Please how many times can someone call ukvi because I called them yesterday but the person that attended to me was not helpful at all. Though they said decision has been made but no other details and I’ve not received any mail. My biometrics was on the 26th too.

please call them and go to TLS if its possible and make sure your case is escalated. Had to go there on three occasions, I even went to Vi, although there's no point going there as the place is almost deserted. Guards attended to me and told me to be hopeful my passport was among those dispatched in the morning.. Headed back to TLS and was told mine was among those coming cos there's a way they can check.

Go to your Gov.UK Application, click on "Green Provide Biometrics button" and you will be rerouted to TLS.
There you will see "TRACK" as an option.
Done.

we didn't submit any document for proof of accommodation but theres a place where you will be asked about accommodation plan while filling the application form..hubby wrote " I will be staying with my wife in an hotel for few days before we complete our accommodation arrangement.

Applied and did biometric on 13 sept (walkin +spv)
Received collection mail yesterday 16 sept

Documents submitted for hubby (dependant)
Marriage certificate
My affidavit and newspaper publication for change of name(This is to proof my status as the married partner as required on our document checklist)
Five pictures ( printed on an A4 paper)
My cas
Statement of account (in my name)
Tb cert

Please do I need to include proof of accommodation when applying as dependant? We are yet to secure accommodation there and we plan to get bed & breakfast for the first few days.

Since he hasn't applied for visa then no problem you can apply together but before you do that read about dependant financial requirement for tier 4 visa application

The situation (as far as you've said) is you having different opinions about applying together or separately unless there's more to it.

If he hasn't, then you can submit together. As simple as ABC

He has submitted a form for CAS or so. He has not applied for visa. You won’t understand my situation o

Has he submitted and paid? If not, just amend and he can put in your details. (Obviously with the appropriate maintenance )

If he has however submitted and paid, you will have to wait till he gets his BRP.

There's nothing confusing about this. He's not left yet you are missing him already

I’m so confused. As it is now I have to wait till he gets his visa. But I don’t even know if I should apply before he leaves or when he gets to the UK. When will be the best time to apply?

He selected No. Left alone to me we would have applied together but you know it was beginning to get confusing with the so called people that claims to have been applying for people and insisted that it is better to apply separately.
But do you know if anybody has successfully applied and gotten the visa after the partner got his/her own?

Can I apply as soon as he gets his visa? Or will I have to wait till he gets to the UK before applying seeing that we already filled the form that he’s not applying with his dependant.

This is so untrue. UKVI rules are simple. It's either you meet up with the requirements or not. The latter obviously is grounds for refusal.

At the end of the day, it's up to you really as I cannot decide for you. Either together or separate, it doesn't make any difference whatsoever.

Even if you want to go for good, you are not the first lol and wouldn't be the last. Visiting visas fall more in this category than any point based visas.

People have been saying that the chances of rejection is high if we apply together as they might think we are going for good. That is not the case at all. What do you advise? When should I apply? I’m getting fed up.

As long as maintenance is met when applying together (or even separately), it doesn't make any difference.

Hi guys. So because of the different opinions here and there I won’t be applying with my husband. In fact he already submitted the form where he was asked if he’s applying with a dependant. My question is can I still apply as a dependant later? And also how soon can I apply after he gets his visa? Before he leaves or after?
