If we have top player in a top club wey dey select when and where to play for us, is there any point to it? And will you ever get the best out of him?

His call-up will be at the discretion of NFF and the coach, but for now, I no too dey rate am as anything, because once again, I've never actually seen him play for us. Great player in club, does not always translate to great player for country.

For now, I am indifferent towards him, if he come or if he no come, na him sabi. AFCON would have also been a great way to boost his market, no be to siddon for EPL dey follow Watford chop L
I understand your sentiment perfectly
Let's him settle down in Watford first he has faced alot in the past season for Germany. I understand he was not the only one that decline even olise declined an invitation cos of club commitment. I hope Dennis all the best anyways.

Then he can continue doing what is best for his career in the EPL, and we can stick to players that have the Super Eagles in mind.

He is not the only player that can do what he does for the Eagles, he is not even the most important player, and he definitely has not done anything special for the Eagles that he must follow Nigeria to any tournament.

A player must not play internationally. He should remain in Watford and do what is best for his career there till the end of his career.

Maybe na only am get career out of everybody wey dem invite for AFCON.
Safari I understand your point perfectly
And I share of your sentiment
But it a win-win for Nigeria if he continue to play for Watford in his red-hot form; we are gonna be having a top player in a top club he is already linked with top European club already, it not that we really miss Dennis, I prefer the way him playing every week for Watford than for him to sitting down on the bench in super eagles I hope you share this sentiment too.

Dennis might go to the world cup. Go and mark it.

No coach will tolerate a stubborn and disrespectful player like him. He doesn't want to play his heart for the super Eagles.
He doesn't owe no one no apologies
He did what's best for his career, he was on red-hot form, he needed to be played and maintain his form, and since the new coach can't guarantee him an automatic shirt then he did what's best for him. Any player would have done that that is a very perilous moment in his career, one wrong move can be fatal.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/585152/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-race/

This is another official stat

Characteristic 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021*
White 457 399 370 457 201
Black 223 209 235 241 113
Hispanic 179 148 158 169 63
Other 44 36 39 28 8
Unknown 84 204 202 126 495

From 2017 till 2021 white has always been the highest number of people shot to death by the police in the United States.
Police shooting fatalities should not be treated with ethnicity or racial bigotry it's a national crises it has nothing to do with racism or shii like that.

...if a white cop kills a black man he is a racist but if a black cops kills a white man he's just accidental...

You ran straight to the internet to pull out an article you couldn't break down and understand; have you factored the population different in relation to the percentages.

Did you factor in the population of black Americans against White Americans then break down and you will learn that that backs are more affected due to smaller population compare to white.
All these one nah useless shalaye

Some 5367 fatal police shootings were reported by the Washington Post from 2015 to May 2020; missing details on race/ethnicity or age left a total of 4653 deaths for analysis.

Half the shooting fatalities were of Whites (51%), followed by Blacks (27%), Hispanics (19%), Asians (2%) and Native Americans (nearly 2%). Given the racial/ethnic proportions of the US population, the disproportionate killings of BIPOC point to a public health crisis, say the researchers.

This is a stat by Washington state police department
Washington is a black dominated city
49.0% of people living here are blacks
With 19600 Nigerian

Mathematically 51%( of the whites) of shooting fatalities of about 4653 deaths is 2373 compared to the 1256 (of the blacks ). So numerically it obvious there are more white death than blacks

Now on a more wider view on a more wider view throughout the whole country now ( cos Washington is just a state out of many states)

Average deaths per quarter were highest among Native Americans (1.74 pqpm), followed by Blacks (1.49 pqpm), Hispanics (0.74 pqpm), Whites (0.57 pqpm) and Asians (0.25 pqpm).

Native Americans were 3 times more likely to be shot dead than Whites, while Blacks were more than 2.5 times, and Hispanics 29% more likely; deaths among Asians were significantly lower than among Whites.

Now there happens to more native Americans death from shooting fatalities than the blacks

Note PQPM IS per quarter, per million.

Am not trying to say undermine the fact that blacks are victims of shooting fatality but not as much as you guys overhype.

This is not a matter of passion , because you cant be more Nigeria than a Nigerian. We have a culture and a style and that must be upheld. Your white man almost ruined our football culture and passion. I was so frustrated with your white coach I nearly gave up on watching SE play. Thats what a foreigner will do to your legacies , though , not all.

If Rohr was in charge Onyekuru , Nwakali , Olayinka will never be invited but these are the people who are flying Nigeria's flag and will marry a Nigerian woman to continue our culture. There are issues tied into these than you could see.

I am not saying don't invite foreign born but why must it be the leftovers and not the best. Are we INFERIOR to England ? I am very confident England doesn't have more talents than us, they are just better organized.

And , you are wrong about foreign born dominating the Nigerian team , because we all our big guns are Naija born and these foreign borns are just spectators that will never displace the main players. Secondly , no top flying English player will ever agree to lace booth for Nigeria.

Iwobi is struggling to stamp his presence in a mid table club.

Aribo's plays in lowly rated Scottish

Ajayi Championship.

Maduka a disaster waiting to happen.

Ekong is benefiting more from Nigeria; very easily replaceable.

Aside Ebuehi and Aina both who could be easily replaced Nigeria has the full potential to groom a pool of talent that could rule the world....England can only dream of these. So , I am proud of the talent that exist in our system and I don't think we need any foreigners to help us play better, unless if you want to help some rejected English players of Nigerian descent.

I find that funny because what we saw yesterday was the philosophy of Eguavoen in action. It is his mindset on display.

If you watched the tactical philosophy video of Eguavoen, you will get that the goal came straight from his play book.

The tidy build from the back, the long ball to the flank. The cross. The offensive setup and support getting to the box to finish.

That is 100% Eguavoen.

The coaching crew came together to bring his own philosophy to life.

With a different coach, you get a different approach.
I agree with some of your assertions but we can disregard the intelligence of the other technical crews, rohr woes started immediately salisu was suspended, you can't undermine or disregard the timely advice or this dude of these technical crew.it reminds Brendan Rodgers and kolo toure scenario.

Firmino plays as a striker for Liverpool without a pair and it has not limited him for creating chances for others.
Firmino is playing deep grin grin...mane and Salah can effectively play as a CF...with firmino dropping deep the formation switch from 4-3-3 to 4-3-1-2 mane and Salah tends to operate more centrally. Liverpool wingers don't 'hug the lines' or perform like a traditional wingers.

Eguavoen has said it all but am surprised seeing some trying to defend Sadiq performance but it was obvious he didn't bring any synergy to the team....the same thing Ejuke who I rate highly nothing special about him against Egypt...Nwakili came in and his presence was not felt....Chuckwueze damn too poor and need to sit on the bench in the next game.

Kudos to Maduka,Aina,Omeruo,Sanusi and Ekong, they did well...Ndidi brought his A-game. for the first time in GWG..Aribo classic...Iheanacho proved once again that he is the best GWG finisher...Awoniyi did his job well, possibly we are not going to miss Osimehn much...Simon did well.

Eguavoen should maintain his XI with exception of Chuckwueze with Iwbi coming in,we need to see Olayinka even as a sub...it seems Onyeka is a direct replacement for Ndidi in case but I thought he should have come in as sub against Egypt.

Good game from eagles.
Nwakali had an immediate impact, he almost gave an assist and his passes were on point, the technical crew really tried, from team selection to the substitution everything was just on point.
