I never said the Bishop instructed the pilot on HOW to fly, I only said the bishop told the pilot WHERE to go. If the pilot had continued to go to Kano, the plane's second engine would have knocked midair because they still had more than 30 minutes airtime to reach Kano. Lagos - Kano I heard is 1hr45 minutes...

That's my point, a passenger CANNOT tell them where to go!. The only way that's possible is IF the pilots told Oyedepo something like "Hello Boss, one of our engines just developed a fault although we're capable of flying with a single one, should we keep going to the destination or we should look for the nearest landing location?"
Only then is anything he has to say welcome or maybe that also happened and Oyedepo simply left that out to make the "Testimony" sound more awesome!

Even if that's how it went it might not really be as miraculous as presented because there's a possibility the Pilots had an inkling the other engine would soon fail and asking Oyedepo is a way of them preventing panic cuz they might've known Oyedepo would tell them to land on single engine anyways as he values safety above the destination so it might be akin to telling a kid what he'll chose between being flogged or an Apple

Planes are designed to PERFECTLY fly on one engine, you can even take off and land on one engine with next to no discomfort so long the wing on which the affected engine is still intact. its part of safety regulations so Losing an engine during flight isn't as serious as you're describing.

You can tell a pilot what to do if you own or rented the private jet but telling him what to do is akin to an almajiri telling Buhari what to do! The pilot would simply listen and tell you your recommendations are noted but you should get back to your seat for the sake of your own safety while they deal with the problem using the training they've been taught. You're conflating telling your car driver what to do and telling your pilot what to do. You're able to tell your driver and he has a duty to take your opinion/command serious because you know how to drive, you have a driver's license, you can fire your driver on the spot if he refuses your command and take over the driving of the vehicle

In a turbulence/emergency situation the opinion of the passenger is absolutely useless and unwelcome. its the passenger that would be taking instructions from the piloting team not the other way around

Don't ever conflate how a driver of a car listens to his boss with how a trained professional pilot listens to the jet owner.
