Goke7: I know friends who have flown to Nigeria via KLM in recent months, and they had no issues, so you're good with the E-visa. Having a valid US or Canadian visa is also a valid reason. I will always encourage anyone with a UK resident visa to acquire a US or Canadian visa, as it also helps. Thanks |

naivasha: Flew via Amsterdam in April; I didn't have a transit visa. However I need to state that I have a valid Canadian visa but I honestly don't know if that made a difference. Thanks for the reply. I think one doesn't need a transit visa if you have American/Canadian visa on your passport. However, I would love to hear from people that have travelled with KLM to Nigeria with just UK evisa before I go ahead with my booking. |

Please, has anyone with evisa travelled from the UK to Nigeria with KLM without transit visa of recent? |

hopcious: Sorry about the outcome of your application. Did you give clarity on the inflow and outflow of cash from the account in writing alongside your application? Also, what type of visa did you apply for? It is a visiting visa. I applied for myself and also served as sponsor for my wife. I didn't write a clarity letter because part of the inflow is a bonus from my employer although more than my monthly salary as stated in the employer's letter of introduction. |

DrOA: With how much? If we may know I had 3m in my account with cash flow of about 10m within the space of three months. However, I had some deposits within this period that are more than my salary. I have two other accounts that I could have used but I thought 3m balance is ok for the application. |

Nikky1759: Please anyone be issued visa recently cause we not heard about that for a while? I got my passport today and was denied after waiting for two months on the ground that my statement of account lacks credibility. |

bellong: I do know that hundreds of Nigerians have been assessed by EA which means the assessor may likely know what the NYSC year is. If you have any concrete evidence or reason why you are exempted, you can say it. Thank you |
Travel › Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ashaju33: 10:09am On Oct 02, 2019 |
bellong: The NYSC experience is relevant but doesn't mean you are paid at the appropriate professional level. It is either you pay the tax incurred for the one year at your state's internal revenue or remove the experience. If the assessor will accept that your tax was deducted from source prior to being paid, you can give that excuse.
I can't think of any other way around it. @bellong thanks. How about telling the CO that i was exempted from tax during NYSC period. Does this sound tenable? |
Travel › Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ashaju33: 5:09am On Oct 02, 2019 |
@bellong, please i need your advise on this issue. I was contacted by my EA assesor to support my NYSC experience with reference letter and tax certificate which i dont have. I submitted statement of account, discharge certificate and posting letter (photocopy). My NYSC experience is a relevant engineering experience and i want to include it so that i can claim 8 years. Please kindly advise as this is my second time of applying for EA assessment and I intentionally delay this application to this moment hoping that I will include NYSC in order to maximize my point. |

One of my CDRs has high plagiarism issue. I have to re write new ones for fresh application. Kinboe: Yes. I did a fast track. It is the best way to do the assessment.
I would ask you what the reason for the rejected application was but I am guessing it was plagiarism. Let me know if I am wrong though.
Outcome letter comes out very fast once they accept all your documents and CDR. It won't take more than a week or so. |

How long did it take to get outcome letter and did you do fastrack. I intend to re apply next month after a rejected application. it took close to three months then before I got assessment outcome. Kinboe: If you have any questions about the Engineers Australia process or getting through your CDR very well, please ask me.
I did mine and it came out very well with full work experience given to me. I would be glad to help someone else with advise on it. |

Hello everyone. I want to share my experience with EA regarding my assessment. I applied for Assessment in Feb 2019 though not on fastrack. After two months of waiting, I got a mail from EA asking me to defend my Career episodes. I replied them with evidence on originality of my C.E but unfortunately my application was rejected. I used my undergraduate project as one of my C. E and after running originality test, I discovered some percentage of similarities between my project and some online publications while the other two C.E are ok. Base on my experience, I will advise people not to include their undergraduate project as part of their C.E. I intend to re apply since I wasn't banned for 12 months |

Your complaint should be directed to your bank. I have had similar experience before with my bank and when I noticed they were delaying the reversal of my failed transaction, I forwarded my mail correspondence with them to cbn also putting them in copy. The reversal that has lingered for weeks was done immediately and was asked to confirm if my bank has done the reversal. @op go to cbn website as I can't remember the email address, there is a unit that attends to issues like this in cbn Great4God: Had it been I am dealing with a private firm,it would have been a lot easier, if only I had gotten any feedback from the FRSC, I would have known how to proceed, they totally blanked out from giving any response and no body to hold responsible |

Mauritius is not visa free, am talking form experience. I remember a colleague had this problem when he wanted to travel to Mauritius for a conference. we searched online to see possible information but we couldnt get. we now contacted a friend that works in the FAAN who now contacted an agent on our behalf and my colleague got his e visa the following day with 200USD or so but am not sure of the amount. He made a transit in Kenya and continued the journey the following day with Ethiopia airline. The country is far from Africa New Ideas: @mr knowitall thanks bros for your kind guidance but pls do you have details of flights that go to Mauritius and are there jobs someone can do in that con3. |
