Some of his projects

Evestar200: his lost sense came back early last yearHe finally got the right political support he needed. Urhobo Wadoo. |
PapaBrowne: To be fair to Uduaghan, he seems to have woken up in his second tenure. You just stole my comment. Uduaghan of 2007-2011 is not the same man today. The last two years in Warri is a clear example. Besides Infrastructures, let's thank God for a level headed man like Uduaghan. The peace in the State and low temperature of politics is simply priceless. Just imagine having an Osho or Amaechi in the state. The state will be burning like hell already. |
kel4soft: Can we stop posting pictures of cities in Nigeria which is not even on par with Angola or any of our fellow OPEC member countries. We should keep posting and exposing the neglect of these villages by our political class.Afam asked you to name the Village. |
Omo_Tier1: Contrary to what you think, I have worked in Nigeria and I know in and out how Nigeria system works both in the government and private sectors.Your company is very free to make any decision. That is the power of the free market. Nigeria was corrupt before I saw born according to history. We are attracting our fair share in investments, the numbers are there for you. By the way, the integrity of most employees in Chevron Nigeria is unquestionable. |
gramci: so na garri to drink be your problemI did not say that. I only asked, if there was a difference between garri for eba and the one for drinking. |
Afam4eva: It still beats me why our structure in Nigeria is still the way it is when things would have gotten better under a decentralised system whereby states and towns will have their own leadership like it is in the US. if we had Mayors running these towns, towns like otukpo won't look the way they do.People are afraid of local control in Nigeria. That's why we spent billions every year and nothing changes drastically. I hope this NC starts a new page in this country. |
Afam4eva: Is Otukpo really Idoma though. I've always thought so but yesterday when i went to buy drinking garri, the guy that sold to me told me he was from Otukpo but said he's not idoma and i was surprised. Any otukpo person in the house? Is drinking garri different from garri for eba. You people will not kill me here. ![]() |
Omo_Tier1: The senior staff in Chevron you are talking about cannot afford to put up such houses on His base salary + allowances that is why they collaborate with government ministries to falsify contracts, crude oil figures, and steal from the common employee in their company by deny them what is due them in real terms. You have not worked in Nigeria before, no need wasting my time with empty talk. Have a happy new year ![]() |
Omo_Tier1: So because it belongs to a man from South South, it is okay for us not to question HimThat thing you call house is what a senior staff at Chevron puts on the ground in Warri within 2 years of employment. Please tell me something I don't know. ![]() |
Nigerians never remember yesterday. |
Pharoh: You will think i am not also from delta state like you but unlike you i call a spade what it is and hope to put my state in the right path.I don't care where you come from, this report had nothing to do with ethnic politics as your comment was trying to imply. Call a spade a spade all you want, it will not change the fact that delta State is progressing. |
Sloan: By all means, Ekiti is right up there but that is not the point here. What I am curious about is that you said not to compare Edo with Delta State, how? Is it in terms of the local economy and productivity? Well, props to hardworking and honest Deltans who toil day and night to earn their living but in terms of the aggregate economic activity measured by the Internal Generated Revenue, Edo State is ridiculously far ahead of Delta State. There is no need to be bigoted about numbers, numbers don't know about your emotions or state of origin, it is simply facts! Again, Edo is way up there in terms of IGR but it gets better, in terms of the ratio of the IGR to total revenue, it is in fact up there in the top 10 in Nigeria! What that means is the people contribute significantly to whatever revenue accrues to the state. In contrast, Delta State is practically in the bottom percentile with Bayelsa in terms of the economic activity of the people as it is really down low. The only saving grace of Delta is the oil wealth it has - just like Bayelsa!Sloan, we have hatched the IGR debate on this forum already. I am not going to waste my time with you on that. The data is public knowledge, you can keep spinning all you want. This is not about attachment to State of Origin, just the simple facts. Delta is not only way ahead of Edo,despite the fact they keep 99% of all the assets of the old Bendel State. Show me one area where Edo comes close to Delta. Abi is it the refurbishment of mission and ring roads in Benin ![]() |
Uyi Iredia: I disagree. Such are recurrent expenditures which aren't sustainable where the basics of social infrastructure eg cheap housing, clean water, good roads, dispensaries/clinics, skill acquistion centres etc have not been met. Please do not applaud mediocrity. You are the one calling it mediocrity, Clean water, good roads, clinics and skill acquisition centers are also on the state's government menu. We can chew and walk at the same time in Delta. |
