated Ethiopian tribe, taken by Australian photographer Jesse Walker

Marisa, who describes herself as a ‘free-spirited and wild-hearted expressionist’ marvelled at how beauty and nudity is seen by the tribe.
She said: ‘They have their own customs and beliefs, their own beauty-standards, their own religion, living life in harmony with nature and the spirit world.
‘You may say, they are totally different than we are. But to me they are, what we once were. In touch with nature, a part of nature, immensely grateful and respectful towards it.’

‘Both Surma men and woman pierce their ears, some woman stretch their lower lip with a plate. They scar their bodies by making little cuts repetitively.
On her blog, Marisa says she was taken to jail for stripping down and attempting to take pictures in the sacred site.

CelebritiesSaudi Presenter Flee After Investigation On Dress During Report On Female Drivin by ashacot(op): 2:25pm On Jun 28, 2018
A Saudi TV presenter has fled the kingdom after officials launched an investigation into claims she violated the country’s strict dress code.
Shereen Al-Rifaie is being investigated by the country’s General Commission for Audiovisual Media after she featured in a segment on the recent lifting of a decades-old ban on female drivers
In the video, she was deemed to be dressed ‘indecently’.

According to Saudi news website Ajel, Al-Rifaie fled the country after posting a photo of her passport to Snapchat. She told Ajel she did not think her clothes were indecent.
While foreigners are given some leeway when they visit the country, the dress code for Saudi nationals is governed by Sharia law and must be strictly complied with.

Traditionally, Saudi women must wear an abaya – a robe-like dress that covers the entire body – in public, along with a veil that covers the head and hair, but leaves the face visible.
In the clip, Al-Rifaie is wearing a white abaya, which is blown open by the wind to reveal white skinny jeans and a light-coloured top underneath. Her head is covered by a loose white scarf, but this is also blown around, and at one point she partially removes it to rearrange it.
While Saudi’s new crown prince, Prince Mohammad bin Salman, said in an interview with American news outlet CBS in March that women do not have to wear an abaya or cover their heads, merely dress in ‘decent, respectful attire’, it remains unclear if these statements signal a change in the enforcement of women’s dress code in the kingdom.

In a post on Twitter on Tuesday, the Commission said it was investigating the TV presenter over claims she was wearing ‘indecent clothing, in violation of regulations and instructions’.
According to Ajel, shortly after the announcement, Al-Rifaie posted an image of her passport and a plane ticket on Snapchat, accompanied by the phrase ‘I will entrust you to God’ – suggesting she has left the country.
Al-Rifaie was presenting a segment on the lifting of the decades-old ban on female drivers in the country, which came into effect on Sunday, and which many commentators viewed as heralding a period of greater freedom for women in the conservative gulf state.
Until Sunday, the kingdom was the only country on earth still enforcing such a ban.
Speaking to Ajel, Al-Rifaie said: ‘I was wearing decent clothes, and God will reveal the truth of what has been said about me.’

CrimeWoman ‘kills Party Guests With Poisoned Food Because They Ridiculed Her Cooking’ by ashacot(op): 8:26pm On Jun 25, 2018
A woman in India is alleged to have killed five guests at a housewarming party because they kept ridiculing her cooking.
Pradnya Survase, of Khalapur, faces the death penalty after five guests died at the feast in Mahad, in Raigad district, on June 18.
Police said Survase intended to kill her husband, her mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, along with her mother-in-law’s sister and her husband after they ‘regularly insulted’ her complexion and cooking.

Woman 'kills party guests with poisoned food because they ridiculed her cooking'

According to authorities, Survase allegedly mixed snake poison into a container of dal that was then served to guests, which left 88 people in hospital and led to the deaths of five.
Vishwajeet Kaingade, senior police inspector of Khalapur police station, told the Hindustan Times: ‘Pradnya claims that since her marriage two years ago, she has been insulted regularly for her dark complexion and accused of not being able to cook well.’
Survase, divorced from her first husband, also believes relatives had damaged her second marriage.

Around 120 people were invited to the housewarming and a village cook prepared food which was served from 2.30pm until 11.30pm.
But those who ate later in the day began complaining of nausea, vomiting and stomach ache just a few hours later.
The newspaper reports that 88 people were hospitalised and four children, aged between seven and 13, died along with 53-year-old Gopinath Nakure, two of whom were related to Survase.
Vilash Thikrey, a 13-year-old who survived the poisoning, remembers the dal tasting ‘bitter’.

