I've seen instances where young men prefer to take a cheap bottle of Chelsea in place of good food. Reason being that at least it helps them sleep to forget their sorrows. Well, I checked ur source n found out that most of the salaries increased are for the administrative teachers.


Teachers salaries varies in Nigeria, depending on what sector d teacher teaches ( private or public ). The new minimum wage in Nigeria is #56,000 but teachers n doctors will earn more than this.

Again, 1ksh=#3.60 doesn't work in this context cos both currency has diff purchasing power, the cost of goods in Kenya is diff from the cost in naija.

I met a guy who even went to Abuja with admission for petroleum engineering, and he was denied visa.

He had to come to Lagos and he was granted visa.

Abuja is bad news, I don’t advise people to go there.

Good day. Bro. I don't know much regarding international students admissions in China because i didn't attend college here. However, one thing I know is that you are likely not going to be granted a visa when applying for a short term Chinese language course on a Nigerian passport. I recall last February while I was at the Chinese embassy in Abuja to pick up some document, I overheard a Chinese visa interviewer telling visa applicant it was unnecessary for him (the applicant) to travel to China to learn Chinese when there were already a few Confucius Institutes in Nigeria where people go to learn Chinese. The visa was not granted. Here's my little advice: Stick with the bachelor's. Has the college sent you your JW202 form ? That's a very vital piece of document you need in order to secure your study visa to China. All the best to you.

i didnt go through oba hostel because some 'people' chased us with machetes daggers and sticks and we had to follow through the bushe to escape....i have no hate for any religion whatsoever ......am just saying what i saw....pls is there any thing i wrote up there that is a lie? theres been an uprising in mautech yola, everywhere is upside down it all started around 6pm when a communion service was being held in one of the LT's in the school LT2 to b precise then some muslim students entered and started destroying everything the alter the chairs and even broke a guys leg in the fellowship because a christian won the president post in the recently concluded S.U.G elections and they organised themselves and went back to their various mosques to guard it....then from there they still went back to the fellowship centres within the school broke into the storerooms brought out the instruments christians use in worship and burnt it right in my very eyes while shouting allah akbar they went back to their mosques and organised they almost broke into the girls hostel directly facing their mosques ....soldiers came and the muslim students chased them police came they chased them civil defence came same thing they beat up any christian student in sight they term us 'arne' an hausa word meaning pagan ignore whatever they say about security agencies being deployed and the situation being under control right now every christian has left the school some are trekking to town some are taking refuge at sangere a neighbouring community ignore my wrong spellings am under pressure now.....pls push this to front page let the world know cc: lalasticlala seun

Yes, majority of Adamawa is under fulani, except for the Numan confederacy which covers 5 LGAs.
Numan, Demsa, Lamurde, Guyuk and Shelleng. These places mostly populated by Bachama people were never conquered by fulanis and have never been under fulani rule, even since during the colonial period where many unconquered northern tribes were fraudulently forced under emirates through the indirect rule system. This is the reason why half or even more of Adamawa state people are christians and are not muslims.

Michika people for instance who are 80% Christians or more used to be under fulani rule of Mubi emirate, but some years ago, they chased away the fulani district head in their LGA and replaced him with an indigenous ruler. Same thing with the Sayawa people of Bauchi state who chased away the fulani ruler in their town and broke out of Bauchi emirate. Till today, no muslim can stay in that town in Bauchi state.

You must understand that the hausa fulanis received education and awarenesss earlier than the other northern minority tribes and were able to connive with the British people who used them to place the northern minorities under their rule. (Even those of them who were never conquered). Many of them have realised this and have broken out of fulani rule e. g Southern Kaduna. Many are still ignorant and powerless.

Edited. I can see that you are a fulani muslim, by your name. Watch out! I can bet you. Northern minorities especially the Christians will soon completely break out of any fulani influence and will be a powerful force! It will happen whether you like it or not!
