KayTheHuman: What aspect of Management Consulting do you want to go into? You did not waste your five or six years in Medical school. The are Medical Doctors who are business managers. I know Doctors manage HMOs and the likes. So you have a career path already. I will advise you start practising your profession as a Doctor, start studying for MBA and have your focus on being a corporate doctor rather than an "hospital" doctor. Search for vacancies that are in line with your career path and stay focused. You will get there. You can also follow Doctors who are on that path on LinkedIn. It will help. 2 Likes |

goshen26: We should be careful with the way we give advice in a public forum. I attended an interview today without knowing the company name. I mean there was no company name in the mail sent to me. I called the number in the mail and the man told me they purposely didn't include the company name. I searched google for the address thinking a company name would come up, but nothing did. I checked the sender's profile on LinkedIn, he appeared credible. So I went for the interview. It turned out to be a top level (C-level executive) recruitment and I was shortlisted for the final stage.
