Integrity actually has nothing to do with religion. The only grouse that the christians have with him and which I also share their view is that he is an islamic fanatic. That Abuja is as planned as it is today is because of that man. He is also reforming the civil service in his state so that they don't just become redundant money gulping ventures like they are in Nigeria generally. I used to tell people that there are only three guys who can beat Atiku in an election in the North. With or without a campaign-They are PMB, El-rufai and Tambuwal. If Yaradua were alive he would have been the fourth person. These guys value honesty more than whatever money you promise to give to them and they hold these guys I mentioned above in very high regard when it comes to that. As for the other states, I only know of Tambuwal and Ganduje as the prominent people who their results have not yet been released. As for Ganduje, he'll lose whether or not they decide to run the elections for the areas where there are cancellations. For Tambuwal, he may also likely lose because the majority of the sokoto people love Wamakko more than any other politician in Sokoto state(Even more than Attahiru Bafarawa). Wamakko made Tambuwal governor by throwing all his support behind him and he is now in support if the APC candidate.

PDP is winning Kogi no doubt. We just heard of APC game plane but haven't heard of that of PDP. Let me burst some people brain by telling them Saraki have a number of friends in Kogi who the will ensure PDP comes out victorious. Kogi east have 52%-54% of the total number of votes in Kogi state as usual they will go for the alliance with any zone that wants to play along. If APC gives Kogi west it ticket, I see Dino working against them heavily.

They just lost then. Kogi east which harbours the igala speaking have an electoral value of 52%-54% of the entire state, so this their trick won't work. The PDP candidate which will be coming from Kogi east will pitch his tent with either of the zones who want to play along that's Kogi central or west. They imposed Bello same can't happened when we go to the poll's.

Lokoja
Kogi/Koton Karfe

Ijumu (where both Senators Melaye and Adeyemi are from)
Yagba East
Yagba West.

Of these 7 LGAs, the last 5 listed above make up the Okun part. Let me list for you the government officials from the Okun part;

The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly,
The Secretary to Kogi State Government,
The State Security Adviser,
Commissioners for Finance, Agric and Women & Social Development,
DG Media and Publicity,
SA Political Matters,
SA Youth Empowerment and Student Affairs,
And of course SSAs, so many of them.

Add the administrators of the 5 LGAs one of whom is the ALGON Chairman and LG Secretaries and other administrative members of each LGA.

You see the 5 LGAs? SENATOR DINO MELAYE WON IN ALL OF THEM. ALL 5!!!!

Let us come home to Lokoja LGA. The biggest ward in the LGA is Ward A with 23 polling units. SENATOR DINO MELAYE WON IN ALL 23 POLLING UNITS. And went on to win Lokoja LGA making it a total of 6 LGAs won out of 7. Leaving Kogi/Koton Karfe for Senator Smart Adeyemi.

Let me put this in a clearer context. Dino Melaye was not available for his campaigns. Let that sink. Just like he was unavailable during his recall. Yet the recall fell like a pack of badly stacked cards. As a matter of fact, that was when I personally told myself there must be something about Dino I have refused to see because I was disgusted by his many dramas and theatrics.

But his people stood by him. And what I find instructive is that all the top government officials in these LGAs allowed the wish of their people to prevail.

They are not afraid of being sacked.

They upheld the wish of their people. Not just for the Senate but even some seats for the House of Reps which went to different parties. I know the Yagba Federal Constituency seat went to the ADC.

In 2015, Senator Dino Melaye of APC bear Senator Smart Adeyemi of PDP with a margin of some 2000 votes. In 2019, Senator Dino Melaye of the PDP beat Senator Smart Adeyemi of the APC with a margin of over 17,000 votes. It is democracy. The rule is number.

This is how to play politics. Election no be war. Democracy is a game of numbers and choice. One won through the art of persuasion through performance and seduction to win new converts, not brute force.

Great People of Kogi West, take a bow. Take a graceful bow for you are the beacon of hope for our democracy in Kogi State.

Congratulations to the good people of OYO state for refusing to be an ANNEX of the burdillion ole. Alao Akala see your life. Rasheed Ladoja et al three bosa for you all who formed a coalition to defeat APC. We will continue to pray for Oyo and her governor-elect Engineer Makinde. Oyo people thank you ones again.

The north will keep ruling Nigeria if those of us in the south do not change our mentality about elections. Our views in the south is also mostly influenced by the christian religion and pastors who usually advise against christians involving in politics because it is perceived as dirty in Nigeria. All these need to syop and southerners need to be more enlightened and educated on electoral processes in order to stop all these social media wailings whenever they get a lleader they think in not worth representing them.

