hopilo:big lie |
OBJ SPEAKS ON GMB: “Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is an upright man. Not many people know that his first daughter is married to an Igbo man from Anambra. He exempted Christians from performing duty on Sundays. When his Muslim soldiers asked him to exempt them from duty on Friday, he told them the bible says Christians should rest on the 7th day, the Muslims should show him where the Koran says they should rest on Fridays.” – OBASANJO FACTS As Head of State he slashed the number of Muslim going on pilgrimage by 50%. His driver and cook for the past 10 years plus are Christians yet some uninformed Nigerians say he is a bigot. It is a pity that some people failed to understand that PDP deliberately capitalised on the gullibility of Nigerians to paint him black. This they did in order to keep their loot and ensure that he never gets the opportunity to send them to goal. How many Nigerians would hold the appointment of government, minister of petroleum, PTF chairman and head of state yet don’t own a house in Abuja? He has only one house and never kept a foreign account. Love him, hate him you cannot take his integrity away from him.” |

Some questions from Amaechi to Niger Deltans Amaechi: He says he is your brother and the "Hausaman" is your enemy. Who built PH refinery? Tafawa Balewa. Who built Eleme Petrochemicals? IBB and Abacha. Who built Warri refinery? Shagari. Who built LNG? IBB Who established Niger Delta Ministry? Yar'adua. What has he done for you? Rehabilitation of East-West road. That is all. Tell me one original project. No, tell me even half. Aha...!!! |
Anthony Akabogun shared these probing questions: "Now that people question Buhari's education credentials, I will ask these questions and please give me answers. 1. Where on the Internet or any Academy or Learned Society can we find Jonathan's full CV. Please help. I need to see. 2. Which book did Goodluck Jonathan Ph D ever write? Please include ISBN if you have it. Co-authored books are welcome. 3. Which journal contains any of Goodluck Jonathan's academic writing? Or which standard textbook was written or which Book of Reading contains a chapter he wrote? Or does anyone have a Conference Procedure that contains his input? 4. Who was ever taught by Jonathan? Apart from Patience Jonathan (who apparently is not a teacher's delight), who was inspired by Goodluck Jonathan Ph D within academic confines? 5. Who has access to Goodluck Jonathan's. thesis at B.Sc or Ph D. levels? Or you could just tell us the title so we can google 6. Who knows anything academic that Goodluck Jonathan Ph D contributed? I do not ask to denigrate anyone. Equity requires that these questions be answered before he and his warriors can take on Buhari on the same issues." -Chuma Okoye |

78-year-old PDP chieftain dies on top of lover "According to Ejimo, she and the deceased did not engage in several rounds of sex, but only one before he began to gasp for breath and slumped" The Ogun State Police Command has commenced investigation into the sudden death of a 78-year-old Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Chief Christopher Adebayo Deru, who slumped and died on top of his lover allegedly after several rounds of sex. The lover, simply identified as Ejimo, a 30-year-old hairdresser, has been arrested by the police for further question. The police said that the scared lady hired a commercial bike rider and dumped the man’s corpse in a bush path. Ejimo apparently did not want to be connected with the incident. According to Ejimo, she and the deceased did not engage in several rounds of sex, but only one before he began to gasp for breath and slumped. She also maintained that it was the first time they would making love since they started dating six years ago. Deru was said to have sneaked out of his home on September 30, 2014 to meet his lover when he met his death. A police source said: “We gathered that during the visit, the two lovers had several rounds of sex before the old man collapsed on top of the lady and died.” Deru was said to belong to the PDP chapter of Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State. Ejimo further explained that since they started dating, there had never been opportunity to have sex. Recalling that fateful day, she said: “When Baba came in to my room, he didn’t even rest at all. “He quickly undressed and I also undressed myself. “When I sensed he was weak, I asked him to get off me. “I aided him to a couch in my room and I started fanning him with a copy of a newspaper.” Ejimo said that Deru’s condition deteriorated and he slumped. She admitted being scared and thus called her cousin, simply identified as Segun, a member of the Oodua Peoples Congress. Segun promised to help, but did not come, forcing her to alert a friend also simply identified as Sunday. Ejimo added: “Sundaytook me to his sister, Mrs. Funmilayo Moyegun, a friend. “I locked up his remains inside my room till dawn. “When I sensed most residents were indoor, I approached a co-tenant, BenjaminFriday, a commercial motorcyclist, and a friend, Mrs. Funmilayo Moyegun, a photographer, to help take snapshots of the corpse and to also take the remains to a bush path where it was dumped.” Ejimo said Deru was a nice man who was always there for her. The mother of one said she left her husband because he was uncaring. She said that Deru’s wife knew that they were dating. BenjaminFriday, the commercial motorcyclist, said he unaware someone had died. He explained that Ejimo came to him with Moyegun, asking for his help. Friday said: “When I asked, she said she had an Uncle in her room, who was almost dying. “She asked me to assist her with my motorcycle to convey him out of her room. “It was when I entered her room that I saw the Baba already slumped on the floor and also the other woman, who was later identified as Funmilayo Moyegun, was taking