Why must he inherit these old women, he has a much younger lady as his wife & can still marry many far younger chicks out there, abeg the widows should pipe down & leave the palace. It will even be an insult for him to inherit his father's wives
The new Ooni is not the son of the late Ooni. In any case, I don't support wife inheritance wether it's his father's wives or not.

I just googled how to commit suicide before I came here. I have snipper in my house I hv bin thinking of taking it, at least it's painless... my husband cheated on me by fulfilling his thre3 some fantasy tears hv not stoped flowing from my eyes. I wish I can tell my mum so she can talk me out of it... my heavy n broken heart will kill me even if I don't take that snipper
Who told death by drinking sniper is painless? It will go into your system and suffocate your cells. Its a slow painful death. Suicide is not worth it. Even me talking, I am currently passing through tough times but that cannot drive me to the point of committing suicide.

quit notice should be 6 months.. take ur landlord to court
Even if I take him to court, the legal fees is even enough to get myself a one room apartment.

I think he wrote "sented and tooked" intentionally. Even a primary 6 pupil knows that "sented" is bad english.

How much is the rent you are owing and will your landlord allow you to stay if you pay that rent?
Also, if you are able to pay the rent for one year, what is your plan going forward?
Just a question
The total is N132k. Yes, he'll allow me stay if I pay up. I am planning on setting up a laundry biz. I have just learnt the basics from an old friend who's into it. I am still at the planning stage though. Immidiately I sort out my acommodation issue I'll commence full time.

Your church? Can you family stay in the chuirch or with the pastor
People with similar problem have not gotten any help from the church so I felt there is no need going to see the pastor.

I feel your pain my brother. But you need to provide more information for us.
Presently, I don't have any job. I work on construction sites: a job which seldomly comes. My no. is 08065706429. Maybe you have friends or people in Warri who can verify the authenticity of my plight. I would have loved to post my address but for security reasons.

@Emboldened, you indeed should be.
So sir, since you lost your hotel job what have you been doing? Your post history shows you are very active at the sports betting section. While i have nothing against you, know nothing about your life online or offline(One can argue that you do that to pass time online etc etc) but I do find it irresponsible for a man in your shoes(I dont wear the shoe so I don't know where it hurts) to engage his online time (free data, work data or cheap data) on sports betting when he could have used same time to source for business contacts or connections.

PS: My opinion. I posted cos you mentioned me. And for the sake of your innocent kids, I do hope you get sorted soon.
Active, as in playing? No, I don't do sport betting. Naturally am a sport fan. I spend most of my time on nairaland in the business and politics section. The posts I made concerning sport betting was a competition in which I was not even a participant, but a spectator. Concerning what I've been doing since I left the hotel job, I've been working on construction sites: a job which comes once a while. I have put in lots of jobs applications both online and offline., but I am yet to get any feedback. I missed a very good opportunity to get a job in an oil servicing firm last month because of youth and community problem which is very rampant here in warri.

Oh my. I think the Xmas problems are better dealt with than you having a roof over your head. When you hit it big now, they will rally around u.

It's all good though.

I think women need to get up and work. At least for the sake of the children.

The kids are grown enough for your wife to start doing something. Even if it's to fry akara on the street.

How much can nairalanders give you that will sustain your family? I just feel so bad for the kids.
Actually, she sells little stuffs like biscuits, pure water and mineral. That helps but if I can get the sum of 36k that can get me a room of 3k monthly.

Please brothers and sisters I need your help. In seven days time my family and I will become homeless. My landlord gave me quit notice two days ago asking me to quit the self- contained apartment over my inability to pay my rent for over a year now. I have 3 kids: aged 8, 6 and 4. I used to work as a engineer in Delta Steel company Aladja. The company was closed down by Amcon and we were sent home without any salary or gratuity. It's been over 4 years now and I've been doing one or two odd jobs just to feed my family. The last job I did was a security job in a hotel which collapsed in Warri. I am not bothered about myself but my wife and innocent kids - about a place for them to lay their heads. Please my brothers and sisters with tears in my eyes I am begging you to help if possible to secure a one room apartment for my family. I initially posted this www.nairaland.com/2784030/please-homeless-nairalander and the mod justwise directed me here. Cc: r231, cooldk, ifyalways, temismith, valdubem and others

The year is almost over, schools will be closed by the end of this week. Instead of this embarrassment, you can send them to the village temporarily while you sort things out speedily.

I think Buddyy is winning this. Where is Bananaboi going to manufacture games from? All the predictable games have been played. Except he just want to take a blind shot at those south american leagues.

Easy bro. He was just joking with his opponent. Nothing serious. It's his own way of easing the tension. Away from that, I tip Sirchris4u to beat Buddyy in the final. Anybody can bookmark this page.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do some Christians Hate The Old Testament by Aurelius1(m): 9:03pm On Nov 23, 2015
madjnr:
Conclusion:
Christians must follow the laws of the Old Testament that had not been modified or replaced by newer ones in the New Testament. Otherwise, if we were to follow the NT alone, then we would have no life laws or directions to follow. This means as I mentioned above, a son can marry his father's former wife, or a brother can marry his sister, or an uncle can marry his niece, etc... since the NT never talked about these issues.
You, a muslim have the freedom to post thrash about other people's religion while others can't post in your section without being "forced" by seun to accept islam.
