mrphysics: one of the guy I met in Kano told me to convert to Islam that Islam is the best religion. he was bold enough to tell me that. I just looked at him and whispered to his hear that no religion is better than each other.
Kano is a very religious place. they mount speakers even in electric pole. El-Rufia can't enforce that his bill in Kano here.
you can't count five houses without seeing a mosque. Here is full of mosque. their ladies don't come outside and you Dere not work while holding a lady here in Kano. if she like let her her your wife, they never born you to try it. inside keke napep, you are not allowed to sit touching a lady though some motorists don't care about whether you touch them or not.
Another thing here in Kano is that the fence of every house is almost the height of the roof of the building. no matter how local the house is, it must have a fence as high as the roof. The Emir of Kanos house has a very high fence such that even if you are in a storey building, you wouldn't see the inside. They do it to protect their wife, they don't want you to see their wife or daughter.
And you don't visit them. if you manage to get any female friend in Kano, you don't visit her, she is the only one to visit you, else, if any Muslim man see you in his house, just know that one of your hand is gone.
[till tomorrow, sai gobe, or sai da safe , it's a Muslim way of saying,"good night, till tomorrow". Allah iy kai'mu, Amin[may God make it to happen] that is not the way Muslims greet that's Hausa language not even Arabic(illa god in) talk less of Muslims. Muslims greet Asalamualaekum at any tym. probably you don't know your story about the Hausa's is to them and not to Islam. |

Christianity Etc › Re: RCCG Repairs Lagos-ibadan Expressway by atrix4g(m): 8:32pm On Nov 05, 2015 |
Our attention has been drawn to a
report titled, Gridlock: RCCG
Repairs Lagos-Ibadan Expressway,
published on page 5 of the Punch
newspapers of Thursday, November
5, 2015.
The report, quoting an unnamed
source at the Redeemed Christian
Church of God, RCCG, had claimed
that the ongoing palliative work
being done on some bad portions
of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
was being handled by the revered
church.
Contrary to that claim however, I
will like to state that the ongoing
palliative work on the Lagos
Ibadan expressway is being
handled by the Ogun State Ministry
of Works and Infrastructure.
Concerned about the plight of
commuters on the ever busy
Lagos-Ibadan expressway, the
Ogun State Government, on
Tuesday, embarked on palliative
work on some bad portions of the
expressway.
Not minding the fact that it is a
federal road, Governor Ibikunle
Amosun, worried about the plight
of commuters who spend hours in
traffic gridlock on the road,
directed the state Ministry of
Works and infrastructure to
immediately fix the bad portions of
the road and also construct
drainages.
In giving the directive, the
governor was particularly
concerned about the need to
immediately bring relieve to the
road users especially as the
Redeemed Christian Church of God
and other churches on the ever
busy road are also billed to hold
events that will attract millions of
worshippers this weekend.
Speaking during an inspection tour
of the ongoing palliative work
being carried out by the Ogun
State Ministry of Works and
Infrastructure on the federal road
at about 1 am on Wednesday,
Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Ogun
State Governor said, “In the real
sense of it and for me there are no
federal people, the people plying
this road and other affected
Federal roads within our axis are
our people.
We are all Nigerians and we are
already collaborating with the
Federal government to contribute
our own quota to ensure that this
road is fixed.”
It is surprising, therefore, for any
journalist to claim that the multi-
million naira job being carried out
by the Ogun State government is
being done by a religious
organisation.
The intervention job on the ever
busy expressway is an initiative of
the Ogun State government to
rescue millions of Nigerians who
spend hours in the gridlock
occasioned by some bad portions
of the road.
It is also on record that the Ogun
State government had carried out
similar palliative measures on the
Lagos-Abeokuta expressway,
Sagamu-Ogijo-Ikorodu road and
other federal roads within the
state, because the state is
strategically located in such a way
that goods and passengers going
to all other parts of the country
have to pass through the gateway
state. |

LEGITLAYO: Boss The first bolded. I no understand, how can the scholar of anatomy be on 4.00. Shebi it's the returning set resuming 200level nau bah?. Have the best 10 crossed already?
And the second bolded. I know some guys that gained admission last yr. One even opened a thread showing his results. He had 8A's and 1B. Another had 7A's and 2B's. Altho that was in their first semester, how come someone else became the scholar and not either of them? I wanna believe that there's actually no way you can drop after attaining such feat in first semester.
Sorry for my questions tho... . I'm just inquisitive.
Ps: they called the dude Dr zed. I'm sure you'll know him. uhh, that has always been known with anatomy students time immemorial. That's the scholar after crossing. for the med, I had a friend then that had a 4.9 in his first sem and later didn't cross finishing with a gp of 4.45. so anything is possible |

