1) that's the policy on mobile app, but you can use same token to increase your limit via Internet banking, and to login. You need a username created for u by the bank, and your 4 digit pin + token otp=10 digit pin...

2) bank does it for anybody, assuming you mistakenly sent money to a person account, eg u use uba and sent money to a perosn ecobank account mistakenly let say a 100k and above, if u immediately go to ecobank and log a complain, a post no debit will be place on the account, the person can't withdraw from the account. So you have to option either the person gives his consent via writing and stamped to refund the money to the originators account or u get a court order(magistrate court) to instruct the bank to move the money back to your account... So assuming the person has withdrew the money before u got to bank, they will simply tell you the person has cleared the account empty, if its a small sum they might place a standing order on the account to debit anything that entered until the whole amount is recovered... If it is a huge sum the person bvn will be blacklisted...
A case where this girl is not saying her whole truth, the case will take time maybe 2years and above and if she loose the case she would have spent more than x2 of what was stolen from her, but if she wins she can get damaged in reasonable sum, but she won't win trust me coz she is not saying the entire truth

Ask questions where you don't know, don't just assume that you know.
They are being regulated by the CBN and there are guidelines that they follow as stated.
They have requested for the remaining funds to be put on hold so that the receiver won't have access to it, pending when a court instructs the receiving bank (where the funds are being held) to move the money back to her bank. Hence the reason they asked her to get a court order

That is the limit that you have chosen to be doing. Ask questions if you don't know.
Other banks have token too but some can do up to 5m without even a token (eg gtbank)

Nobody is supporting any bad thing...the investigation is there.
If your limit is 500k it's because you want it that way. You have the right to increase your limit to any limit that will enable you run your business. All you need do is request and then you sign an indemnity and your limit is increased.
If you have a token you can increase it by yourself upto 5m.

The 800k plus was salvaged from the bank it was transferred to, and not her own bank account. It means the person that received the funds already used the rest of the funds

bank won’t allow you to go more than 200k Naira for a day transaction.
Am not sure you have done 200k before to talk this kind of thing.

With a token device you can do more than 200k (according to zenith bank and first bank)

If you see the time the three transactions were initiated, there was time to have restricted her account if she had the phone and was receiving alarts. Her phone was definitely with the person till probably the next day when she woke up and saw the alerts. Or the person even deleted the alerts, meaning she only found out when she loggedb into the app.
She just wants to hold the bank responsible (deep inside her she knows the truth) because that is the only way to recover the money. If she accepted to have "lost guard" then they will probably leave her to carry the cross.
She once worked in the bank and definitely knows how everything works

I just watch a replay of an interview on channels. Where a professor summed up one of the biggest problems with Nigeria.

He said the problem of Nigeria isn’t corruption, the problem of Nigeria is a low intellectual capacity. It is this low intellectual capacity that leads to corruption.

What he is basically saying is that Nigerians don’t think right. Our current total govt revenue is less than $30b a year, our 2023 budget is $49billion at the official rate. But in reality it is more like $24b. We need to find An extra $30-50b a year MINIMUM just to arrest the poverty rate and population growth. Apart from the wastage on subsidy, there is no govt saving Anywhere that will make any difference don’t let anybody deceive you playing to the gallery.

It is not saving that will help Nigeria it is innovative new sources of revenue. Anyone who hasn’t got the ability to raise revenues and innovative ways to finance our social and infrastructure deficits is deceiving you by telling you he will stop leakages and channel the money into development. How much leakage can you stop when your entire expenditure is $25b and you need an additional $50b a year?

Like The professor said the problem with Nigeria is intellectual deficit. If you raise an additional $50b….even $20b. Even if they steal half of it, you will feel the development in the economy.

Ps I am not advocating corruption waste or theft, I am just pointing out the real issues and the intellectual deficiencies in the wastage and savings argument.

Govt does not earn enough revenue for any plugging of leakages to make a difference.

If you start a very viable business and put your friend to run it. This your friend already know what you are worth. He has a mentality that you are already very comfortable and doesn't need the returns from the business. He decided to use the business and establish himself and every other person around him.

Debt is an instrument of wealth creation. Debt for investment is good debt for consumption is bad. So when you talk about debt, you have to distinguish what kind of debt you are talking about. Debt to pay fuel subsidy is suicidal and it is the root of our problems under Buhari. The debt incurred on subsidy every year is enough to build 1 refinery a year! If he had incited debt to fix our refineries, we wouldn’t import fuel, forex demand will be less inflation would be lower and there would be less need for subsidy because we aren’t importing fuel. Debt to build rail roads and schools is good debt because it will pay itself with a more efficient economy a better educated population who will earn more and pay more taxes.

When I see someone with an aversion for debt for debt sake or who talks about saving and cutting wastage to fuel Nigerians growth, I know the person is not serious. The is only 1 way to solve Nigerians problems going forward. Raise revenues, stop subsidies and heavy debt hopefully financed with increased taxes/ revenues. Anyone who thinks they can take Nigeria forward by cutting wastage is a clown. At most you save $1b a year. Nigeria needs to find $500-$1trillion over the next 10 years to arrest the rot. Your savings is not going to make a dent. Only carefully targeted debt investment and massive revenue increase can solve the problem.

Any clown telling you he won’t travel with entourage is just playing to the gallery, I am not saying he should cut down on entourages but how much does entourage cost? When you hear someone talking about saving when you are undeveloped or having an aversion for debt for debt sake..trust me the person has no clue.

You need to find a way to raise revenues by or inject an average of $50b a year in the public and social infrastructure of the economy and someone is talking about savings….that’s a sign of small mindedness…..someone guaranteed to keep the country in poverty..

No matter how good they are, if you fail to cut cost, you may still find it difficult to come out of the problem. Year in year out, our budget is always the same (a recurrent budget). More money is being spent on things that don't bring returns.