Kaingade added: ‘We learnt that those who had eaten between 4:30pm and 6pm were suffering from nausea and other issues. We then found out who had served the food then.’
Police questioned those who had served the food and said Survase confessed after being interrogated.
Forensic anaylisis revealed pesticide was present and traces of poison were found near the house.
Survase has been charged with murder, attempted murder and conspiracy under the Indian Penal Code.
The maximum punishment she faces is the death penalty.

SportsIranian Fans Stops C Ronaldo From Sleeping So He Doesn’t Destroy Them In The WC by ashacot(op): 1:59pm On Jun 25, 2018
Iranian fans have turned to the dark arts to try and disrupt Cristiano Ronaldo before they play Portugal in the World Cup tonight.
A group of supporters gathered outside the Real Madrid superstar’s hotel early this morning and tried to keep him awake by singing, blowing trumpets and playing drums.
Iran play Portugal in a crucial group B clash in Saransk, Russia, and their fans probably felt they needed an edge.

Footage showed them continueing to make noise even after Ronaldo made a plea for them to be quiet.
Their behaviour was very unsportsmanlike but it showed how much they feared the 33-year-old marksman and the rest of his team mates.
But Ronaldo is a cool customer so is unlikely to be put off by the gamesmanship.

If anything the sneaky tactic will make Ronaldo angrier and more likely to add to the four goals he has scored so far in the World Cup.
The final group match kicks off at 7pm tonight at the Mordovia Arena.

SportsAhmed Musa Fires Warning To Lionel Messi "I Score Anytime I Play Against You" by ashacot(op): 10:58am On Jun 25, 2018
Ahmed Musa has fired a warning towards Lionel Messi and insisted he’s going to help to knock Argentina out of the World Cup by out-scoring him.
Musa bagged two goals in Nigeria’s recent 2-0 victory over Iceland, and his nation now take on Argentina in the final Group D clash as both sides desperately hunt for the victory which will ensure qualification.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to scoring in games of which Messi is involved in, bagging two in a 2016 pre-season friendly against Barcelona as well as scoring twice against Argentina back in 2014.

‘Whenever I play against Argentina, or whenever Messi is playing against me, I score,’ Musa said.
‘Four years ago I scored two goals. When I transferred to Leicester City and we played against Barcelona I scored another two goals, so I think in the next game anything can happen.
‘Possibly, I’m going to score another two goals.’
Musa spent the 2016/17 season at Leicester City where he scored four goals in 32 games. Last season he was on loan at CSKA Moscow where he scored seven times in 16 matches.
If his Nigeria side manage to escape Group D, they will face either France, Denmark or Australia in the round of 16. They face Argentina on June 26.

SportsOne Of The Cities Hosting The 2018 World Cup Flooded After A Heavy Rain. PHOTOS by ashacot(op): 10:57am On Jun 20, 2018
Fans in Nizhny Novgorod in western Russia have been basking in sunshine on the banks of the Volga river since the World Cup began.
But the lovely weather was put on ice today when the heavens opened and a thunderstorm flooded the medieval city.

It only took half an hour for the heavy rain to quickly build up rivers of water, bringing traffic to a standstill and stranding motorists.
But one man, dressed in a smart shirt and tie, leapt into action to rescue two women from their cars.
Pictures show him wading in the waist-high water, dragging them out of their car windows one by one, and carrying them to safety.

Due to the presence of a less-than-perfect drainage system, the water quickly rose to dangerous levels.
While the flooding briefly dampened spirits at a hilltop fan zone, the sun soon came out again, calm returned, and locals simply shook their heads.
‘It’s not the first time – we’re used to it,’ said one shopkeeper, watching motorists open their bonnets to let their engines dry out.

Foreign AffairsMan Crushed To Death By His Mother’s Coffin When It Fell From Funeral Tower by ashacot(op): 9:55am On Jun 18, 2018
An Indonesian was killed when his mother’s coffin fell from a funeral tower and crushed him during a service on the island of Sulawesi, police said Sunday.
Samen Kondorura, 40, died Friday when pallbearers lost their footing while carrying the coffin up a bamboo ladder in the Parinding valley in North Toraja district, local police said.
The casket fell as the group hoisted it onto a lakkian, an ornately carved tower where the deceased is placed before elaborate traditional funeral rites.
‘As the mother’s coffin was being raised to the lakkian, suddenly the ladder shifted and collapsed, the coffin fell and hit the victim,’ Julianto Sirait, chief commissioner of the Tana Toraja resort police, said
Video from the scene, which has gone viral online, shows the ladder slip just as the casket enters the tower, sending the men tumbling several metres to the ground where the victim is struck by the coffin.
Horrified onlookers rush to the men’s aid but Kondorura died later in hospital.
Sirait said the accident happened because the ladder was not properly reinforced but the family has declined to press charges.
The body of Kondorura is now resting alongside his mother Berta, he added.
When ethnic Torajans die, local residents hold elaborate funerals that can last for days and involve music, dance and the sacrifice of water buffalo.

