Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Sends SMS Messages To Israeli Citizens, Warning Them To Flee (picture) by AustineE1: 4:39pm On Mar 08
If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!
If only Iran has firing power of Isreal or America, no gulf nation will ever sleep without the rain of bullets on their houses.
These tyrannical state, must be caged and never allowed to have access to anything nuclear weapon and the time is now,the bogeyman is knocking on his door. Thanks to America and Isreal for being proactive and trying to make the world a better place.
PropertiesRe: Lagos Government Asked Her To Pay 400k To Unseal Her House Despite Having Papers by AustineE1:
The level of corruption in Lagos state is so alarming,it is so much engrained in people's ego, that no one wants to do good...
Every slightest opportunity both some state and non state actors find a way to exploit others, infact it is an acceptable way of life in Lagos or so it seems.

PoliticsRe: Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo Rejects Asylum From Australia, Austria by AustineE1: 9:28am On Mar 06
Real men are hard to find these days. Shakespeare once wrote 'cowards die many times before their death but the brave die only but once'! The pastor is a great man indeed.
Not like some so called pro democracy activists during they days of Abacha regime, they formed NADECO to challenge Abacha but they took to their heels and left for the US and UK,they true activists like Gani Fawehimi,Jonah Jang,Pa Abraham Adesanya,Pa eniehero etc all stayed back and fought with the people against tyranny, only for those clowns to come back after the death of Abacha and start claiming that they are pro democracy activists.
Today,we ve seen the outcome of this grand deception at the national level.

Majority of you just comment on issues on Nairaland without having adequate information on the topic. I bet 99.9% of you don't even know how we arrived at this conflict. What position do you want Iran to accept again? After the last meeting in Geneva, Iran accepted to dilute their 400kg of 60% enriched uranium to 1% for domestic use which will make it irreversible after its been diluted to that grade. In return, the Iranians asked for lifting of sanctions that has affected their economy but the US said no and that the only thing they might promise is "not to attack Iran". They now insisted that Iran gives up their ballistic missile program which the Iranians said no to as that's the only way they can defend themselves. Trump was OK with not talking about their missile program but Netanyahu insisted that the US force Iran to give up the missile program and they eventually attacked them. Without Iranian missiles, Iran cannot defend itself against Israeli aggression. They want a subdued and weakened Iran that cannot defend itself like Palestine and Lebanon. Do you guys realize that the only reason Palestine is destroyed is because it doesn't have a military? No army, no navy, no airforce. It doesn't have any security force to defend itself against any external aggression. It only has a paramilitary wing to take care of local security. That's why Israel can bomb them to stone age without any reply. Lebanon that has an army, has a very small army of less than 90,000 people and you can see how they usually get pummeled by Israel without response. That is the kind of Iran that the US and Israel wants.
Oh save me the story, you did just very well to change the narratives.
You forgot to mention that Iran sponsored parallel military in those nations you mentioned, thereby undermining its security and sovereignty. Iran sponsored terrorist military groups disguised as resistance fighters, became state actors and ridiculed sovereign nations. Did you ask yourself why Buhari a Sunni Muslim was so fast to eliminate the threat from El zak zakky shia group sponsored by Iran to run a parallel government in Nigeria.
Keep defending Ayatollah and his revolutionary guards whom over the years has not hidden their hatred for Isreal and the free world. His wish as stated,is to wipe Isreal from the face of the earth, they danced and sang with it. They suppress free speech and other religions in their homeland and has always propped Hamas and Hezbollah to attack Isreal,so dont you think they should also have a taste of what they have always wished others.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Owes More Domestic Debt Than Any Geopolitical Zone In Nigeria by AustineE1: 8:40am On Mar 05
Mathewrichard99:
How I wish the debt Of Lagos State is in commensurate proportion with the level of development. Lagos ought to have developed more than the present stage..... Presently, Lagos development is very slow even though, in comparison with other states in Nigeria, it's still the fastest but Lagos shouldn't be judged based on the development of other states.... Lagos is far far not their mate..... The development of Lagos out to be guaged with the likes of Dubai, Kuwait and Rwanda....
Say no more! Only if data boys will understand that leaders must be put on their toes at all times. That's the difference between the west and Africa.

theophorus:
A Poor man has only a debt of 20k he is struggling to pay and Opay is dragging him like Tiger Generator but the Rich have debt Running to Billions but the Banks are still giving them Souvenir.

Read this again and Understand the implications.
This is only so in your screwed mentality and in an environment consumed by corruption,in higher climes,a billionaire that owes more than he can pay, will declare bankruptcy but it is what it is in Nigeria, your so called billionaires get away with obvious financial irregularities.
Nigerians must learn how to hold their leaders to accountability, the problem is not just the debts,is the amount owed commensurate to works it's used for?
This is the first law of public accountability, because these debts must be paid at some time by government.Who bears the brunt especially when or if not judiciously used?
PoliticsRe: 12 APC Senators, Who Are Lining Up For The Governor's Seat In Their States by AustineE1: 8:20am On Mar 05
Senators from the South East have their hands tied, they may not want to waste money and contest against governors in the South East whom are up and doing especially Abia, then Enugu and to a reasonable extend Anambra.
However if you are not an incumbent governor,it is not wise to contest governorship in the South East under the leaking umbrella of APC,it is not saleable, you can only decamp to APC.
The South East voters are about the most enlightened voters in Nigeria, they do not reinforce failure.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Owes More Domestic Debt Than Any Geopolitical Zone In Nigeria by AustineE1: 8:09am On Mar 05
Some people just left the chat......how can you dare say the Lagos Tinubu reclaimed and built from the Atlantic ocean, with all the taxes collected in Lagos, all the 'internally generated revenue that is more than that of west Africa',with all the ports, with almost all business headquarters in Nigeria located in Lagos and you say Lagos is so much indebted!

