Sorry if I posted this in a wrong thread. I dont know where to post it

The men confessed to kidnapping their victims at various locations in the state and using their parts for ritual purposes. Some parts they sold to people who needed them for transplant. Yeah, there are human beings like this amongst us.

The men, who are mostly bricklayers, confessed that they sell the parts from N500k to N1million, depending on the parts in demand. Two of the ritual killers were found to be pastors.

The men took the vigilante network members and some policemen to their hideout which is a forest in Umugara Village in Nkwerre. There, police found the decomposing corpses of some of their victims, mostly women and children.

CelebritiesThe Moment Obama's New Dog Knocked Down A Little Girl by Ashmark(op): 1:56pm On Dec 05, 2013
The Obama's younger dog is still getting used to the spotlight as it made a major faux pas during a White House ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

Sunny Obama jumped up on a toddler who was a guest at the unveiling of the official Christmas decorations, pushing the little girl to the ground.

The girl, later identified as Ashtyn Gardner, is one of the hundreds of children from military families who were on hand to help the First Lady display this year's decorations.

A video of the encounter shows that Sunny was being held on a leash by Mrs Obama during the ordeal but that didn't stop her from knocking the girl over. See more pics

There were no hard feelings- or injuries- as Sunny proceeded to lick 2-year-old Ashtyn's face as she was hugged by Mrs Obama.

That wasn't the only way that Sunny ruined the event- at least in the eyes of the family's older dog.

Bo had previously been the star of earlier Christmas displays, with countless versions of it's likeness scattered about the White House, but this year he had to share the spotlight with his little sister.

FamilyWoman Commit Suicide After Mistakenly Sending Message Meant For BF To Husband by Ashmark(op): 5:48pm On Dec 04, 2013
A policewoman committed suicide after writing a text to a male colleague thanking him for a 'wonderful' date - but accidentally sent it to her husband, an inquest heard.

PC Gail Crocker, 46, met a fellow officer while her husband Peter, 49, was away from their home near St Austell, Cornwall, on a business trip in London.

Later that evening the mother of two typed a message on her mobile saying: 'Thank you for a wonderful evening. Only wish we could do this more often'.

But Mrs Crocker sent it to her husband of 30 years by mistake, an inquest in Truro was told.

He came home and she admitted to having a 'one-off' rendezvous with a male colleague but insisted it had never happened before.

The couple rowed, and the next day Mrs Crocker called in sick from work and drove to a lane two-and-a-half miles away from her home in the village of St Stephen. She took an overdose and was later found dead in her car.

PoliticsOshiomhole Apologise To Widow, Donates N2m To Her by Ashmark(op): 3:37pm On Dec 02, 2013
Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo on Monday donated two million naira to a widow he allegedly insulted while on an inspection tour of the state.

The widow, Mrs Joy Ifije, who was invited to the Edo Government House by the governor, was also offered automatic employment by Oshiomhole.

Oshiomhole had invited the widow to personally apologise to her over his uncomplimentary remark that had generated controversies in the conventional and social media in the last few weeks.

‘’ Let me apologise to you for the way I spoke to you, I am very sorry about the statement.

“I have also realised that even in anger, one could still achieve the same result that he set out to without provocative outburst.

‘’ I apologise from the bottom of my heart, but sometimes you get angry when people compromise your efforts.’’

He said that government was trying to change the face of the state capital by doing its best to make the city beautiful.

The governor said that it was frustrating and bad for some people to truncate government efforts.

He stressed that trading on the road and walk ways could hinder free flow of traffic as well as cause accidents.

Oshiomhole, therefore, appeal to the widow to join in the campaign against road and walkways trading.

The governor said that exposing consumables to unhygienic sanitary conditions could also cause ”disease and pose dangerous health hazards to humans”.

Oshiomhole, who also announced the automatic employment to the widow, said that the employment would help her ease the burden of widowhood and give her children good and proper education.

He further assured the widow that his family would assist the widow’s second child in furthering his education, while also appealing to her to resist the temptation of law breaking.

The widow had earlier apologised to the governor for her action, saying ‘’ I know I was wrong, that was why I quickly knelt down to beg when I realised I was face to face with the Governor’’.

She promised to work with the state government in its campaign against street trading and obstruction.

She also promised to make judicious use of the money donated to her by the governor.

