PoliticsRe: APC Crosses 10-Million Membership Mark - Felix Morka by AustineE1: 4:53pm On Feb 07
Yet they are afraid of mandatory electronic transmission of electoral results in real time.
Make dem dey, they deceive themselves with imaginary registration.
CelebritiesRe: US Mission Celebrates Shaboozey For Winning Grammy by AustineE1: 4:39pm On Feb 07
TechBaron:
Three Igbos?

Why not three Nigerians?
Stop sounding stupid,a thread that goes with the topic '3 Nigerians of igbo descend won Grammy same night'...using Igbo descend is an expression aim at explaining their true origin since they are not based in Nigeria and may have mixed parentage.
CrimeRe: Anambra: Cultists On Rampage In Ogidi, Kill Community Leader Over Member's Death by AustineE1: 4:06pm On Feb 07
These cult killings in Anambra which some times are tagged as unknown gunmen activities has to stop, how long will the Bla*k Ax*(NBM) and Vikings reign of blood in Anambra go on and yet they authorities seems not to be doing much to nip it in the bud. For years these two groups have shamelessly wasted they lives of their members in an attempt to proof superiority and most annoyingly, some innocent citizens have fallen victim to this bloody act.
Soludo must step up,these guys must as soon as possible be rounded up. Enough is enough.
CelebritiesRe: US Mission Celebrates Shaboozey For Winning Grammy by AustineE1: 3:46pm On Feb 07
I made a thread of three Igbos winning grammy on the same night, twice the Mod banned me instantly and deleted the thread,as if they were briefed not to allow Nigerians or Igbos celebrate such a fit. At a time when we had post on Davido and others not winning the Grammy, which we all felt bad about.
I just said, this is crazy, how can Mods do such, even without ethnic bashing.
PoliticsRe: US Lawmaker Criticises Fg’s $9m Lobbying Deal, Officials Have Culture Of Denial by AustineE1: 12:46pm On Feb 07
Let's keep exposing our moral decadence to the world, money that can build several industries in the country, squandered with reckless abandon in the worst form impunity....yet nothing will be done to the offenders,Nigerians no longer have the strength to protest and when they do,they quickly organize a counter protest by sharing peanuts, they have succeeded in weaponizing poverty. They now have 'data boys'online, political thugs, street urchins, all willing to fight for them because they need to survive the poverty stricken environment created by the same oppressors. It is such a pity!
PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Broke Protocol By Sitting Together With Uba Sani - Bashir Ahmad by AustineE1: 12:37pm On Feb 07
AMINDA:
Another marvellous achievement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Savage response!...guy,you are very wicked, you just hit the nail on the head.
PoliticsRe: Obi’s Claims Over Senate’s Rejection Of E-transmission Of Results Misleading–APC by AustineE1: 12:32pm On Feb 07
Iou
Ofunaofu:
One would think the Lagos APC spokesperson is speaking under some kind of influence, in fact I must confess he is a mæd man because the argument being made defies logic.

The claim that the Senate “did not oppose” electronic transmission of election results is a convenient distraction.

What matters is this: did the Tinubu-led APC Senate under Akpabio make electronic transmission mandatory? No, they didn’t.

Rather than engage with this central issue, the APC has chosen deflection, attacking Peter Obi instead of answering the question Nigerians are actually asking.