snapshots of the Baba. “It dawned on me that Baba was dead.” He said that Ejimo pleaded with him to convey the corpse on his motorcycle and dumped Deru’s remains at a bush path, which he agreed to. Moyegun said: “She said I should come and take snapshots in her room. “Photography is my trade. “When the door of the room was opened, I saw the Baba lying on the floor. “I took the snapshots as she had requested. “After completing my assignment, I advised her to quickly contact the family members and relations of the Baba so as to avoid running into trouble and she agreed. “I took my leave.” A search party discovered Deru’s body after two days he went missing. A neighbour, who sighted Deru going into Ejimo’s home, told the family about the man’s movement on that day. Police spokesman in Ogun State, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest of the three suspects. Adejobi said investigation was ongoing, adding that a post mortem examination would soon be conducted on the corpse to ascertain the circumstances that led to the death of the deceased. I see the absurdity of some myopic propagandists about Gen Buhari! They have nothing to use now in castigating the Gentleman, but old age. They forget that leadership is not wrestling, farming, marathon etc. Leadership need only two things: Wisdom &Trustworthiness! And Buhari has accumulated the two qualities since! |
Let’s break down this Presidential Election into simple Mathematics. Jonathan had a good spread scoring 25% or more in 31 States. Buhari managed to score 25% or more in 16 States and yet got a cumulative result of over 12 million votes. A good Mathematician should be able to help us here because I wish to show our President’s handlers that they will pay heavily for complacency if they assume and take it for granted that they can beat Buhari easily like PDP had always done in the past. Let me explain it further. A man who won d mandatory 25% in about half of d States secured by the President still went ahead to poll over half of what d President got. Now ds is the tricky part. Let me begin with the most obvious. Buhari had only 37.96% in Adamawa while Jonathan had 56%. The registered voters were 1,816,094 but d voter-turnout was a miserable 49.98%. With d way d country is right now, PDP would require a miracle to win Adamawa with a landslide. If Buhari secures d APC ticket, it is almost certain d he would clean up that State. And in case d voters turn out much bigger, it means that State can wipe off some of d deficits Buhari suffered in 2011. The two leading parties can still jerk up about one million extras which won’t be a bad idea even if PDP still gets 25% or more. Let’s walk across to another interesting State, Bauchi where Buhari recorded 1,315,209 against Jonathan’s 258,404 despite d avuncular presence of PDP Governor, Isa Yuguda. d registered voters here were 2,523,614 but only 1,610,094 voters chose to vote with nearly 1,000,000 voters hibernating somewhere. I hope you’re patient enough 2 follow ds Maths lesson. Benue would certainly be a major battle ground ds time 4 d candidates because the State has over 1.3 million voters (out of a total registration of 2,390,884) buried somewhere 4 d strongest candidate to resurrect. Here ethnicity and religion would play critical roles more than ever before. It is presently a virtual PDP State with Jonathan polling 694,776 against Buhari’s 109,680 & ACN (Nuhu Ribadu) 223,007. Benue had always been a State of enlightened voters and it may swing in favour of a serious candidate. Let’s keep moving & find somewhere to land in d troubled spot of Borno State. This is a treasure ground with 2,380,957 out of which more than half of d voters have absconded & vanished into thin air. In 2011, Buhari 909,763 against d President’s humble 207,075 votes. Now this State is under fire but is NOW largely controlled by d new alliance known as APC. Let’s saunter across to Gombe where Buhari scored 459,898 against Jonathan’s 290,347 votes out of a total registration of 1,318,377. All d parties combined recorded 770,019 voters. d implication of this is that if this State decides to be generous, it may dash out about 548,358 votes. We are still moving and scavenging 4 d votes wherever they are hiding. Let’s say some quick Hello to our Brother, Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, who couldn’t hold Buhari down despite his equally tall physique. Here Buhari polled 663,994 against Jonathan’s 419,252. Total votes cast came to 1,140,766 out of 2,013,974 total registrations. Do not say I told you, this State has some 873,208 unseen registered voters probably perambulating as we write. This journey is still long & arduous. Kaduna is a major war zone for d candidates because of its peculiar characteristics. Buhari’s supremacy was hotly challenged as Jonathan polled 1,190,179 against Buhari’s 1,334,244 votes . Total votes cast were 2,569,963 out of 3,905,387 total registered voters. Now wait for the good news of the kingdom; this beautiful State has 1,335,424 voters that it can conjure whenever needed or ready. If you think Kaduna was super, please, wait for the almighty Kano where no serious candidate can play silly pranks with the energetic & fearless Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso. In 2011, Buhari massacred Jonathan with 1,624,543 against 440,666. d then Governor and Presidential candidate, Ibrahim Shekarau even scored more than d President with his 526,310 votes. d total In all, 1,639,532 voters performed their civic duty out of 3,126,898 registered voters. Please, permit me to fast forward to the State of the Sokoto Caliphate where a floodgate can still be opened. Strangely, Buhari pulled merely 540,769 shots against Jonathan’s 309,057. A total of 909,808 voters came out of 2,267,509 registered voters. No one is able to explain this anomalous situation to us properly but some 1,357,701 unseen voters