Sports7 Things We Learn From Nigeria's Match Against Crotia by ashacot(op):
1, Nigeria Need to learn to defend set piece. This has been the struggle of this team at the defence. The friendly matches they played to prepare for the world cup saw them conceding against england through a set piece when Cahil lip to score in wembly and against CZECH When they also conceded a set piece too.

2, Playing a lone striker is not working. There need to be a change in formation to inject some level of attack in the team.

3, Playing iwobi as a winger didnt work today. He should play as an attacking midfielder too. There was Certainly no creativity in the team.

4, Too much expectations from Nigerians. As much as we need to support our team, We should also be careful with what we expect from them. Currently, the team lack through leadership. The team need someone to push them when the cheeps are down. mikel n moses need to step up to play that role

5, Crotia's team not very fantastic despite having some of the leading players in the world. Even Chelsea legend ZOLA alluded to the fact that despite winning today, they were poor in performance.

6, Nigeria Need to be physically ready to face Iceland as we saw how physical the iceland players were today against a very technical Argentina .

7,
We always go to the World Cup and be like
if this one beat this one and that one draw this
one, we go qualify

CrimeINCREDIBLE. Man Had Foot Amputated Then Served It To Friends For Dinner PHOTOS by ashacot(op): 11:26am On Jun 15, 2018
A man fed his foot to a group of friends at a dinner party after being forced to have it amputated.
The bizarre incident came to light this week after the amputee told his story on Reddit.
Oh, and he accompanied it with a set of pictures that are enough to make you lose your lunch (so we will do you a favour and keep them to ourselves).
Religious laws in the US say you can insist on retaining amputated bits so at your funeral – your corpse is complete.
But there are few laws around America that actually strictly forbid eating human bits.

So, that’s why this man – only known by his Reddit username IncrediblyShinyShart – came up with ‘Happy Taco Tuesday’.
Around two years ago, he was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident and despite a battle, medics were forced to amputate his foot.

The patient then asked to keep it – and after completing some paperwork (adoption papers) he took it home.
On July 10th, 2016, just three weeks after the accident, he invited 11 open-minded friends to a special meal. Ten showed up.
There was apple strudel, quiche puff pastries, fruit tarts and chocolate cake with gin lemonade punches and mimosas.
All led to the main – foot tacos.

The man said: ‘So my friends and I always had this joke, If you could try human flesh in an ethical and healthy way, would you.
‘And we always said of course. Well the opportunity came up and I called them on it.
‘Originally I wanted to have [my foot] taxidermied or freeze-dried.
‘How cool would it be to have my freeze-dried or taxidermied foot standing around the house as a lamp or a doorstop or something?

This is a cautionary tale for anyone who does their make-up on their commute.
A woman doing her make-up in a car has been rushed to hospital after she stabbed herself in the eye with an eyeliner stick when her taxi was involved in a minor collision.
She was on her way to see friends when the taxi she was in bumped into another vehicle in a traffic jam in Bangkok, Thailand.
The woman, who was in her 20s, hit the seat in front when the taxi knocked the white pick-up truck in front of them.
Incredibly for the woman, the stick didn’t penetrate her eyeball and her sight will not be affected by the accident.

Paramedic Thanabodee Sabbodi said that the crash was minor but that the ‘freak accident’ had caused half of the pencil to plunge into the eye socket of the young woman, who has not been identified.