RomanceStatistics Shows That Oshodi & Ikeja Top Sexual Abuse Areas In Lagos by Ashmark(op): 10:58am On Nov 26, 2013
Statistics gathered by a human rights organisation, Partnership for Justice, has shown that sexual assaults such as rape are mostly common in Oshodi, Ikeja, Agege and Ketu areas of Lagos.

Managing partner of the group, Itoro Eze-Anaba, said this in Lagos on Monday during the opening of the Marabel Centre – a sexual assault and referral centre – located at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

She said the purpose of establishing the centre was to provide assistance for rape victims without divulging their secret.

She said, “From July to November 25, the centre has offered free services to 124 victims who have been raped or sexually assaulted in Lagos State. Our statistics show that majority of the survivors of rape are children between the ages of 11-15.

“Children are more at risk of sexual assault in Oshodi/Mafoluku, Ikeja, Agege/Oko Oba, Mile 12/Ketu areas. The Mirabel Centre offers medical examination and treatment for illness and injuries caused by sexual assault. We counsel to help cope with emotional and psychological effects of rape and help in reporting the incident to the police.”

Chief Medical Director of LASUTH, Prof Wale Oke, added that the centre would increase access to Lagosians, whom, he said, suffer more from sexual assaults.

He said, “Victims of rape or sexual assault may feel ashamed, angry, guilty, distressful and anxious. There may be a disbelief of what has happened to them, and hence they need to get back to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

“Whatever they feel is normal; they need back their lives and must be committed to restoring it. Women in Lagos have always been at the forefront of the liberation struggle, and we owe an immense debt of gratitude to women for the instrumental role they play in the polity.”

Chairman, Advisory Council, National Human Right Commission, Abuja, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, emphasised that those found guilty of sexual assaults should be punished.

“We must stop being silent and stop negotiating certain boundaries in the name of family name or friendship. Defaulters of sexual assaults should be severely punished because we have to stop exposing our children and women to risk of rape and other sexual assaults,” he said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Felix Ogundeji, urged Lagosians not to hesitate to report rape cases to the police before evidences became vague.

“There is no police station that you will report sexual assaults case to that won’t help you. All you need to do is to ensure that you contact them early so the evidences can be easily proven and justice can be well ascertained. You should know that good evidences are required to excel in a criminal case,” he added.

Car TalkNigeria To Start Producing Armoured Vehicles by Ashmark(op): 1:33pm On Nov 11, 2013
As interest in armoured luxury cars rises among the upper class, some Nigerian auto firms have intensified research work on the armouring technology.
Already, an indigenous automobile manufacturer, Proforce Limited, has commenced the production of Armoured Personnel Carriers.
Proforce said it had sealed a pact with Defence Industries Corporation and some para-military organizations for the production.
The Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, is currently facing criticism for allegedly forcing the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to buy two armoured cars for her.
Wealthy Nigerians and top public office holders import a number of armoured vehicles.
The Managing Director, Proforce, Mr. Ade Ogundeyin, said in a statement obtained on Friday that his firm was currently working with the Defence Industries on the APCs, just as he stressed it was equipped to armour other categories of vehicles.
He criticized the idea of importing armoured vehicles, saying it did not make economic sense for Nigerians to continue to import what was available locally.
“There is no need for government or anybody to import bulletproof or armoured vehicles. It is a waste of resources.
“Why import at very high cost when there is capacity to produce better vehicles at comparatively lower prices locally? This is an issue I hope the new auto policy will address.”
Ogundeyin said the armouring materials were resistant to AK-47 gunshots and assaults with improvised explosive devices, stressing that the vehicles would run on special flat tyres that could endure several kilometres of journey even when deflated. (Punch)
The Proforce boss also expressed support for the recently developed auto plan, describing it as one of the best policies of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
He said if fully implemented, the document was capable of boosting industrial activities in the sector and contributing towards the achievement of government’s targets for the economy by 2020.
He aligned with the thrusts of the new auto policy, which were to encourage investment, enhance technological development and revive production activities in the industry.
Ogundeyin said, “This is a laudable plan which is capable of transforming the local industry. The impact will be felt in many ways, including the establishment of many small- and medium-scale support industries, job creation and increase in capacity utilization.
“But a lot will depend on whether government has the will to fully implement the policy, especially the area that concerns their agencies or departments buying locally made vehicles. Another critical area that requires firm action on the side of government is the one that introduces stiffer tariff structure for fully built imported vehicles.