1. You made mention of El-rufai sorry I doubt if you know the demography of Kaduna. The whole of Southern Kaduna overwhelmingly voted for Ashiru the PDP candidate, mind you southern Kaduna is a Christian dominated area and all the news of herdsmen attack in Kaduna comes from that zone. Majority of Muslims voted for El-rufai while Majority of Christians voted for the PDP candidate who also is a Muslim. So don't get it wrong by saying El- rufai was voted based on integrity and performance.
2. Borno State is 70% Muslim 30% Christians. Votes from Christians went for PDP during the presidential elections but their votes were mostly voided, this is a fact. Borno politics is not something you seat up south and comment on.
3. Bala is presently been investigated by EFCC if you don't know. The issue in Bauchi is complicated than what you Southerners think. The present governor is
Igbira from Kogi state by tribe. His father worked in Bauchi, so his family settled in Bauchi. They never knew this until when he was elected as a governor in 2015. He contested against the same Senator Bala but the "APC CHANGE" tsunami that blew the north then, he the present governor benefitted from it. Only Gov Dankwanbo and Darius Ishaku survived it. On this same forum, when Hon. Yakubu Dogara decamped from APC, some people who don't understand how politics in the north play out were quick to say he just buried himself politically by defecting not knowing that Dogara comes from the Christian dominated zone of Bauchi. Dogara is loved by his people, they can die for him because he is the highest Christian office holder in Bauchi state. Elections in Bauchi has been declared inconclusive because the entire result from Tafawa Balewa LGA were cancelled. This is a Christian local government among which Dogara represents. The present governor didn't campaign there because he already knew the won't vote for him. But the Returning officer of Bauchi state whom I know very well as an APC apologist went ahead to cancel the whole result for the LGA even when the RO and Electoral officer of the LGA were able to calculate and reconciles the exact result with acceptance from party agents that was even after APC thugs attacked the local government collation office and took away the results sheet.
4. Each time I hear Southerners commenting on politics as it relates to the north I laugh. It is more easy for a northerner to determine the outcome of elections in the South than it is for a Southerner to do same in the north. Politics is the north in States such as Kaduna, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe and partly Bauchi and Borno religion plays a big role of you don't you.

They don't know anything about the Electoral Act and INEC rules and guidelines under which they are contesting elections, they assume INEC is as emotional and irrational as they are.
Even basic arithmetic tells you that Inec can't declare a winner when cancelled votes are more than the margin of victory. But PDP people must wail about inconclusive declarations.

In Kogi state a whole Dekina LGA the presidential/National assembly elections didn't hold because of violence, same also in Plateau state results from two wards with over#120000 eligible voters was not included in the presidential elections result announced for Plateau state. Same also goes to numerous states from north to south. Mind you this results were not included as canceled votes but INEC went ahead to announce the presidential elections result. I do not have a patron. But what I know for sure is that PMB will never stop EFCC from picking up Ganduje once his immunity is removed as a sitting Governor. Tinubu has not held a public office in the past 12 years. He was arraigned by your PDP government led by Obasanjo, yet they failed to get him for corruption. Akpabio is still in court with EFCC. If people like you should reject corruption in the judiciary maybe we will be able to move forward, instead of seeing everything along party or tribal lines.

Governors have been announced in 20 states so far. APC won 13 and PDP won 7. This is good for democracy. However, these governorship elections also show how the north is more sophisticated in terms of elections and voting patterns than the south. They vote individuals based on their clean slate and not based on party sentiments. This is why ganduje , saraki and others can lose elections while people like Orji Kaulu and Ibori still dictate for their people in the south. And for those of you who don't have PVC's but come here to rant on how results are being written in the north, please check the gubernatorial results of each northern state announced to see the consistency in numbers with that of the presidential elections irrespective of the party that won. These guys carry election matters on their head but we in the south sit down in our houses and use our calculators to vote and when it doesn't turn out as we permuted, we accuse a party of writing results.

Sophisticated my foot when Gov. Dankwambo of Gombe the best performing governor in north east lost a senatorial election. The REC didn’t go contrary to what is stipulated if he decided the winner by popular votes cos non of the candidates got 25% in 18 LGA’S.
Stop this propaganda and join the winning train cos aligning with a loser won’t do u any favour.

For those that have little knowledge of Imo State political configuration; what played out dat consummated in PDP Ihedioha victory can be explained out in different ways. First, Imo are politically very conscious people that have overtime learned to guard their vote as they did against Ohakim then to usher in Rochas who deceived them with APGA party . The main point was to ensure that Rochas dynasty was decimated as they all saw d candidate of AA, Uche Nwosu who is Rochas son in law as an extension of Okorocha grip on power. To add salt to d injury Nwosu is from same Orlu zone like his father in law and Orlu zone has had 16yrs at Douglas house (8yrs Achike Udenwa and 8yrs Rochas). Rochas greed and pride coupled with his underperformance was dia4 d vehicle for his downfall. Both Uzodinma and Ararume are seen in d eyes of d public as people of very questionable character and 419ners that are also perceived to belong to d occult world. The APC too taught Okorocha a bigger lesson and with his senatorial seat hanging in d balance, d Iberiberism ambassador will go down very soon just d way Nnamdi Kalu has always warned him that his romance with d Caliphate will be his undoing one day. Just remembered d video of d IPOB man humiliating Rochas in London and u will know that d hatred against d Mr Statues was deep rooted.
