They should stated years of their refusal

ezegold4we:
Pls Honourable's and comrade's in The House, we need your urgent assistance and reply,

My sister has already gotten her COS and they are about applying For UK caregiver work visa together with her hubby and kid's,

Their challenge is this, she and her hubby together with Their last Baby was denied US conference Visa in 2015, and in 2019,she and only her husband was denied France tourist Visa in February and they reapplied on march and Also got another denial,

My question now is This ,since it necessary that they must declare all refusal and they have decided to do that, but they don't know the actual day and month they were denied US Visa in 2015, can they just write that they were denied US conference Visa in 2015 together with their Last child of 4 months then who is over 7yrs now?? Hope writing only the year of denial will not pose any challenge for them?? Pls they need direction,

Secondly on the One of France in Which they were refused visa twice on February and March 2019, should They write that they were refused French Visa in 2019 or they should write that they were refused in February and they reapplied in March and got another denial?
Note==they did biometric capturing on 14th February 2015 at French embassy in lekki,, that's The only date they could remember,

Pls I'm sorry for the long explanation, they are trying to avoid making mistake,
Thanks for your understanding.

I’m little confused about this section asked OTHER INCOME OR SAVINGS before YOU and AUTUMN come to my rescue lol, I think I will write my salary account balance figures as SAVINGS there. Any way I appreciate you guys AFRICANKEL AND AUTUMN.

Africankel:

The total in your account accrued from your earnings is not classified as other income or savings. Except you have other deposits in the same account aside your salary, which of course you have to justify with evidence.

No, not as other income or savings. I only have one income source and I declare that. I only declared my savings account balance in my letter to show where my expense would be coming from.

27autumn:

Thanks for your contributions at least you took out of your busy time to respond. I agreed with you my brother but from others who have applied before usually put their account balance of the account they intended to use for travel as their savings.

For example 27autumn

Below is her response to questions I asked her Corning savings

27autumn:
No, i didn't declare my personal account as savings. I only declared the balance on the savings account i intended to use for travel.

Really? So the total balance in my bank account statement i wanted to use to apply is not Saving? So how the total balance accrued?

I accepted the fund accrued from my salary so definitely is my savings

Africankel:

No. Other income or savings referred to, are income generated aside your regular salary.

Wow that sound great and luck for you, Is your total budget of 1.37M is within your 2 month disposable income ? How much do you allocated for your flight ticket 2 ways ?

27autumn:
.
Total budget was 1.37M for 20 days trip. I did a daily itinerary as well, researched places to visit and did a budget breakdown as well. Opening and closing balance was about 200k each but I submitted my savings account as well, with more than enough in it.

Documents
Husband passport, BRP and school I'd
Letter of invitation from husband with consent to accommodate and his tenancy agreement
Employment letter and letter of intro from employer
Merged cover letter, renumeration statement, payslips, savings statement and salary statement together in that order
Then submitted cover letter separately again.

Note. My account was in chaos, so I had to explain alotttttt, basicly everything from how my salary and even expenses wasn't consistent, my lump sums and debits over 200k that are not expenses.

Sorry for the refusal Josy, does your monthly salary paid directly from your employer company bank account? What is the remark your employer used sending your monthly salary? Is there any other money comes into your salary account? Because Eco said there’s no satisfactory of the origin of these funds, maybe you forgot to uploading your employment letter or you did and doesn’t uploaded successfully? This your refusal is very straight forward you can reapply and address reason ECo refused your application and make sure you uploading your employment letters, payslips successfully.

To be sincerely with you Nigeria doesn’t have database for Birth cert. what Eco want to confirm from NPC is the date of issued. I agreed that you have registered for one from NPC office before , but to be candy with you .Nigeria citizen can get birth cert as much as you want in Nigeria.

I remember when my wife changed birth cert of our kids due to different names she’s using on her credentials and passport, she went to local government of our new residential along with previous birth cert to issued new one correspondence with the previous issued date.

Nothing like NPC as documented and moved to Abuja, because Nigeria doesn’t have any data base for Citizen not to talk of birth cert.

ezegold4we:
Oluwaloniglory7
The 2022 NPC will complicate the whole things and make the ECo to denied them. I have seen a lot of issued like this that ECO refused all the children because of the issued date on the NPC.

Your sister can do attestation of age with court affidavit or the best way is to go to local government around her to settle the scores ( do you decode what I mean ? ) Only legend can digest it.

Please don't submit 2022 NPC is automatic refusal. Very simple thing within twinkle eyes at the local government. If you are a Yoruba tell her to do ( sho wo kuduru )
per kids latest 3k to 5k

@ OLUWANIGLORY7,
thanks for your input, they have gone to the NPC office where it was issued, the authorities told them that they can't do anything about it becos file's already documented and moved to Abuja,
I think the Best thing is to follow a legal process like suggested by u and other's guys and swore an affidavit of age attestation from a court of competent jurisdiction and attach both her kid's birth certificate from The hospital and the one from NPC office, thanks.

House what someone can use as a supporting documents to demonstrate the source of OPENING BALANCE? I think previous payslips can do that .

More advise plssssss because ECO are now using this as an excused to refused many people
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AskGod07: 10:49am On Jan 10, 2023
Djbaju sorry I feel your pain, Firstly your SALARY is 5 month credit as ECO stated because you always received your salary on the 1st of the month right? For example if you want to receive June salary it will pay on the first of July ? i.e your December salary would be pay on the first of January right. But you applied for visa in the month of December which you supposed to apply after you receive your December salary on first of January 2023. Assuming now if you want to rebuild your account for next visa from the month of January, let say your January salary would be paid on first of February right? So you will count your 6 month from January till July because your June salary would be pay on the first of July.

