No I am actually not. Kessie is more power and physical plays. He drives forward with his power. Gives simple passes (nothing out of the ordinary), takes up position outside the box to hit shots. And uses his strength pretty well in duels.

And he is also a Penalty merchant. Yaya Toure was wayyyy more. Much more.

Why do you think Milan got Tonali? Or why they have Bennacer?

Man abeg. grin
I brought a report from bleachers report
Below is an excerpt

The impact he’s able to have in the middle and final thirds are too great to waste him in a defensive capacity, with his boundless energy, forward thrust and excellent movement all key parts of La Dea’s brilliant Serie A season

All d attribute being attributed to him; boundless energy, forward thrust, and excellent movement are all attribute of a technical and skillful player.

Kessie is a more rounded and robust player( infact I call him a general midfielder) he fits in any Manager's style,He is just been wasted at AC Milan, he was fully utilized by Coach Massimo Drago at Atlanta. The truth is there is no central midfielder currently as technical and well rounded like kessie in the super eagles if you check the link with the excerpt you will find video evidence with his use of good skills.

Kessie has more skill than Nwakali?? Oh because he is at Milan. Lol

Kessie is all power and Brawns. Not much brains.
Oga DR.
Kessie all about power and brawn ??
Are you joking grin grin

The impact he’s able to have in the middle and final thirds are too great to waste him in a defensive capacity, with his boundless energy, forward thrust and excellent movement all key parts of La Dea’s brilliant Serie A season

Raw Potential

One thing to note from those two games is that he doesn’t shrink from contests; Kessie will stay true to the way he plays and force himself back into form. That way of playing, when it works, can be devastating. For now, you can accept that a 20-year-old can have disappointing games now and again.

Credit: Sky Calcio
No matter how it’s going, Kessie works extremely hard, shuttles up and down the pitch and tracks back diligently. He identifies the players he needs to track quickly and sticks to them, utilising great speed to keep up and great strength to jockey with them. He seems remarkably effective in 50-50 duels; he nearly always ends up with the ball once he enters such a contest.

He’s happy to receive possession in tight spaces, and his one-touch passing keeps Atalanta’s midfield tempo high. Given La Dea have a speedster in Alejandro Gomez operating as a left-sided forward, the ability to maintain momentum is vital, as all the good work he does could easily go to waste should his colleagues take too many touches.

Kessie tends to play as a No. 8 in a 3-4-3 (or 3-4-2-1), operating alongside a partner. His runs from deep with the ball are good, his passing is decent and he understands the importance of his role. When shifted forward to make a difference, he takes up good positions just outside the opposition area and often finds himself on top of loose balls

The above excerpt is from bleachers report ( one of the greatest sport site on earth)
Kessie is a dynamic player; every Manager's dream he fit in perfectly to any system.

I thought it was on this thread that it was agreed that we have a dearth of Creative Central and Attacking Midfielders from Africa doing it in Europe. We have much more of CDMs/DMs in Europe from Africa. This is because there is this general mentality that African Midfielders are only good for power plays and Grits. This is why the likes of Kessie goes to Milan, Haidara goes to Leipzig and then Mikel goes to Chelsea and got converted from AM to CDM.

Even Ziyech is pushed to the Wings and not allowed to operate much through the middle

Kelechi Nwakali is highly technical and a brainy kind of MF hard to press and hard to track down because he operates from deep in midfield. Tracking a DLP will mean you sacrificing spaces/gaps behind you for opponents to exploit and before you can hassle the DLP, he has picked his pass.

The lad is not physically built or one for gra gra football which the likes of Kessie and Haidara live for. Lol...

How some don't see this but are only concerned about where one plays, using that to judge actual footballing ability is really shallow. Football is a lot deeper than where I play. Lol
Ziyech loses the ball alot... Ziyech has nothing less 15 possession loss per game... Playing Ziyech as a AMF in a high intensity game is disastrous

why will Tottenham or even Kane agree to a swap? Especially Kane who wouldn't dare piss off the Tottenham fans by going to another London club. Levy won't even dare it.
He has pissed off Tottenham fan the moment he become non committed to the team... Lukaku is obviously looking forward to a reunion with conte, cos I don't imagine Conte signing a striker apart from lukaku... Kane swap will be actually dope though.

Kante had injuries too, immediately rushed back to the team, if he is that important to viera team then he won't be on bench for 4 games and making the squad in 6 games. Crystal palace is having dope games without him, will he bench callagher that he is on red hot form? let's not forget callagher has been keeping olise on bench.

Ejaria na my boy, but fact is he has not earned it. After his wonderful brace he has been almost non existent in the Championship this term. He has not made any progress since living Liverpool.
He has not earn wetin??
Why una dey analyse football like
Emmanuel Dennis had how many goals with koln last season?? Zero goals now he is the hottest prospect in the biggest league in the world (EPL) He has been consistent in the championship for the past 3 seasons he is arguably one of their best midfielders,he is on course for greater things he is just unfortunate to be in a very stupid team, he had more dribbles than danjuma last season in championship now danjuma is playing in laliga,Reading is a non ambitious team, olise was just fortunate cos of his age and of course media hype that's all.

Is that why he has been there for ages? He is almost 25 and still can't make that jump unlike younger players like Olise and Eze. He is a big championship flop.

By the way, are you too scared to confront me with your true moniker? grin grin
@ d bolded which true moniker grin grin
Biko am well known on Chelsea thread and the romance nah once in a while I dey come here grin wink

Oliseh and eze they made the big jump are rotting on crystal palace's bench I would rather have a player playing consistently in a lower league then to have a player benched in a big team, ejaria has been consistent for the past three years now, he made 19/20 team of the season also he has the highest number of dribbles last season or so,baba the dude has been doing well his market value speaks for him,he worth 4million euro 4 times higher than nwakali all time high market value. Two goals already this season, abegiii stop mkupuru mmiri.

Ejaria the chronic championship flop has also gone through our youth team, I wonder why that hasn't gotten him a place too. You have also gone through the Nigerian system and I wonder why that hasn't gotten you a place in thale Glass-House to change things instead of blabbing and barking here like a rabies dog from January to December, nonstop
E no go better for person who supply you mkupuru mmiri, ejaria championship flop? I no blame you nah reading wey no dey in form I blame despite all this he is still best midfielder behind John swift.he has bagged two goals already this season.

If you think we are in a financial mess, then consider that our season may derail from here, leading to us dropping of the UCL, dropping out of the top four, firing the Manager and having to pay him out.

I understand your views perfectly, let's see how January window will be,we need to sell and need more reinforcement too.

Me I am not disappointed with his stamens because I knew for long he is not built for top team, he doesn’t have the mentality and skill set to play for a top club, his level of play is for above average club and league. Na because football don spoil due to stat mangers and medias, lukaku doesn’t have top player skill set, the way he plays is pain to the brain, he shouldn’t be robbing shoulder with top strikers if not that football have poor assessment.
His style is just brawl without brain.

No we are not. Inter can have him back for a cut price and we can face other options. It is better to have an average squad building towards a goal, than have a record signing who's expressed unhappiness at being at the club, and is expected to play. We will lose far more than any sell-back loss.

Nothing can fast destroy the dressing room as what Lukaku has done.
No club in the world would sign lukaku for anything more than 60m imagine a loss of about 35m+ that's just too much considering the fact we are deep in financial mess.