Thunder 🔥⚡🔥 all of them there
I am surprise you are responding to a statement by vagabonds in Lagos whom are yet to come to the realization how their demi-god lost and was rejected in the last elections in Lagos.Meanwhile the last I checked,Atiku was even the first to criticise that sham of electoral law passage by senate but they can't do without mentioning they name of their chief tormentor Obi.There constant attacking of Obi is now even the reason some youths whom never voted him in the last elections are now loving him the more,he is now a cult hero of the poverty stricken, oppressed and deprived Nigerians.
They are trying to divert attention from the real issue...simple,what we Nigerians are asking for is MANDATORY TRANSMISSION OF ELECTORAL RESULTS AND IN REAL TIME. what's so hard in this, our POS operators are found in every nook and cranny of this nation and it is even alleged that kidnappers use pos even in the jungle but during elections our electoral wards will not have network.
Indeed, welcome to a now disgraced nation.
PoliticsRe: Several Nigerian Soldiers Feared Dead As Boko Haram Attacks Army Base In Borno by AustineE1: 11:54am On Feb 07
To tell me that these bastard terrorists are sometimes arrested and overtime some may be released for being repentant!
Imagine after killing our soldiers and civilians, some people will think it wise to negotiate with terrorists. I spit!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Cinema Infrastructure Is Heavily Concentrated In The South West by AustineE1: 9:17pm On Feb 06
Nice to hear that,I was surprised by nairaland mods for banning me twice for simple posting a thread on how 3 Nigerians of Igbo descent won Grammys in the same night,at this last Grammys.
It seems they were briefed not to allow Nigerian youths know that Igbos won Grammy award.
While there were threads even in frontpage about Davido etc that failed to win a Grammy award and we all felt bad about it. So who is against the post about 3 igbos whom won the Grammy.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Several Nigerian Soldiers Feared Dead As Boko Haram Attacks Army Base by AustineE1: 4:04pm On Feb 06
RIP to our fallen heroes.....the fight against terror must be fought and won,no amount of temporary set back can stop it.
CrimeRe: Four Feared Dead As Cult-related Violence Erupts In Parts Of Lagos by AustineE1:
This is terrible, very often it's always Ayes(bl*ck *xe) vs Eiyes(Airlords) in Lagos killing each other at will,in the useless battle of supremacy. This time around, the victim seems to be a Buccaneer(Alora),just when you think this youthful madness should end,it is becoming more complicated with Vikings(Aro) now finding new home in Lagos.
Cultism pays nobody,it only ends with pains and sorrow.
Say no to cultism!
PoliticsRe: If E-transmission Of Votes Is Not Compulsory, We're Wasting Our Time - Inibehe E by AustineE1: 8:06pm On Feb 05
They know that Nigerians will vote them out, that's why they want to start rigging the elections before the elections proper.
What are they afraid of,'they wicked runs when no one is pursuing them'-Bible!
PoliticsRe: Atiku Condemns Senate Rejection Of Electronic Transmission Of Results by AustineE1: 7:41pm On Feb 05
helinues:
May I remind you that the said senators from the opposition party also rejected the bill as it won't favour them.

Why singling only Akpabio out? You are not even sure if the senator representing your constituency also vote against

Blame others while shielding their own
Its obvious you don't have your ears on ground, the minority opposition senators has since released a statement distancing themselves from that sham of an electoral law that is self serving.
One would think that after inducing governors and many legislators to decamp to the ruling party, that they should no longer be afraid of losing the elections, knowing that the have all they need to win. They know very well that Nigerians are waiting for them at the polls,so they want to start rigging before the elections proper.
Yeye dey smell!
PoliticsRe: Atiku Condemns Senate Rejection Of Electronic Transmission Of Results by AustineE1: 6:12pm On Feb 05
Our rubber stamp Senate is a big disgrace, never in the history of this country have we had such useless corrupt sets of unscrupulous senators, running the legislative arm.
Akpabio will go down the history as a senate president that ran the most selfish and senseless senate in Africa.
In the words of JF kennedy,'those who make peaceful changes impossible, will definitely make violent changes inevitable'!
PoliticsRe: Islamic Extremists Behind Kaiama Killings — Kwara Governor by AustineE1:
Our securities should be more proactive, what's the duty of the DSS,within the period these extremists were trying to indoctrinate they people in the community, that's when the secret service should have rounded them up.
We tend to ignore little things that matters,of lately we've Islamic leaders ordering demolition of traditional worship places or attacking one Ifa priestess or the other. That to me is a red flag, this is how extremism starts, they suppress other religions and DSS seems as if they don't see or hear such, that's when to start putting eyes on these characters and if necessary, quickly take them away from the society in other not to indoctrinate others.
PoliticsRe: Newly Constructed ECOWAS Headquarters In Abuja by AustineE1: 11:55pm On Feb 04

COMRADES, the building looks beautiful, but unfortunately, it will be hosting the braindead leaders from various societies across the region

What a shame
Apt and on point!
PoliticsRe: Why The Nigerian Senate Voted Against Mandatory Electronic Transmission Of Resul by AustineE1: 11:50pm On Feb 04
The situation in Nigeria is terrible...election results will not be transmitted to IREV in real time and then the flimsy excuse of 'GLITCHES',and we will continue be governed by idi*ts. That's why they are decamping, acting with reckless abandon, in the worst form of impunity because they know our votes don't count.
The bible says 'the craftiness of the wicked will be turned into foolishness'.
In the words of John.F.Kennedy 'Those who make peaceful change impossible will make violent change inevitable'.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Assembly Bows To Pressure, Suspends Demolitions In Makoko by AustineE1: 8:09am On Feb 04
Hu
simpleseyi:
That Makoko must go. It’s not fit for human or animal living. I was born in Iwaya and lived there for about three decades, but now I am flying from Europe to Asia, from Australia to America having a taste of different bittches.

