yes, am not the outgoing type but i love flexing but the moment i was posted to Gaanda village in Gombi LGA of Adamawa state in August of 2009, i just know say wahala don burst so i got to readjust and focus....the other fellows came with a plan also an we all had enough in our account on pass out day....it was N9,800 Alawe then, plus 5k paid by the village LCDA and the LGA so i save 5k monthly, 5k for joint economic council and manage the rest....we even did waec and neco, plus JAMB runs......you know as e dey been....we gat husle anywhere....Corper Kasim, Corper Nonso and me Corper Val....they will be laughing wen they see these write up....we even pay and wrote the Nigerian institue of Management (NIM) exam and passed!....Cheers

yes...NYSC is all about sacrifes or do you think its flexing....I mange to save wok monthly, enter a joint cooking or say economic union with two other corpers at our lodge to be buying food items and cooking together...so we had to contribute 5k monthly to buy food stuff....so i was in charge of cooking....it was fun...we did not go to the service year to ea or flex..we had our targets and me I have my plans already figure out....

this is my best advice to you...dont rush because your classmates have bought masters form....and dont use your NYSC savings to venture into it immediately...after you have been gainfully employed with your first degree, then you can go for it...master's dey sweet wen you hold money for hand plus say you dey work join am...well I just want to make common sense.

Tugrow, this is not fair and funny anymore. it's a month now we have been on this and 16days since payment. Yet you have not given update on goods purchased let alone if it has been shipped. Remember as at this transaction, time frame on normal shipping was 6-10 days but 16days has even covered the new 14days timeline and extra, yet no news whether it has been arranged to be shipped or not. i will really be pissed if you come here to tell me items are not yet shipped, N60k+ worth of items isn't child's play and tying it down is really unfair because i know you are still taking and piling new orders when older ones havn't been settled. Ever since, i told you to get more hands, you didn't. You are just requesting for assistance now when everyone is on waiting list. Please let me know when my items will get to me.

So politicians are foreigners from another country? They are no longer products of our society, FYI the only thing that differenciates you from a politician is a simple membersh card.

You have successfully confirmed the lack of moral standard in the country. As a graduate is it compulsory to wait for government jobs and if such job is not forth coming your next option is crime because this is what you are prone to do already, it is what you learnt from your background. So because you don't have govt job the next option for you is terrorism and political thuggery

Is it not the same govt job that you are complaining of being owed, how come it's still attractive to you? After qualifying as a medical doctor is it only govt hospitals that can offer doctors jobs in Nigeria, what of private hospitals or academic institutions both private and govt, charity organizations abound who require your services too.

The last time i read a newspaper and i saw where a minister in japan has to bow for like minutes just to apologize because there was lights out in a community not in the big city in japan oooo... Filling stations are owned by Nigerians who are free to belong to any groups or association they choose some of them are not involved in politics. These are the people that hoard fuel in times of scarcity and tamper with meters. This is not saying politics hasn't reared its ugly head in the issue if fuel marketing and distribution but the individuals involved remain citizens of the country. No FG will instigate fuel scarcity because it works against any ruling govt

Who are these cultists and badoos, are they all politicians? Are they not also youths in cultism, badoos, etc when someone leaving secondary school wants to build house immediately and buy 2017 model cars after 6months of graduation, what do you expect "make we just make am any how" reigns supreme

I understand that you are frustrated but it's not solely the government frustrating you, it's your desire for easy luxury without work that's your problem.

We all know the game plan of the enemy, to Starve the Church of Funds and it would not work. Even with Tithing the number of Pastors who live in penury far outweigh those who live in plenty. Not because God wants those pastors poor but because the Devil has a stronghold of poverty over many Community Churches and if their pastor doesn't liberate them soon enough. He himself would also be kept in that bondage.

Our Christian faith isn't a govt funded religion like Islam where the Religion lies on the wing of the Govt who builds Islamic Universities and Mosques(e.g 200 mosques in Germany to b built by Saudi) with govt fund. For Christians in USA, Norway, Brazil, South korea etc. We know our governments don't get involved in building this Christian institutions hence the growth of the Church lies in the Heavy contributions of Church members. But the devil is smart with his eden trick which is to kill off the funding of d church with an eden styled reasoning and logic I.e Come with a somewhat half valid argument and lure Christians into not giving to Church.

People talk about grace as their reason for not giving tithes, I laugh in derision. What sort of Grace is that? A grace that makes you do less or one that makes you do more. The requirements of the law are just a minimum benchmark for any true Christian. The Law says thou shall not commit adultery. Grace says thou shall love your wife in addition. Law says thou shall not steal, Grace says thou shall even give more and abundantly.


Some Christians have gone pass the so called 10% and in fact give more on regular income. To me those are the ones truly practicing grace. If the ones who had an unevangelistic Judaism could pay 10% then why should a Christain with an evangelistic religion pay less. It is a Shame to do less than Moses, Isaiah, David, Solomon etc.

Christians aren't called to do less than the fathers of Faith did we are called to do far more because to those whom much has been given much is expected. Finally as Christ said the treasure of a man lies where his heart is. If your heart lies in the Church your money would be in it. Don't give me the crap argument of give to the poor. You can always do that separately!

True there is the argument of Misappropriation of Church funds but that's another argument entirely. It is your responsibility as a Christian to find a Church you believe in her mission and give to. If not find a mission group anywhere in the world and send your tithe to them. E.g James and Betty Robinson Ministeries in Sudan, Joyce Meyers Prison Outreach, ECWA mission AGIP by Living Faith, Jentezen Franklin ministeries in Haiti etc Though i strongly recommend you give it to ur local church. Though if you don't trust ur Church enough to handle your tithe then u should t even worship there to begin with.

Hey Nairalandi, guess ur boutique business has started by now.if not I ll advise u go ahead wt the biz in Abuja. Clothing as any other basic necessity in life thrives almost anywhere and Abuja been what it is is a good location.
You can start from going from office to office, always go wt ur complimentary cards and customised packaging bags. Its the same biz I do, though I dont operatwfrom shops, am a wholesaler so i operate from home. I always av my complimentary cards wherever i go. I use bulk sms to notify peeps for new arrivals et al.