bashydemy: WHEN THE CHRISTIANS SAY "DON'T JUDGE" When a pastor converted two storey building to 6-storey without following due process and his building collapsed to kill over 100 people, you will say "DON'T JUDGE". When a pastor's Jet is nabbed while trying to purchase dangerous weapons from a black market, you will say "DON'T JUDGE'' .When a pastor's wife file a divorce on the basis of Adultery of her Husband you will say "DON'T JUDGE" When a pastor dies and 27 Ogboni cultist surface in the church to claim his corpse, you will say "DON'T JUDGE" When a Pastor divorces twice and another female member of his congregation claims She has had many abortions for him, you will again say "DON'T JUDGE" When a Pastor and a "Man of God" is banned from entering UK due to proven allegations of extortions of members abroad, you will say "DON'T JUDGE" When a Man embezzles millions and EFCC nabbed him, and He confesses He donated some millions from the fraud to his Pastor and the Pastor said the money cannot be refunded because it has been given to "God",you then say "DON'T JUDGE" Then a female member and a co-traveller with a pastor said her pastor had carnal knowledge of her in a hotel room in UK while they went for a trip, she also provided the recorded voice of the Pastor begging for sex and saying his own wife is not good sexually at home, You then say "DON'T JUDGE" Why then do you condemn Boko Haram, if you must never judge? Let see the number of people who will judge me. lol. Nice one |

Islam › Re: Solatul Fatih....right Or Wrong To Recite? by atrix4g(m): 9:12am On Sep 22, 2014 |
AlBaqir: ^Salatul Ibrahimiyyah is an excellent salat recommended by the holy prophet (peace be on him and his household) to those set of companions who asked him how they will seek prayer (salat and baraka) for the prophet (peace be on him and his household) as commanded by Allah.
That doesn't mean ONLY salat Ibrahimiyah is VALID and no salat ala Nabiyy can be performed even if its not recorded in the book of hadith.
Here's a case: In sahih Muslim book 007 number 2667 and 2668:
"Abdullah b. ‘Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) entered upon the state of Ihram near the mosque at Dhu’l-Hulaifa as his camel stood by it and he said: Here I am at Thy service, O Lord; here I am at Thy service: here I am at Thy service. There is no associate with Thee. Here I am at Thy service. All praise and grace is due to Thee and the sovereignty (too). There is no associate with Thee. They (the people) said that ‘Abdullah b. ‘Umar said that was the Talbiya of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him).
Nafi’ said: ‘Abdullah made THIS ADDITION to it: Here I am at Thy service; here I am at Thy service; ready to obey Thee. The Good is in Thy Hand. Here I am at Thy service. Unto Thee is the petition and deed (is also for Thee)."
It is crystal clear from the above-quoted hadith that Abdullah Ibn Umar aside the Talbiyah of the holy prophet (saws) added his own wording. Has he perform bid'ah (HARAM)? Absolutely NO! The prophet (peace be on him and his household) open the door and give guidelines. Therefore formulating within this scope is no sin or offense.
Looking through different form of salat ala Nabiyy recorded in the books of hadith, the commonest inseparable ingredient in ALL is "seeking blessing for Muhammad and his household". Any form of salat without this is invalid. Sheik Nasir deen al-Albani stressed this in his book where he talked about 'salat ala Nabiyy'; suprisingly, he even criticized those who only say salat on Muhammad but not include his household.
Now looking at Salatil Fatih, every single content of this Salat has a reference in the holy Quran or authentic hadith; and it contain "seeking blessing for Muhammad and his household".
The controversy surrounding this salat is what we should condemn not the salat itself. Controversy like: its reward is greater than Quran or it can replace obligatory salat etc _____________________ 1. Salat like: "Allahuma sali ala Muhammad wa ala aalihi wa ala ashabihi wa salim (or wa ala ashabihi ajma'in)
2. The saying of RadiAllahu anhum or Ridwanullahi alehi after mentioning names of sahaba.
3. Tarawih prayer which the 2nd caliph established and tagged "Bid'a Hassana"
Those underlined phrases and practices were NEVER recommended or commanded or done by the holy prophet. Muslims formulated these themselves. This is however a slap to those who always label everything not recorded in their books of hadith, a BID'A and HARAM.
Note I am not of the opinion that salatil Fatih is superior than salatul ibrahimiyah. My point is there is NOTHING wrong with salat Fatih and besides those who recite salatil fatih never abandon salatul Ibrahimiyah esp during Tashahud in their daily obligatory and nawafil salat.
Wa salam have u heard of the importance attached to it or wat is said as its excellence like, it has reward than the ehole quran 40tyms etc |
