jammyng: The palace shouldn't misunderstand my going back to Nigeria. I've tried as much to get a job but I haven't and the only nairalanders who have tried to help me are justi4jesu and valentony. I PMed the igwe and some chiefs and they didn't reply me. I have 1450aed left with me and with my family situation in Nigeria, they can't afford to send me money again. My mum even took a loan for me. If I renew my visa for 900aed and pay rent, I won't have money left for feeding. I know the situation back home, I can't get money from there, so it shouldn't be suggested. I have a job of 30k in Nigeria which takes care of things though no savings. I can't afford to stay in Dubai for the second month without a job.

my brother i really feel for you but God almighty knows best. Your decision to come back is the best. @justi4jesu and valentony, u people have prove who you are to the entire house. When you really know who people are, is when you have contact with them. May God bless u people for the service to our brother in the house.

heightscool: nigerians are duped to come and work in qatar, when they come here they get dissapointed. once you arrive in doha aiport a nigerian will collect 500usd instantly from you in the name of two months house rent then you will be dumped in a room filled with jobless nigerians. when your money is exhausted you will have no option than to turn into a hard labourer roaming the street and begging for job. God forbid you meet an egyptian man then you will witness pharoah, you will work with out mercy the egyptians will be shouting YALA YALA meaning fast fast.when you're done before the agreed time they will refuse to pay you insisting that you work more till 8hrs or more than. i call it MORDERN SLAVERY. these visas are free and its a labour visa. BECAREFUL BEWARNED

bros there is something i still want to know, those few Nigerians living big in Qatar, what exactly are they doing. Pls i really want u to ellaborate more on ur arguement with Igwe ogakpatakpa(Not a travelling agent) because we so much believe in Igwe. heightscool: fellow citizens of nigeria don't come to qatar with any promise of a better job. fellow nigerians in qatar are using their brothers and sister in nigeria to make money, when the girl comes here she has no option than to become a prostitute and the boys turn to hard labourers... please nigerians should stop flooding to qatar. If you eventually come to qatar you will be desperate more than a prodigal son because there is no better means of survival here in qatar,... only few nigerian expatriates are living fine here and they will never help you... since january multitude of nigerians has been coming to qatar because the nigerians here in qatar brainwashed them to come and make good money, they get through this with the help of visa agents in nigeria who has choosen to fraud their own brothers and sisters.... if you have any question please feel free to ask. i stay in qatar too

ogakpatakpata: Honesty, l will leave the decision for u to make, coming to dubai with your master's degree and other professional certificates wont really make much difference, dubai is already saturated with American's/European's,Asian's, Arabs and migrants from Africa and different part of the world with same or even higher qualifications. Gulf Experience might be a negative for u, but that doesn't mean u can't come and try ur luck, l think u hv good qualifications, but dubai places more premiums on GULF EXPERIENCE. Again, l am sure u will find a job in dubai that will pay u more than 80k u are been offered in nigeria, why dont u seat down, weigh all the options available to u and make an informed decision. Futhermore, seek the face of ur creator, ask him if dubai is the right place for u to come now, whatever he tells u , pls stick to it, because HE KNOWS ALL THINGS, SEES ALL THINGS AND HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS UR FUTURE.

pls bros are u aware of suspending of 5years qatar visa by their government?. I have plan to secure Qatar visa, then from there i will be entering dubia to look for job instead of going from Nigeria to dubia just for one month permit, which the probability to get job within the stipulated period is not totally feasible.

I have three relatives (2 male and 1 female) planning to go to Dubai after explaining things I learnt on this thread to them. But my concern is the issue of getting job within 1 month of getting there.
Please is it still easy to get job within one month in Dubai since Etihad says they can only be issued 1 month visa? Please I need reply from those presently in Dubai. God bless.

BEMMATRAVEL: Please Nairalanders be careful not to fall into the hands of any agent who tells you to bring money for QATAR 5YRS WORK PERMIT.Please we understand that it has been suspended by the Qatari government because the employment pool for immigrants has reached its peak.
However there is hope for the future as it is only temporary.

The way people conclude easly on matters like this one is very bad. I doubt if that man can just kill his wife like that. I know this is purely domestic violent that resulted to the death. This issue of taking money happens in almost every family including those of u making noise here. The problem here is that both of them over reacted on the issue that resulted to death. My advice is that women should know when to talk on certain issue because i dont see reason why she should support her son as if his a saint. As for the man i dont see reason why u should lock ur late wife inside room that she belongs to u. Who told u that women belong only to their husband in african culture? Rubbish!!!. I expect u to show some level of remorse and maturity. For son, u are a big disappointment, how can u allow ur father to abuse ur late mother for not taking her to mortuary, even not allowing relatives to see her. Pls is better u report the case to police as soon as possible before u been accused of conspiring with ur father to kill ur mother.