Easy to run your mouth when you're fighting with about 7 countries backing you.

Why don't you fight Iran without support from anyone?
The more reason why Iran should humble itself, accept defeat and save they lives of innocent Iranians that will be wasted...agree to all terms and conditions proposed to it,in its nuclear program. What's so hard for the Mullahs to understand.
Let's share love and not hate!

Foreign AffairsRe: Tel-aviv Is Going Down Video by AustineE1: 5:10pm On Mar 03
This people and cheap propaganda,in the next week or more, they will start shouting genocide and tell you how '1million' women and children have been killed in Iran.
When isreal fights Hamas, they tell you that Hamas is winning the war, until the street of Gaza was turned into rubbles. They tell you
that Hezbolla is going to wipe out Isreal with their missiles, that Yemeni Hutu rebels will set Tel Aviv on fire, that Iran will over-run Isreal but sooner than later, placards of genocide will be displayed all over the media, claiming that the Zionist regime is evil.
The longer Iran pushes this war,the more their military capacity will be obliterated and set back to 50 or more years. Isreal is playing ping pong in Tehran skyline, that's quite downgrading to the already diminished reputation of the Iranian capabilities.

You're supporting the wrong people.

Did Iran go to the United States to kill their president?

Did Iran attack the US or Israel?

Imagine a richer and more powerful neighbor comes to your house to kill your father and you retaliate. Are you the bad guy?

Do not support evil so that evil does not follow your everywhere you go.
The same Ayatollah over the years have oppressing and killing it's own people.zThe last protest in Iran saw thousands of Iranians die,who does that?
Over the years he sponsored rogue nations and terrorist governments all over the world, while shouting death to America,Isreal and all its allies. They sponsored Hamas,Hezbollah,Yemen terrorist groups, syria,Iraqi etc the list goes on.
When the October 23 attack in Isreal happened and a whole lot of Israelis died, they celebrated and they were boastful because Israelis were killed in their numbers.
What goes around comes around bro!

40,000 GWH generated by Nigeria but most times you have only about 5000 GWH to be distributed to a country of over 200,000 million people.

God bless you my Igbo brother from across the Niger.

It was an unfortunate incident that happened in Asaba.

Unfortunately bro, the people you want to work with to change the story of Nigeria for good don't want it to happen, they still believe that the Igbos must not be allowed to govern Nigeria even if the Igbo man running for President is the ordained leader by God, so tell me how the so called Nigeria can be liberated?
You made a salient point,it is a painful reality but we ndigbo must stand firm and don't lose focus,if Nigeria chooses the road to self destruction by its wrong choices and self inflicted insecurity then we as a people must pursue our quest for the 'land of the rising sun'....probably the regions or ethnic groups will be better farther apart.
PoliticsRe: Governor Of Zamfara State Lawan Dauda To Join APC by AustineE1:
History has thought me one thing, that whenever all the forces are aligning to one principal and it seems darkest and the future of the opposition looks gloomy, then the fall of the principal will be heavier.
In the days of Abacha, political actors all submitted to him, infact the 5 political parties then nominated him as their sole candidate,Bola Ige as an opposition figure then called them the 'five fingers of a leprosy hand'.The whole political parties and who is who in Nigeria aligned with Abacha, different Abacha lobby and political groups were formed on nearly daily basis, they said he 'was whom the cap fits'.
But when the fall came,it came like a thief at night and the rest is now history!
They political actors today should be more careful, the higher they push their insatiable ambitions, the bigger the fall will be.
A word for the wise.

PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Village V. Gowon's Village Trending On Twitter by AustineE1: 8:23pm On Feb 27
I am from Asaba and an Igboman to the core,we in Asaba felt the pain of the war most, considering the shameful event of Asaba massacre, carried out by Murtala Mohammed and Ibrahim Taiwo.
However,it is now in our past!
Gowon was a good man influenced by the northern oligarchy at that time,he even agreed to 'Aburi accord' in Ghana but the core north, their Yoruba collaborators and Britain forced him not to honour the agreement.
Right now,the good people of Plateau state are also victims of this contraption called Nigeria, whatever happened during the war is now in our past.We must all join hands to make this nation work again. Make it a nation where the strong defends the weak, speak for the voiceless and resist all forces of darkness.

Grandiose delusion!the first strike on Iran,Ayatollah and they rest of the mullahs will look for rat holes to hide their heads .. nobody prays for war but if it happens,America has the capacity to make Iran look like Gaza in first 2weeks. We all must demand for peace,it is non negotiable, enough of innocent citizens dying for a war they never wished or asked for.