PoliticsFG Agrees N500m Payment To Lawyers Over Mtn’s Fine by ashacot(op): 9:27am On Jun 14, 2018
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday approved the payment of N500 million legal fees to lawyers for the recovery of N330 billion fine from the Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN).
MTN was fined by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in 2017 for breaching directives on SIM registration.
The Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Malam Abubakar Malami, said this while briefing State House Correspondents on the outcome of the FEC meeting.
According to the minister, FEC’s action is part of the approvals for four memoranda submitted by the Justice Ministry to FEC for consideration.
“The third memo was for approval for the payment of professional fees to the lawyers that were engaged by the federal government relating to the case that was instituted sometime back by the MTN against the federal government in pursuance of penalty of over N1 trillion imposed by government against MTN.
“MTN as you could rightly remember instituted an action seeking to constrain the federal government from making recovery of the over N1 trillion penalty that was imposed on it.
“So arising from that the federal government engaged the services of certain solicitors, lawyers to now put up a defense on its behalf.
“Arising from the defence that was put in place by the lawyers the case was eventually settled by the parties amicably.
“And arising from that settlement the lawyers were entitled to their fees.
“The federal government has now approved the payment of N500 million for the N330 billion agreed upon.’’
Malami said that the fine was arrived at after a compromise whereby the communication giant agreed to pay N330 billion instead of N1 trillion imposed on it by the NCC for breaches in its communication activities.
He said that the said legal fee was professional fees to the lawyers who stood for the federal government in the matter.
The minister said that lawyers from NCC and Ministry of Justice were involved in the case but based on the sensitivity of the case and in line with international best practices additional support was sought from outside.
“It is about operating on the side of caution to ensure that diverse skills, professionalism and expertise are brought in the defence of the federal government.
“And that has paid off taking into consideration that the lawyers by way of cross-fertilisation of ideas, support worked together in the spirit of ensuring the success of the case.
“They have worked together by way of cooperation and collaboration and succeeded in recovering N330 billion in favour of the federal government.
“It is not about vote of no confidence (in NCC Lawyers) but about collaboration and enhancing the capacity and ensuring that at the end of the day the desired result is achieved and I think the result justifies the means,’’ he stated.
The minister explained that in assessing the quantum of amount being paid to the lawyers the volume of the amount recovered and the requirement that about five per cent of the amount was to be paid in line with international practices.
He said that the N500 million was justified as it was less than one per cent of the recovered amount.

Gonzalo Higuain: Argentina v Germany, 2014

In an alternate reality, it’s Toni Kroos who is unable to live down his World Cup howler. In this one though, it’s Higuain, having failed to capitalise on the German midfielder’s dreadfully misplaced headed backpass that put the then-Napoli forward clean through.
Manuel Neuer in the German goal never even got tested, with Higuain – who had enough time to return to Argentina to pick up his shooting boots from home, before flying back to the Maracana to take his shot – scuffing the ball well wide from the edge of the penalty.
In the end it was Kroos who became a World Cup winner, with Higuain left wondering what might have been.

With the whole world watching and the nerves involved, it’s pretty understandable that someone would miss their team’s decisive spot-kick in a World Cup final.
But, not when the person taking that kick is Roberto Baggio.
The rat-tailed playmaker was a spot-kick specialist, and scored 68 penalties during his time in Serie A.
But, the one he missed at the Rose Bowl against Brazil is the only one people remember, where he hit the ball so far over the bar, Jonny Wilkinson would have been proud of the effort.

Chris Waddle: England v West Germany, 1990

From the moment he started his walk to the penalty area, you knew Waddle wasn’t going to score his penalty in the shoot-out.
With his head tilted to one side and shifty eyes pointed at the ground, Marseille’s mulleted maverick strode up to face Bodo Illgner with all the purpose, enthusiasm and desire of a man who’s just remembered that he promised his neighbours he would care for and feed their dog that summer, and failed to remember that he’d double-booked that responsibility with a World Cup in Italy.
Needing to get out to check that kennel ASAP, Waddle blasted the ball high and wide, with a trajectory similar to that of a failing space rocket, presumably landing safely somewhere in Stadio delle Alpi’s car park. And with that, England went out.

Christian Vieri: Italy v South Korea, 2002

Italy’s elimination from the 2002 World Cup, at the hands of South Korea, was one of the most controversial in the history of the tournament, due to a questionable refereeing performance from Ecuadorian official, Byron Moreno.
But, none of that would have mattered had Inter forward Vieri not fired the ball high and wide of the goal from five yards out, in the final minute of normal time.
Instead, Ahn Jung Hwan’s golden goal saw the co-hosts through.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni: Nigeria v South Korea, 2010

Yakubu’s heel-poke shank from three yards in front of an open goal ranks among the top five unmissable misses in any tournament, let alone the World Cup.
The only possible excuse for the former Everton striker putting the ball wide of the post, was surprise at not being flagged for offside.
