I just looked at the pictures of aborted babies in the link above, and my heart bleed for those babies who would not have the opportunity to experience life. Everyone is born with a destiny to fulfil, and their's has been terminated. Abortion is murder! There is no smooth way to butter it up. Just because the foetus cannot protest against abortion, doesn't give anyone the right to kill them. A mother who beats her child to death is similar to the one who kills hers from the womb. Those ones who encourage young girls to have abortions, if they lose their wombs in the process, and after getting married in future cannot bear children, they will start accusing innocent people in the village of witchcraft. As for rape cases and molestation, i still don't push for abortion. Carry the pregnancy to term, keep the child if you can, or give them up for adoption. Don't deprive the child of the right to live. That's my opinion!

This issue is a controversial one, the best thing to do is to sincerely pray for God's leading. As for me, I believe it is wrong to use jewelries. By boring a hole into the ears, we are simply telling God that He did not do a perfect job in creating the females, and as such we are helping him. God is perfect, and we shouldn't try to modify His creation. I totally agree with one of the comments made on this thread about if after death, one finds out that God doesn't mind the use of jewelries, such person will still make Heaven. But, if on the other hand, one finds out it is a sin, and the person died using them, what then? I pray God gives every one the grace to do what is right.

I am a lady so the question of cultist friends does not arise. It is ok to be protective of your sibling but I don't see anything wrong in it. My brothers can date my friends. It's their life and I'm not going to marry them.

woodcook: Well I wouldn't stop my sis from dating my friend. Reasons being that for me to call anyone my friends means that we share same interest and same principles in terms of morals. So op if you are a cultist I will take it that your friends are, hence, the need to protect your sisters from you fellow bad friends. But my question is who then protects your friend from you? If you are really concern about your friend dating your sis, I suggest you start hanging out with the right set of people so that when one of them approach your sister you will be proud and support them. Secondly, I have learnt over the years that if you ever tell a girl to stop seeing someone you have inadvertently told her to keep seeing the person. So if you ever get caught in that ugly situation I suggest you turn a blind eye while you keep an eye on your friend without making it obvious to your sis. In general please denounce your evil ways that's the only way you can attract good friends.
