FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu and Governor of Niger State, @HonBago today signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Produce-For-Lagos initiative. The Produce-For-Lagos initiative is a long term strategic partnership between Niger and Lagos State(s), where Niger State will produce food items (Paddy, Tubers, Legumes, Grains etc) and Lagos State will be position itself to be a major organized market (off takers). The Farmers in Niger State will have a ready market for their produce while Lagos State citizens can be assured availability and price stability of food items. In the Long term, this initiative will create a ready supply of farm produce directly to the ongoing massive Lagos Food logistics in Ketu Ereyun, Epe. #LagosNiger #GreaterLagosRising

JulianBond007:Very easy , there are alot of procedures to confirm if you are through indigenous of lagos. Firstly,you need a letter from the oba of the town you claimed you came from in any part of lagos, so I'm sure the oba will give none indigenous of his town a form, secondly you take that letter to local government to get another letter verifying your identity that you are from that local government. You will take this documents to bursary board you will be screened by elders/chief from your town, different questions will be asked then lastly you must tender a documents of any your family property that is upto 100 years to the board 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Today, and often, I remember my mentor and the man through whom I cut my teeth in politics, the Tafida, Shehu Yar’Adua, on his 81st post-humous birthday. I often reflect on what our society and democracy would seem like were he still on this side of the divide. I know the Tafida to be an ardent believer in democracy and its abiding principles of human rights and shared prosperity. His passion for Nigeria and his commitment to our diversity is bar none. We can only honour the memory of his relentless efforts in cancelling the vistas of ethnic politics in Nigeria and for his heroic work in returning our country to a fledgling democracy.
