Do righteous deeds and accept that Abraham, Mosses, Jesus, Muhammad etc (Peace be upon them all) are messengers sent to warn mankind. None of them declare himself God, Son or partner to God.
This path has been the same paths of those that will achieve heaven by God grace.

I have watched patiently throughout last week how a lot of folks a shading Christians and pastors over offering, I would have remain silent is I had not encounter muslim comment against Christian. In fact I see that as high-to-heaven hypocrisy.

It would have being good if they (the muslim) remain silent over the issue considering the fact that most of their clergymen are serial extortionist.

How do i arrived at the above?
If you have ever attend a Muslim Ceremony or prayer meeting, you will understand what I mean. the Alfa invited to preside over the meeting is not coming alone, he will take at least three more along with him, and the these will take turns to raise prayer point.

Raising Prayer point by the invited Alfas is NOT FREE, they will call on everyone on sit to pay for the prayer he raised. This is not donation as they will still call another prayer and asked guest to pay for it. There some worse scenarios, and embarrassing where the alfa will invited the celebrant over asking him to drop money for prayer, if the are not satisfy with the amount, they will hold him to ransom until invited guess help him to raised the money up. Dont think they will stop there, they will even raise prayer for the dead, even pray of forgiveness, You will be asked pay.

The most funny aspect is the time time they decide to collect Owo omogo during naming ceremony. That is Pay for prayer so that you child will not be stupid when he grow up.

Now all the money collect by the alfas is going straight to their OWN pocket. If they need to raise donation for mosque they will do that after they had collected their own in which turn-out is usually low because they had earlier cajole people to empty their pocket, which mean they will not be able to raise fund for Mosque.

Now you judge

MOST of our pastor are not tithe collector but a tithe payer, they are have their own Job and have descent income. For example the V.P. Y. Osibanjo (Pastor) who rose to the apogee of a SAN cannot be said to be a tithe collector.

But I can categorically say that MOST of the Alfas rely on the above method to either fulfil or complement their daily bread.

I am a deist and became a deist in 2013. Right here on Nairaland mainly due to atheists. i decided atheists did not refute the argents for God but could no longer ignore the good points they made against religion.

I reverted back to Christianity 2-4 times between 2013 when I became a deist and 2016. Each conversion was brief and tied episodes of psychosis (I am a bpd/schizophrenic patient). In fact 2017 is almost at an end and if I seeit out as other months will be the only year when I have not 1) had a psychosis (had a close shave though) 2) reverted to Christianity.

So I have gone back to Christianity but it wasnt a geniune change and a discerning person in striklymi saw it while other Christians and myself made hasty conclusions. I wanted to even give myself next year to.come out but changed my mind.

Try Islam.

1. Only GOD is worthy of worship.

2. Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad etc were all human being chosen by God. They are to be respected not worship.

3. Do goods and avoid evils.

Jesus never tells mankind that he is God, son of God or he or his mother, Mary, should be worship instead of God.

Verses quoted to support blaspheming God are not directly from Jesus mouth and often their Authors are unknown.

Central message of all the messengers of God are:

1. There is only one God without partner and we should worship Him and do right

2. Mankind should establish prayer and gives charity to those deserving of it.

This is the right religion.

And on the day of judgement you will be one of the greatest loser, hell will be the abode.

In Islam, you are only responsible at maturity.

That is why in the last 20 years you here about the atrocities of the muslims. We call them terrorists but u call them jihadist.

You kill innocent people arround the world to spread ur religion. Most of you are happy with the activities of the Boko Haram, Osama Bin Ladin , Isis and others .

So with all these evil things you expect people to love you while your religion teaches hatred and sowing hatred.

There is an Islamic section just go there. You people should reason and change. You bar people from making comment in ur section but finds it right to make comments in this section.

That is why people view your religion as evil because you don't accomodate and loves violence.

1. Those who own property in excess of basic necessities but below the value of Nisab.

2.Persons of extreme poverty who possess no wealth whatsoever.

3 (Zakat collector) Those persons who are appointed to collect Zakat.

4. Those poor and needy persons who are given Zakat with the intentions of solidifying their hearts because they maybe recently converted to Islam or to bring them closer to Islam.

5. Slaves whose masters have agreed to set them free on a payment of a fixed amount. Zakat may be used to purchase their freedom.

6.A traveler, who, whilst wealthy at his residence, is stranded and in need of financial assistance.

7. A person whose debts exceeds his assets and his net assets (after deducting his liabilities) is below the Nisab limit.

8. Those who are away from home in the path of Allah. Those in Jihaad, those seeking knowledge or a stranded Haji may be assist with Zakat if they are in need.