As per the opening balance ECO using this as an excused to denied people, because there’s no how you won’t have Opening balance before you present 6 month bank statement. The only supporting documents to show prove of Opening balance as a savings in your account is your previous payslips.

Please don’t let any money enter your account apart your salary and have a specific monthly expenses to declared.

Note: where they asked do you have other income or saving in Visa application? You click savings and input your closing balance.

djbaju:
Good morning boss, thanks for the input, I attached below a copy of refusal I got from this forum and highlighted the part the ECO refused an application cos the applicant had 1.5M opening balance, while mine was 500k & still got refused, meanwhile I got a 6 months visa June last year with an opening balance of 300k and my cousin got with an opening balance of 500k 6months, 500k again for his 2 yrs renewal last year June, we submitted together, also my expense was similar to this that got refused now, so I believe Uk visitors visa just need some space for now, while I am running my account from now till the next 6 month I should have another 2.1 added to my account, is it advisable I indicate on my form that I have a saving and calculate my opening balance, convert to pound and fill in my form?

I don’t know how declaring savings works, or should I just take the money out of the account, but I prefer to leave my funds in this account cos I feel it is safe here.

I appreciate your time, and everyone opinion is welcome too.

Respect

Christhavemercy sorry for the refusal, if I may ask how much do you declared as your monthly expenses? and what do you stated on your application as your travel purpose?

I hope you apply for the visa by yourself? Or travel agent helped you to package it?

If they feel I don’t earn enough I wish they would help me tell my employers cos I agree with that cheesy
First rejection was in September, second in Jan 8th.
Thanks, I’ve left UK visa to God almighty.

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AskGod07: 4:54pm On Jan 09, 2023
I strongly agreed lilyflow, the question which is not in accordance causes ECo eyebrows.

lilyflow:

Take note. All the things I listed were the problems. Sudden drop in monthly expenses is a red flag that will make the ECO look at other things. Trust me, my calculations are right based on his own answers. However, the opening balance of 500k wouldn't have been an issue if he had explained his monthly spend properly.
Mind you, the issue here is not low or high opening balance. The issue is his answer to the question which is not in accordance with the calculations.

When did you received this refusal letter? I noticed ECO stated that your monthly salary is 444602.98 NGN , how much do you stated as your monthly expenses?

The exchange rate the ECO used is £1 = 489.269 NGN) , is pounds dropping down recently? Maybe the ECo mistakenly the exchange rate.

800,000k is fine for your proposed expenditures, ha this UKVI ECO are denied people anyhow ooo

christhavemercy:
UK refusal story

I just got my second visa refusal from UKVI.

The first one was refused with reason of ‘huge unexplainable’ amount (1,050,000) that showed in my statement. This is my house rent which came in and out (same day) of my statement.

Ok.. lesson learnt, no lump sum.

But this second refusal is shocking to me, see reason;
“”You state that you are employed earning 444602.98 NGN per month (£815.7 @ exchange rate £1 = 489.269 NGN). I have carefully considered the documents you have provided in support of your application.
You state you personally intend to spend 800000.00 NGN (£1,467.74) on your trip to the UK. I note that your proposed expenditure far exceeds your monthly disposable income. This degree of expenditure appears disproportionate to your economic circumstances, leading me to doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose stated“”

After noting that my husband will be sponsoring the entire trip and including his pay slip and statements which far exceeds my own by many multiples, he has a UK visa already. He’s livid because we both can’t understand this reason.
I also included my payslip, salary account and savings account with above 3.7m (no lump sum deposited)

Joor oo.. please house where did I go wrong in this application? I applied for 6 months visa for a 5 day stay (honeymoon). Is spending less than double of your net income a reason for refusal? I checked the Appendix V as the highlighted and it’s not showing anything like that. It’s like this UKVI personnel thinks Naira is as valuable as Pounds
How much should have been appropriate?

Also why wasn’t I refused the first time for that reason even though I stated that I would be spending 1.2m with the same salary.

Kindly advise me for future sake (or learn from me), although I won’t be applying to UK for a long time for my personal sanity.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AskGod07: 3:13pm On Jan 09, 2023
I disagreed with your analysis about Opening balance lilyflow, because many people are gotten their visa with low opening balance. As at the time you haven’t apply for a visa you can spend your savings for house projects, solving family problem. At times this so called ECO do complained about large amount as Opening balance.

But when you are ready to apply for a visa you can use substantial amount as a opening balance, and build your 6 month statement account to correlate with your monthly salary and your monthly expenses.

Note: If Eco notices some discrepancies in your bank account that is when they will start defining different things in your bank account.

lilyflow:

There is a lot of problem with your account statement and declaration. Your opening balance is not consistent with what you have declared as your monthly spend. Your opening balance means the total money you have in your account as of the time of the statement. So it means from January to July you only saved up 501k meanwhile you say you spend only 100k monthly. If that is the case, your opening balance should be 350k multiplied by 6 months which is 2.1m minus interest. So, if you have 501k it means for the first 6 months of the year, you spent over 100k per month.

Now let's go to your monthly spend for the 6 months in review. You spent less than 100k per month. This makes it obvious that you kind of worked on your account to reflect what it is reflecting. How did your monthly spend suddenly drop so low compared to earlier in the year where you either completely exhausted your salary each month or spent more than 300k.

Now to your salary. Yes your statement of account only shows 5 months salary taking into consideration that your salary comes in on the 1st of each month. So, the salary paid on the 1st of July is salary for June, that of Aug is for July and so on. Except you are saying your employer pays you each month even before you do the work. Lol. Your sixth month salary would have been on the 1st of January.

These are the issues.
