Frustration, regret, depression, inferiority on self, hate for the country and you start thinking of what Ever means to survive

post=85726694]Honestly, Nigerians never listen. I've read over 100 pages of this thread and the story is still the same. The general rules sounded by Nigerians who have been to Dubai are:
travel prepared, keep something to fall back on if things go wrong, success is never guaranteed.

After sounding this warning over and over again, here are some of the comments you get from stubborn Nigerians who intend to travel by all means:

-Stop discouraging others from traveling
-My case will be different, I am highly favoured
-No jobs in Nigeria
-I shall make it in Jesus name, Amen
-God of Elijah will not allow his child to suffer grin
-Nigeria is not an option
-I'd rather be a slave in a foreign land than be a slave in my fatherland cry
-I'm just tired of Nigeria
-If it so bad over there, why have you not come back?
-With prayers God will see me through
-We all carry a different grace grin

After 1 month, reality set in. The reality for 90% of Nigerians is: No forthcoming jobs, pocket money getting finished, visa about to expire.

Reaction of stubborn/unfortunate Nigerians after 1 month in Dubai:

I don't reside in qatar but i think it could be true considering the limitations of visa to Africas and other nationals

someone told me that there’s jobs in Qatar and that the visa is five years and say the country have not cast for Nigerians like Dubia! Please house?? How true
I trust you are in Dubai then if you're when last did you visit union metro station or business bay if you did resently you'd agree with me that Nigerians are suffering bad and are wasting money coming here just want them to be properly guided.

If you ask the 90 percent of Nigerians you mentioned, thier initial plan before they came to Dubai was not to stay/settle permanently there but to huzzle, save up and relocate to somewhere better. My brother the point is Nigeria at the moment is messed up too, no where is easy but moving out of Nigeria to somewhere one can work and gather something which ordinarily he/she won't have been able to make in 9ja. People doing business too are suffering
Chaii if you don't hold yourself enough you'd start crying for people here, my brothers Dubai is extremely difficult for job right now please make plans for a better country or start a business in Nigeria and raise better money, 90 percent of Nigerians here with job wanna leave to better countries and you're planning on coming here with no employment‍♂️ please stop!! you guys are suffering too much. Y'all deserve better try and pay attention to details why you shouldn't be here the odds can't lie.

UAE and it's too much problems, someone can easily get hypertension here it's so fucking tough with getting the job then landing to fraudulent HR with there well masterminded plan of extortion, if God willing and you overcome save up and run. It's not easy here even few with jobs know how tough it was before they got one and what most in it are passing through. Please follow your heart, stay woke and stay prayerful. Happy new year

Firstly there's nothing like Dubai "permanent" residence, secondly you can only port to another country from Dubai if only your salary pay slip is 3500 and above.

Now my little advice to those planning to come over please when coming to nigeria airport come very on time and try and make change of 200 naira like #1000 then have a good bta then be bold and speak out cus those men will be asking you question that is none of there business, just like one asking me why am i going to spend this money if there are no poor people in my place to help with it, i just looked him to the eye and he was quiet. Please be bold and out spoken and have a good bta on dollar it will really help you. Thank you

The flight experience was so amazing, they kept on refreshing us till we landed, there was no issue at all to the glory of God.

UAE immigration is the best no delay of any kind just bring your passport they stamp you go your way, i love the way they work if not the other part of those girls smiling and ransacking my bag just for me to arrange it myself but come see free wifi, chai so fast.

My apology to everyone could'nt post cus i nearly missed my flight but to the glory of God i made it. Now these is my experience in our Lagos International Airport, i walked in first was the police at the entrance searching/cross checking my bag with so much delay trying to see if i could give bribe but i did'nt so i passed then headed to my airline counter the process was so annoying every body keep asking for money for every little job done which they are been payed for but i just ignore some dash some but now my problem was now the immigration officers, first one asked how much is my bta i told him he passed me second asked i said same thing he said it was not enough that i should increase it i told him i had money on my account he left me the other came same issue so i lobby him cus time was against me then the last one came i did same also was now finally passed

Work on yourself, stay positive and most importantly always recognize the God factor in you and you'd be preferred above all. Forget Negativity and keep pushing and you will succeed, above all i wish everyone success.
