Politics / Re: Ibeto Port And Terminal In Partnership With MAESK Containers In Onne Port(photos by AustineE1: 1:38pm On May 01
Dont be surprise that the Yoruba federal govt will come up with a policy to ground this wonderful initiative by an Igboman and especially now that Maesk company has exposed their lies of having a 600million dollars deal agreement with Nigeria. Also bearing in mind that investments that doesn't favour Lagos is now officially a national security threat.
The same govt wants to expend trillions to build a coastal road when most of the old roads are in total disrepair and even if you must build it and with honest intentions, why not start the project from the calabar axis because we know that as soon as the Lagos southwest axis is completed, the rest will be abandoned as usual and resurrected for campaigns close to electoral year and then ends up being abandoned.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Vehemently Condemns Lagos-Calabar Highway As A Misplaced Priority by AustineE1: 4:43pm On Apr 30
emkz:

If anyone from the Niger-Delta comes across the thread, please remember that some of you voted for Peter Obi. Peter Obi has demonstrated he is against the progress of the Niger Delta communities. The bulk of the funds for running our economy comes from the Niger Delta. But he says a big project to criss-cross the Niger Delta is a misplaced priority.

Note that the US spent their way out of recession through the New Deal which focused on massive infrastructural development across board, including roads. There is no nation interested in progress that is currently not engaged in one form of infrastructural development or the other. But the one which is 60 years old overdue in Nigeria, Peter Obi is fighting it, simply because he lost election.

If he didn't build anything meaningful in Anambra, I think it is disingenuous to fight against something being built through the Niger Delta. Thanks to Tinubu's ingenuity, Lagos is undergoing massive infrastructural development and embarking on an audacious railway project which the likes of Rufai Oseni would condemn.

Peter Obi doesn't want the progress for the Niger Delta. He just wants to get the votes and use anti-developmental and archaic ideas to ruin this country completely.

Only vote for those who want progress to be in your land. With this tweet, Peter Obi has shown he is not interested in that.

As for the Landmark CEO who has been all over the place making noise, can he show us documents where the shorelines and beaches in his location were ceded to him? If he violated the right of way, it is evil for him to complain. The best thing to do was to meet and find ways to relocate his business or shift to an area where the coastal highway won't pass. When I travelled through Accra-Cape Coast highway, part of which was adjacent to the ocean, it was a beautiful sight with the blue waters! Guess what? Beaches still functioned!!

Just to add, a road network is also a delight for businesses. Food can easily be transported from rural areas to urban centers and those in rural communities would make good money.

But Peter Obi does not want this.

The hypocrisy of you agbadorians are at another level, see your cunning way of trying to bring in regional sentiment into this honest submission by Peter Obi.If your Tinubu actually loves Niger-delta,why didn't he start the project from the calabar axis, which is obvious to all that this project cannot be completed by this criminal govt. The whole idea is to do a coastal road for Lagos as mooted by the criminal Sanwolu govt, knowing that Sanwolu cannot do it with Lagos fund.
Your principal so much love Niger-deltans and yet the military where allowed to run rampage on Ijaw towns and having their elderly hiding in bushes and creeks...so much of love and yet he has been dishing out 90% of his appointments to his Lagos axis Yoruba gangs.

One Yoruba brother has colonized this beautiful, smart Igbo lady.

Why do the most beautiful and educated Igbo ladies tend to marry Yoruba men. embarassed

There are many of them here in America. You would see Ivy-league-educated Igbo women with Yoruba guy(mostly Ivy-educated too). There are more of such marriages than highly educated Igbo-Igbo marriages.
You dont need to look far, Igbo girls are so beautiful and every accomplished Yoruba guy not the twerps on nairaland, would want to be associated with these beauties and brain,so that their offsprings could tap from their mother.

The way these people reason is so annoying, just because their junky brother with stolen mandate became the president of Nigeria,it gives them the feelings that anything Nigerians from other regions get or do,is a priveiedge and not their right. Air Peace should be praised for putting Nigeria in the world map of nations with credible Airlines more like a national Airline that APC scammed Nigeria of,in the last government.

Those screaming patriotism today were very much involved in the evil propaganda that brought down the best president Nigeria had in our recent history. His crime was that he is a christian from a minority tribe and the percieved owners of Nigeria, the Hausa-Fulani North and there willing co conspirators, the south west muslims, felt that this South-south Ijaw boy must be dealth with. They sat in their evil covens and conspired with some world powers whom are threatened by the economic success of Nigeria at that time and wished that Nigeria remains in perpertual servitude and hence, imposed incompetent, ill prepared and daft septugenarians to run down our once thriving economy.

Politics / ...I Remember When We Conspired Against Nigeria by AustineE1: 12:02pm On Apr 24
I left the UK and returned to Nigeria to start my career in March 2013. Most of the Nigerian international students I went to uni with had already returned since 2012.

Nearly all of us who came back started planning to escape from Nigeria in 2016. There was only one thing that changed in Nigeria between 2013 and 2016. We know what or who it was.

But yeah, "GEJ was a terrible president." If you keep repeating it to yourself 9 years later, despite being mocked by all the data in existence, that will somehow make it true 👍🏿

Me, I don't care who has any investment in maintaining this gigantic untruth because none of you feeds me, and I will speak freely - "GEJ must go" was a foreign intelligence operation run out of Washington DC by the US State Department, whose doctrine interpreted Nigeria's economic growth and growing partnership with China as a strategic threat to American economic and military interests on the continent.

The Obama administration repeatedly interfered very directly and blatantly in that election cycle. Barack Obama recorded and posted a video urging Nigerians to "vote for the next chapter." Michelle Obama involved herself in #BringBackOurGirls, which was itself merely the 'Big Idea' within the larger marketing campaign that was "Jonathan must go." John Kerry travelled to Nigeria and met with the opposition.

The local players on the ground who took part in the marketing and political campaign to oust Goodluck Jonathan and replace him with the Illiterate were merely useful idiots - yes, that includes you reading this with your guilty conscience. If the shoe fits, I am definitely referring to you. You were nothing but a pawn in a geopolitical tussle between 2 of the Countries That Actually Matter.

Because you lack wisdom, insight and especially humility, you really thought you were doing something historic by removing an incumbent president - a trick you have not been able to repeat ever since, because the US State Department - which actually runs Nigeria - had no problem with 8 years of The Illiterate, and definitely has no problem with another 8 years of the Drug Dealer whom it actively protects.

You idiots thought that you were empowered, politically awakened people, when you were just chess pieces on a board being pushed around by forces you were too stupid and egotistical to recognise. Now your GDP has effectively HALVED in just 9 years, and a whole generation of high-quality human capital has been lost to the US and its allies.

And they didn't bring back your girls!

Stupid bleeps.

Yoruba president of Nigeria...the appointments shared between North and South, which is good and far better than the nonsense the Fulani chauvinist Gen Buhari did. However out of the eight appointees from south,Yorubas are five while south east and south south have to share just three and more like board members. It is well!

Dangote is a shrewd business man,he is investing where his mouth is.He knows that to whom much is given, much is expected. When you consider the kind of massive urbanization and industrialization going on in Anambra state, one would think the state is a massive construction site and may be in a race against time. For this reason, there is a crazy demand for cement which is the key ingredient in construction and hence Dangote is paying back,as a token of his appreciation.Congratulation to Dangote, the great Alumnus of Unizik.
