THE fault of a northerner... What have northerners done that some people get jittery anytime they are appointed to hold some positions? When Amina Zakari was appointed to serve as acting INEC Chairman, all sort of stories were fabricated and lies told just to tarnish the image of PMB. Stories like "she is PMB's cousin, niece and distant relation" were bandied around. Now the council of state has approved the appointment of Prof Mahmud Yakubu as replacement for Prof Attahiru Jega, again the appointment was vehemently criticised and avalanche of lies were told and pyramid of speculations were made. A sitting Governor came out too to criticise the appointment saying a northerner cannot be president and another Northern INEC chairman and went further to say such a phenomenon has never happened in Nigeria. Now look at the list below and try to make some synchronisation, let us see whether there was a time when we had a President and INEC chairman both from the south. You will notice that Prof Abel Goubadia and Prof Maurice Iwu both of whom from the south served under Obiano Presidency. For God sake when can we be sincere enough in this country to look at the pedigree and credibility of appointed public office holders rather than where they come from? When can we start looking at the noble intention behind every appointment by our elected leaders against our perceived and preconceived mischievous intentions. Let us always give our leaders the benefits of the doubts. Now look at the list below and see for yourself the names of those who served as INEC chairmen since independence and let's see who dominated who? Again you will notice that out of the 12 persons who served as Chairmen, only 2 are Northerners. 1. Eyo Esua (1960-1966) 2. Michael Ani (1976-1979) 3. Victor Ovie-Whiskey (1983) 4. Eme Awa (1987-1989) 5. Humphrey Nwosu (1989-1993) 6. Prof.Okon Uya (1993-1994) 7 Sumner Dagogo-Jack (1994-1998) 8. Ephraim Akpata (1998-1999) 9. Abel Guobadia (2000-2005) 10. Maurice Iwu (2005-2010) 11. Attahiru Jega (2010 - 2015) 12. Mahmood Yakubu (2015 - 20??) |

Abusing anybody is not the way out. Muslims Love and respect Jesus, but why the Christians hate Muhammad? |
All these are Misinterpretations, you better go and learn the meaning of Qur'anic verses. Even the Christians that disguise as Muslims to learn what Islam is in Higher Institutions of Learning end up converting to Islam. Those that are lucky saw the Light, and Nothing can change their minds. Go to School please. |

WHY I CONVERTED TO ISLAM- Emmanuel Adebayo, All time Togolese best footballer. I GOT 13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE: 1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur'an verse 4:171. 2. Jesus (pbuh) didn't eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7, and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur'an verse 6:145. 3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words "As-salaam alaikum" (Peace be with you), in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way. 4. Jesus (pbuh) always said "God Willing" (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur'an verses 18:23-24. 5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same. 6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground see (Matthew26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur'an verse 3:43. 7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same. 8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, see (Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur'an verses 3:84, and 2:285. 9. Jesus' mother Maryam (pbuh) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur'an verse 33:59. 10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days see (Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1. Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur'an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards. 11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say "Peace to this house" when entering it see (Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with "peace be unto you". Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say "Bismillah" and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum" (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur'an verse 24:61. 12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that it is an "Everlasting covenant" (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur'an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, "The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old." (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad). 13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke aramaic and called God "Elah", which is pronounced the same as "Allah". Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian. The Aramaic "Elah" and the Arabic "Allah" are the same. The Aramaic "Elah" is derived from the Arabic "Allah", and it means "GOD". "Allah" in Arabic also means "GOD", the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist. Now tell me who is the real follower of Jesus (pbuh)? Obviously Muslims. Now I believe am a true follower of Jesus PBUH. -Emmanuel Adebayo |

HON. PATRICK OBAHIAGBON HAS A WORD OF ADVICE FOR THOSE THAT ARE IMPATIENT WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI ON FORMING A CABINET. "Whilst appreciating the tenterhooks of political ventriloquists, carpetbaggers, economic chichidodos and a vaudeville of pundits as to what they perceive as the phlegmatic predilection of President Buhari in the constitution of his cabinet, I would rather deposit in their objurgatory piazza the Chinese apophthegm which urges, that sofily sofily catchee monkey. President Buhari must not be bludgeoned into precipitate, frenetic, fatuous and kamikazeic gambits that is obliviscence of the twelve years of political anomie and economic marshmallow occasioned by economic vampires and political pachucos. Am sanguine that a little more patience from Nigerians will prove that in Buhari they have found both a political palladium and an economic palisade" - Patrick Obahiagbon. |

Okeke Iyke wrote this marvelous note of confidence. Great sound mind of generation. "If the imaginative 20 million signatures from TAN could not stop PMB... If Dasuki and DSS cannot stop PMB... If hidden WAEC certificate cannot stop PMB... If cancer and death wish cannot stop PMB... If fake prophesies from Pastorprenuers couldn't stop PMB... If thousands of Jonathan support group could not stop PMB... If the dollar distribution could not stop PMB... If militants, OPC and MASSOB could not stop PMB... If Boko-haram could not stop PMB... If ekuke tribal fence sitters could not stop PMB... If opportunist Viju milk political analyst could not stop PMB... If war mongers, pipeline vandals and busters, secessionist threat could not stop PMB... What makes you think that 1 million Dino Malaye and Saraki can stop a moving train? Not even a combination of 109 senators can obstruct the movement of this 15 Million coach virgin pendolino train. No miserable senator or wife or ally can stop a moving train. Call it witch hunting! Call it intimidation! Call it any thing you like! We are hunters!!!!!! No witch will be spared. Dear Saraki, Your koboko is well soaked under the second Niger Bridge. We shall storm the red chambers soon. Go and listen to your party! Dear Dino, Ndume, and Yerima, You can even sleep in Saraki house in solidarity. We are not bothered. But you should know that the gentle stride of a tiger is not a symbol of cowardice. Dear wailers, You should commend PMB for allowing EFCC to do their job without interference. Though most of you are far away from your brain, it takes courage to interrogate a party man. Dear President Buhari, Keep doing it... 109 vulnerable adults cannot distract us. We the nomadic almajiri is in total solidarity with you. We your blind followers are satisfied. Keep leading us". |
