FoodRe: 5 Different Kinds Of annoying Persons You Meet When Buying Suya by Ashmark(m): 7:47pm On Dec 19, 2014
I remember a day me and ma brother decided to visit a Suya Joint and ask for taste without having any money with us.

When we got their, my brother ask for the price of the Suya and the Suya Man said #500.

My brother decided to ask for Taste first before buying it but later said his not buying again because the taste is not OK.

You need to see what happened that night, the Suya man call all the area boys in that arena.

It wasn't funny that night cry

Am from Niger-Delta and a christian but am voting for Buhari along side with my entire Family.

What can I say I have gained from this present government for the past six years?

1.I still queue up to buy fuel at filling station even at a higher price
2. I even paid my hard earn money to get a government job but instead of getting the job I ended up thanking God that I wasn't among those that lost their lives in the process
3. Even as am typing this now am using a generator to charge my phone in order not to miss my darling nairaland for too long
4. My immediate younger sister is at home now because her school is on strike (that is UNITY schools)
5. What about my friends that are still unemployed after many years of service.
6. A neighbour of mine just lost her new born baby because of health workers strike.
7. Our sisters are still in captivity in the north and nobody is doing anything about it, so I don't think I will like to continue like this for the next four years so I demand a change and only BUHARI can bring that change.
8. The only achievement I can record for this administration is the boom in corruption where barely everyone that is close to the govt is now a private jet owner.

Enough of This Jonathan govt of "Lootocracy: Govt of Looters where stealing is not corruption".

Is only a fool that will continue to do things the same way and expect a different result, So Let's Make The Right Choice.

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless Niger-Delta
Sai Buhari
And you think Buhari will resolve all this things within 4years.

A Vote For Buhari, A Vote For Change!!!!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Reasons Your Relatives Can’t Help You Get A Job Where They Work by Ashmark(m): 8:36pm On Jul 23, 2014
nenergy: We all have relatives working in big establishments both government and private and as a job seeker you might be amazed shocked and even agitated angry that your aunt or uncle working in that MNC isn’t helping you get a job in his/her firm. My job search lasted 9 months and in that time I expected my aunt (who works in the HR Department at Chevron Nigeria) to help me get a job there, but no show. It baffled me that I was connected, but cannot download. grin

Anyways, I got a job and being employed has exposed me to quite a number of reasons why your relatives can’t help you get a job where they work. Ceteris Paribus, they are;

1. No entry level vacancy: Let’s face it; there aren’t too many entry level positions available. Companies mostly want experienced hires- someone who knows the job well. So that your relative works there doesn’t mean he/she will recommend you without the requisite experience.

2. Strict recruitment procedures: Some companies have very strict recruitment procedures. Some are so strict even if you’re the M.Ds daughter you won’t scale through unless by merit. For example, the Daughter of the GMD of NNPC who failed the 2012 recruitment tests. So believe me, that your uncle can only refer you to the recruitment portal and nothing more. (Ceteris paribus o!)

3. Outsourcing: Most companies now outsource HR functions to 3rd party consultants. E.g Dragnet etc. Ok, so vacancy opens at your uncle’s workplace, but the recruitment process is handled by Dragnet. The best he can do is to give the web link and ensure that you’re invited for aptitude test. He can’t rig your test score for you. (Ceteris paribus o!)

4. Company policy: Most companies don’t employ people related by blood. So, that your uncle works there disqualifies you automatically. I heard of how a panel member at a job interview announced his relationship to a candidate and consequently excused himself. The candidate was his nephew.

5. ‘See finish’: There is something about humans that makes us protective and secretive of our source of income (o fe mo bi mo shen pawo). So your uncle will rather submit your CV everywhere else except his workplace so that you will not “see him finish”. tongue

There you have it; reasons your relatives can’t help you get a job where they work.

ablyguy: Ok. Should I write an epistle?
Epistle!!!!!!!!!!!.......Not again
RomanceRe: Can True Love Exist In Poverty ? by Ashmark(m): 8:08pm On Jul 22, 2014
ablyguy: Poverty, to a great extent influences thoughts and constantly edits psychological evaluations. Now, the feeling of love is born out of a barrage of emotion and those are direct reflections of someone's pyschological condition at a time. The above scenario ostensibly lends credence to the fact that those two are as closely related to each other as sand is to the root of a tree, with poverty being the sand and true love, the root.

I hope I made sense...
You didnt......

Christianity EtcRe: 12 Things You Love That Are Banned In The Bible by Ashmark(m): 11:34am On Jul 20, 2014
cocoduck: I know quite well that you Muslims and atheists think that Christians are dumb but we are not. It is because of some people that do not really understand the bible that you are making such statements, these laws are called Mosaic Laws, that is the laws God gave to Moses to govern the Israelites, then later the bible made us know that Moses was a tutor leading to Christ and Christ is the tutor leading us to God. God used the Isrealites as his own special property because of Abraham, even he said to them that it not because they have something special that He has chosen them but because of the promise He made to Abraham. When Moses was alive the Christ has not yet arrived but later the Christ arrived and they rejected him and he rejected them also and instituted what is called a new covenant or agreement with his followers, this time everybody from all corners of the earth are allowed to be members, it is no longer limited to the Jews, with new rules, regulations and requirements, ie you no longer have to sacrifice an animal for atonement, all these dressing rules became a matter of conscience, that is why apostle Paul admonished us to dress MODESTLY,( there is no particular guideline in dressing modestly, it differs widely from place to place).
there are many things involved. Look friend if you want to know the bible, then contact Jehovah's witnesses and study with them, any question you want to ask, ask with an open mind not to put a stud for the person and you will find out that VERY many of these things you here from people (uninformed people for that matter, looking for who they will deceive) are mere hearsay, they will open your eyes. And it is free of charge, it will only cost you your time.
Nice post..Kudos to U..
Please I need more xplanation on tithing. I guess U can say sometin on dt too. I just hope is Mosaic law too

herald9: The old testament is really old.
And what do all things do...
They die...
Thats why we should focus more on the new testament.

No one should force us to obey foreign traditions-not even the bible...
We have ours_
