UCI is the same for every applicant for the rest of their lives. Therefore, your UCI remains the same for all the applications you submit to IRCC.

Abi you wanted to say Application number can be change!!!!

Please for family of 4, we got medical request for 3 and did up front for the 4th person. We got request for passport submission and also visa for 3. What could have been the problem and Have anyone experienced this kind of delay?

No doesn't count for possible positive feedback or fast track.

But if the Canadian citizen is your siblings with same surname I can say that can help to fast track in the past but I don't know now.

Also if one gets a job offer ..can you apply for open work permit instead of closed work? A closed work permit is issued to a foreign worker to work in a specific position and for a specific employer that is listed on the LMIA. An open work permit, on the other hand, lets foreign workers work in any position, for any employer, anywhere in Canada.

Lastly, the visa duration for sowp is it tied to one’s spouse’s study permit duration? Yes

My sister is having appointment at VFS on Wednesday the time on the appointment booking is 1450 does that mean 2:50?

I believe 1450 is: 02:50 PM using 12-hour clock notation, 14:50 using 24-hour clock notation.

I mine correct lol

Still on the matter please anyone who can help

People should please becareful of the agent you use to handle your visa application, before you embark please try and make a solid agreement between you and the agent to share your UCI#, Application#, Client Application Summary with you after he submit your application.

If the agent can't comply with all these please run ooo, I have a friend in this mess now.

A friend of mine used an agent to apply a visa for him in 2019, after all the match he didn't know either he was denied or ban.

Now he want to apply for a New visa and he didn't know all the information the agent he used in 2019 filled for him, no idea of UCI#, Application #, and Client Application Summary.

My question is that if this person want to reapply now and in other to avoid misrepresentation ie filling his correct information this time around and contradict the one the agent filled for him in 2019, what the person can do to avoid misrepresentation ?

Please how can we go about this? Is there a way he can retrieve his client application summary the agent filled for him in 2019 without UCI# ?

Also how can we know if he was denied or ban at that time in 2019.

Thanks samadex, I'm convinced too because the slip means alot and indicated he does biometrics because he can't be issued this slip without doing biometrics.

Please can someone write IRCC without UCI or visa number in an event like this?

Please what do you suggest he can do in a situation like this?

Now if he want to reapply without knowing what the agent as filled for him in the past how can we go about this to avoid misrepresentation or ban.

He did Biometric, probably he doesn't know what you mean by Biometric. Kindly ask him to remember. The slip has indicated everything

I know bro, I'm already gotten my visitor and student visa just trying to help him out.

The matter I dey talk so happened since 2019, the guy wanted to apply now but we don't know if the application that the agent did for him in 2019 is real,

I asked the guy if he did biometrics and capturing at that time he said no, now I'm asking if IRCC as started doing biometrics and capturing in 2019?

How can we confirm if the guy has any application with IRCC in the past?

A friend of mine wanted to apply for a visitor visa but he was told me that one agent applied for him last 4 years, as the whole thing look like scam or deceiving him.

Because he said he went to VFS office at Lekki and he was submitted his passport and I asked him if he done biometrics or capturing? He said NO, now he wanted to apply for a visitor visa. How can I help him to confirm if he as done a biometrics before or if truly the agent applied for him that time?

He said his passport was send back to him by his agent through a bus in osun state lol and since then he stopped picking his calls as at that time.