Iwaya and Makoko are twin communities. As a matter of fact, the first police station in that corridor was named Iwaya-Makoko Police post. The first bank in that corridor was Iwaya-Makoko Community Bank, even the first NEPA office was named Iwaya-Makoko NEPA post.

If you are rejected by Iwaya girls because of your negative record, then you try Makoko girls. Most of the people in Makoko/Ilaje are from Ondo waterside and Ijaw. Another set of people there are from Badagary area of Lagos and the last group are Benin Republic citizens some of who have families in Badagary as a result of the 1840s Berlin Conference which divided Africa into countries.

It is not that these people cannot afford to live an average life in a decent community, but they just decided to live in that horrible society. Some have many wives and uncountable children like Atiku Abubakar. They need to go, they cannot continue living in that state.
Where the people living in Makoko comes from, does not really matter, like you said, they are from Ondo, others Ijaws and people from benin republic but let me ask you,who is truly a Lagosian?is it Tinubu that is from Iragbaji Osun state or most of the governors whom are destroying buildings and are claiming they are real omo oko!
The truth is that the demolition should only have happened if they had resettled them before the demolition, which we know that only reason for the demolition was never for the environmental wellbeing of the people living there but strictly for economic reasons.
They will only value these people when seeking for votes.
EducationRe: FG did not Approve Textbook Excluding Igbo History For JSS Class - Tunji Alausa by AustineE1: 4:00pm On Feb 03
The authors of this book tells you a story of the level of hatred and bitterness in a certain tribe have for the igbos, however igbos keep striving for greater heights while some others choose to hate.
First of all,FG should not only offer a rebuttal, they should go ahead and ban the book all over Nigeria and the authors should be invited by the DSS,to explain the reason for wanting to ignite ethnic tension in Nigeria.Like I have always known because of the characters involved,it will quickly be swept under the carpet.
We move on!
Music/RadioRe: Davido Reacts To Grammy Loss by AustineE1: 10:39am On Feb 03
Once nominated for the Grammy,it shows you are a great musician, winning it could boil down to other factors, politics, connections and other reasons best known to them.
Big congrats Davido!
PoliticsRe: Why Is Lagos This Dirty - Photos by AustineE1: 10:37am On Feb 03
Kemetian:
Lagos has over 30 million people. The state government just doesn't make enough money to maintain the entire city, for now.

As they increase their IGR or internally generated revenue, they will do the needful.

THEY JUST NEED TIME.
Dey whine yourself! Why do you people love to self deception,Lagos has one of the largest economy in Africa, infact Lagos economy is said to be larger than most countries in Africa,Ghana inclusive. Ghana is said to be about 40million in population but yet Ghana is clean to a great extend incomparism to Lagos which looks like a dump site in most areas...how much more money do they need?how much is accounted for?how much is used for frivolities?how is looted away?
HealthRe: Should A Health Worker Disclose A Patient's HIV Status To The Spouse? by AustineE1: 9:12am On Feb 03
Mynd44:
The hippocratic oath is not superior to the constitution. The law is the law.

The health worker can tell the spouse. Confidentiality ends when you are about to commit a crime.

Psychologists are mandated to report to the police if they believe their client/patient is abut to go commit a violent crime
Well you have made a salient point, more like 'your right stops when the right of others begins'.
PoliticsRe: Again, Tinubu Intervene In Wike, Fubara Feud, Details Emerge by AustineE1: 9:06am On Feb 03
The political leader of Rivers, when he is not even a member of APC....different strokes for different folks,in other states they said they governors are the political leaders but in emperor Wikes domain who dare tries that or you face the fury and wrath of the undisputed emperor, even the president chickened out.
HealthRe: Should A Health Worker Disclose A Patient's HIV Status To The Spouse? by AustineE1: 9:00am On Feb 03

RomanceRe: “i’d Rather Die Than Get Married” — Nigerian Lady Sparks Online Debate by AustineE1: 8:56am On Feb 03
Well, considering the fact that she knows she has nothing to offer this kids in life and rather than her giving birth to a societal nuisance like herself,it is better she remains single or most likely if she is a lesbian, she should continue, nobody cares, she should keep her opinion to herself...anything to go viral!

PoliticsRe: LASG Addresses Makoko Demolition Concerns, Unveils $2m Redevelopment Initiative by AustineE1: 8:36am On Feb 03
Lagos state government action is an after thought, they never had it in mind to resettle these poor Nigerians but for the pressure from NGOs both local and internationally, they are shamelessly trying to save face by this after thought act.i hope it is not audio resettlement...we will keep our ears on ground to make sure that these vulnerable and constantly exploited Nigerian indigent masses are fully resettled without any hidden string attached.
Talking about winning an award in 'putting the cart before the horse',gov Sanwolu is the undisputed winner!