Pharoh: The state is such a disgrace that you would think they would have shun ethnic politics and focus on serious development but the reverse is the case. I don't know what the government is subsidizing transportation for if not for the free oil money that is there to throw around in place of regulating the industry for quality private sector participation. Paying subsidies up and down because there is oil money to throw around, how i wish the whole oil and gas just dries up overnight self.A disgrace to you and your bad belle brothers. Nonsense. |
Omo_Tier1: Delta state has gone to the dogs why my beloved Edo State is jetting ahead at full blast with nearly all round development! If only we had similar monthly allocation as Delta, by now we would be top 5 state in Nigeria but despite that we are still top 7 state in the federation when it comes to development indexLet's get one fact straight in Nigeria. Delta state and Edo have never been on the same level. Please compare your Edo state to Ekiti. |
It belongs to a man from the SS, there must be complains and bad belle. While right under your noses, una god dey steal una blind. By the way Jonah needs to upgrade that house asap. A Senior chevron staff in Warri will not live in that building. |
Was Tambuwal ever a member of the PDP. The PDP has already accounted for his departure since 2011. ![]() |
ndu_chucks: Humpty Dumpty kwa? GEJ don sufferWhen did we fall?? was it during Buhari's maddness, IBB's cocaine regime, Abacha's killing chambers or Obj's one man rule? |
Omo_Tier1: It is obvious why PDP pulled out of the election! It is part of the grand strategy for 2015 that failed woefullyThe electoral tribunal is there to seek cancellation of the Anambra's election. That's the way the system works. |
Olaolufred: FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND REPORT TO US.The absence of PDP is the reason why APC has not bombarded us with their press statements?? |
1wolex85: We all know how this plays out. Inec should have cancelled the elections immediately they spotted the irregularities the same way the 1st election of the 2011 general elections was cancelled.I hope you know Inec does not have powers to cancel elections, after results have been announced. Let the tribunal do its job. |
1wolex85: Then the anambra elections should be cancelled! That's why we have election tribunals |
Why has APC not put out their usual series of Press releases alleging rigging. There were soldiers every where in Yobe and the federal government did not use them to rig the elections Soldiers in Edo, Ondo,Delta and Anamabra were all accused by APC of detaining their agents, beating up their supporters and thumb printing ballots. What happened in Yobe ![]() |
1wolex85: This your answer is not clear at all. There was large turn out, a supplementary election was held the following day, yet 500, 000 votes cast. How did this reduce drastically from 2011, we are talking about a diff of over 600, 000 votes. I just need a logical explanation for this. There was a large turnout, yet tons of complain of people not been able to vote. I will wait till 2015 to make any comparisons. The failure of Inec in Anmabra makes this a must for me. |
Usbeel: Get it right into your heart, with or without state of emergency, all Northern states must participate in 2015 election! Yobe(estimate population of 2,532,395people) people, you have done a good job, let the world know that 80% of you embrace the state of security and came out for voting!!! This is just the beginning GEJ.Not a problem, come 2015 you will do the voting while PDP does the counting and announcement. Nah One Nigeria, no case for alarm. |
1wolex85: Did over 1million people vote in anambra state in 2011 and 500, 000 in this year's guber elections that generated so much interest? How does that add up?The Anambra election played out in front of our eyes. Inec was not prepared. I will wait till 2015 to make a comparison on the turnout issue. |
[s] soe: O.D.E...so the Nigerian Army owned by the FG allowed the so called massive rigging abi? no..telll me na...500,000 people voted in Anambra including a bowl of rice and a bucket of pammy...for your info...have you forgotten that boko haram has not killed everyone in Yobe? oh..you thought your plans will work abi..hahahah wait till 2015...mind you, Yobe is a very very big state compared to anambra...and in a local govt election, everyone is more interested as this concerns their various communities more crucially. Bigot!!![/s] |
Sincere 9gerian: So up to 1.2 million people voted in a local govt election conducted in a state under state of emergency? Now compare with the last Anambra gubernatorial election where only about 500,000 voted. Is APC saying 990,000 voted in Yobe state yesterday? That's like 85% turn out in that desert state of the North. ![]() |
[s] soe: APC will take over PDP...HA HA HA HA..in fact..i see AkwaIbom State Governor, Akpabio...crossing over to APC..I see many more Govs crossing over to APC...alas, the time has come, unless GEJ does the right things...he needs a new set of media advisers...Okupe and Abati will run him down..he needs people who are elderly and very subtle...he needs people of very high maturity and intellect to canvass for support, to sweet mouthly bring people to his side...that is all that he needs..otherwise,,..it will be all hell lose as Mass decamping will soon take place in the SS and SE..just watch and see.[/s] |
Orlando Owoh: Benjamin Adekunle dancing at the party after capture Port Harcourt from Biafra in 1968.See how you display your inferior complex. You this Shameless liar |
Free and fair, as APC are Victors today. ![]() |
