You prefer the transportation of refined petroleum products via tankers, putting pressure on our roads and infrastructures; or via pipelines that are easily traced and burst these days? At least, a pipeline know to be carrying crude is not as attractive as a pipeline carrying petrol.

And I've not even started on the economics as regards job creation- reducing the propensity for ppl to indulge in violence; sundry industries tied to the refinery springing up; the fact that we would be producing the products at lower costs thereby equalising the prices of the petrol and other distillates throughout the country.

Sometimes we get too bugged down in sentiments to see things clearly. But its ok, you keep on expanding your mind.