may decide to show up in 2015. Please, bear with me, you must be getting tired but we need to do this together because of my over-confident friends in Abuja who must have had F9 in Mathematics like me. Let me now give you the shock treatment and take you straight to the biggest theatres of war. I must warn that this not for the faint- hearted. Welcome to the heartbeat of Nigeria known as Lagos State where Jonathan polled 1,281,688 against Buhari’s 189,983 and Nuhu Ribadu’s 427,203. Wait for this, only 1,945,044 voters turned up out of 6,108,069 voters. In effect, Lagos can, in its true majesty, produce additional 4,163,025 out of its bag of magic. I wish there was space to display all the figures but it won’t be possible. But let me continue with the random sampling. Many of d States won by Jonathan or PDP or both, depending on why you voted in 2011, are not so easily available at this time. Take Oyo for example under the control of APC beyond the next Presidential election may prove too tough to handle. Only 863,544 out of 2,572,140 voters appeared in public but we don’t know the whereabouts of 1,708,596 potential voters. Ogun State is another interesting territory where 543,715 people voted out of 1,941,170 who registered to vote. Meanwhile, the largest turnout of voters was recorded in areas controlled by Jonathan but let’s examine the figures. Abia has used up 1,188,333 out of 1,524,484; Akwa Ibom 1,232,395 out of 1,616,873; Anambra 1,157,239 out of 2,011,746; BAYELSA 506,693 out of 591,870; Cross River 726,341 out of 1,148,486; Delta 1,398,579 out of 2,032,191; Edo 621 out of 1,655,776; Ebonyi 502,890 out of 1,050,534; Ekiti 261,858 out of 764,726; Enugu 814,009 out of 1,303155; Imo 1,409,850 out of 1,687,293; Kwara 414,754 out of 1,152,361; Ondo 486,837 out of 1,616,091; Osun (lost by Jonathan) 512,714 out of 1,293,967; Rivers (the largest State in South South) 1,854,116 out of2,429,231 and so and so on. This should give you a fair representation of what is at stake in the 2015 election. Politics is not exactly Maths but it is still a game of numbers. Those who think an incumbent President cannot be defeated should wake up from their self- induced coma. The mood of the Nigerian nation is very similar to that which swept Obama into power. Lagos and Kano combined account for 11,135,366 registered voters out of a grand total of 73,528,040. Only 38,199,219 people voted in all the States. There are 35,328,821 floating somewhere. Most of them are comfortably resident in APC States. My free advice to the Jonathan campaigner is simple; stop projecting our President as a sectional leader whose only qualification is where he comes from. Stop raining insults on Northerners and avoid maligning innocent Muslims. The religious card you wish and hope to play will never play out in favour of President Jonathan. You should concentrate on projecting the positive work and his Transformation Agenda. A President is the father of the nation. A lot of damage has been done by portraying him as a victim who’s derided by everyone except his own. The President’s handlers should worry more about how the goodwill of 2011 got frittered away in such a jiffy. Above all, they should urgently search for competent Maths teachers. Believe me, the figures are no longer adding up. |

How Buhari Intends to Fund His Presidential Campaign Former military Head of State, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), has said he would fund his presidential campaign principally from funds generated by friends, associates and well- wishers. It also expected that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-controlled states would contribute to his campaign should he secure the ticket of the party. A close ally of Buhari who spoke in Abuja yesterday, said Buhari is not the typical rich Nigerian politician with loads of cash to spend. He said: “Buhari is a poor man by the standards of the average Nigerian politician. I don’t know if you know that Buhari does not have a house in Abuja. He doesn’t have a house and sometimes I wonder what kind of human being he is. “He doesn’t have properties all over the place. In fact, the only house he has is the one in Kaduna and in his native village Daura.” Since he left office, the source said, Buhari has basically depended on hand outs from his friends and supporters. The former head of state who picked his nomination form last week to run for the presidency, had complained that the cost of the form was exorbitant. There are also speculations that he might not be able to fund his campaign. But his ally said Buhari would run a very robust campaign which would see him spending millions on transport, consultations and other aspects of the electioneering. “Buhari would not need money for ‘stomach infrastructure’ because the people freely mill around him. He doesn’t need a hired crowd and they don’t need any money to come to him. In short, they are drawn to him naturally. There are friends, well wishers and cooperate bodies that are ready to contribute their pennies to make Buhari president because they believe in him. The good will is just tremendous,” the source said. He said the declaration last Wednesday was an example of such affection from his followers. With some governors and party chieftains attending his declaration event, Buhari appears to be in an early lead as he seeks the party’s ticket. Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, and Kano State Governor, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, are the other top contenders for the APC ticket.

Buhari and Atiku meet in Kaduna over 2015. The two leading presidential aspirants on the platform of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, met at a meeting of the party’s northern states’ stakeholders in Kaduna over the weekend where they both agree to put in their very best to ensure the party wins in the 2015 Presidency.
